Chapter 950 Grapefruit and Apple
Chapter 950 Grapefruit and Apple
Seeing that Leon was ready, Abigail immediately began to communicate with the elements to open a channel to another coordinate.
The elements representing space gathered under the feet of the three people, outlining a vortex-shaped magic rune. With the stimulation of magic power, the rune began to flicker, and the surrounding space began to distort. Then the three people appeared together in the depths of the coal forest.
Leon didn't feel anything, but Sophia vomited directly, and Abigail didn't look too good either. Her face was pale and her steps were unsteady.
"Three people are much more powerful than one person." Seeing Leon's concerned look, Abigail waved her hand to indicate that she was fine. "I'm just a little exhausted. I'll be fine after a while."
"I thought you were fully prepared and confident about this." Leon helplessly supported Abigail and handed Sophia an unopened bottle of mineral water. "Do you need some water to rinse your mouth?"
"Thank you." Sophia took the bottle of mineral water, unscrewed it, and took a big gulp. Then she gargled a few times and spat it out. Then, she dodged the dinner she had just vomited with disgust and complained, "What a terrible experience, even though it was magical."
"You can't do it at such a short distance. You still need to practice." After patting Sophia's back, Leon turned around and joked to Abigail, whose face had regained its color.
The main reason for saying this was that he saw the spire of the Mage Tower in the northeast direction, which proved that the distance of this teleportation was not too far.
"Teleportation magic is a very advanced and complicated magic, not to mention that I brought you two with me." Abigail rolled her eyes and retorted.
"Okay, I won't tease you anymore. Are you all recovered?"
Seeing that Abigail refused to admit defeat, Leon didn't want to continue provoking her, and instead assured the girl he was supporting.
"I'm fine." Abigail broke free from Leon's arm, indicating that she could act on her own.
But Sophia was the opposite. She stuck closer to Leon and even wanted to climb onto his back, trying to make Leon carry her.
But after being slapped hard on the butt by Leon, he immediately calmed down: "I have no problem either."
"Lead the way and meet your new friend." Seeing that both of them had recovered from the influence of the crude teleportation magic, Leon reminded Abigail.
Led by Abigail, the three began to travel through the rather dense jungle in front of them. Although the moon at night was obscured by the dense tree canopy and could not be seen clearly, the bright moonlight easily penetrated the gaps between the branches and leaves and illuminated the ground beneath their feet, so they were not worried about moving forward in the dark.
This was a primeval forest where no one had ever set foot. There were no proper roads, and it was not a pleasant experience to walk in. The trees were the same type all around, and it was easy to get lost once you got in. But Abigail seemed to have mastered a road map, and she walked without stopping or hesitating, and she always managed to avoid some natural traps with thorns.
After walking for about ten minutes, the dense forest in front of them suddenly opened up, and the three of them came to a place surrounded by dense trees, but with an unusually flat and spacious open space in the center.
In the center of the clearing, a shabby hut made of branches, which was obviously man-made, stood abruptly on the grass.
"The house I prepared for it was a temporary residence. I originally planned to take it to the Mage Tower for a while, but for some reason, it just didn't want to leave the forest. I was too anxious at the time, so I just made do with what I had."
Abigail immediately explained the reason for the cabin and why it was so sloppy.
"It has a wild beauty." Leon managed to find a relatively nice adjective.
Sophia said nothing, but kept her head down to avoid Abigail catching the corners of her cracked mouth.
Knowing that her explanation was meaningless, Abigail clasped her hands awkwardly, unsure whether to continue speaking. However, Leon had no intention of comforting Abigail. Instead, he took the initiative to walk over to the sloppy little house, squatted down, and cast his gaze into the house.
At first glance, he saw a green Junimo lying on its back on the grass, fast asleep. Its bean sprout-like hands and feet were spread out in a big letter shape, and a limb similar to a young sprout was dangling above its head, looking very funny.
It was indeed a Junimo, but compared to the ones in the community center, this Junimo was obviously several times larger, the difference was roughly like the difference between an apple and a grapefruit.
Although it is a little bigger in size, it does not look weird, but rather more cute.
Seeing the little guy sleeping soundly, Leon felt a little embarrassed to wake it up and ask what was going on.
But as Abigail and Sophia approached, the sound of their footsteps seemed to scare the little guy. He immediately turned over and got up from his deep sleep, and immediately started to run away.
But although the hut was simple, it only had one exit, and this exit was blocked by Leon, so it could only run around in the already small area of the house, waving its little arms constantly, as if to show its threat.
"Don't be nervous, friend, I'm not a bad person."
Seeing the panic-stricken look on the little guy's face, Leon quickly spoke to comfort him, showing a friendly smile and spreading his hands to show that he was not carrying any dangerous items.
Although Leon thought he had behaved gently enough, the little guy still circled around the house.
Fortunately, Abigail came over at this time: "It's me, don't be afraid, they are my family, they won't hurt you."
After seeing Abigail, the Junimo immediately stopped, looked at Abigail aggrievedly, and then pointed at Leon and made a series of chirping sounds.
This sound was quite pleasant but incomprehensible to Abigail, but it was a complete sentence to Leon's ears.
"He's so scary. He has a dark aura about him."
"Well, there should be more than just the aura of darkness on me." Leon corrected the Juni Demon helplessly. After all, he was still the holder of forest magic.
"Can you understand our language?" The Junimo was stunned when he heard that Leon actually responded to his accusation and refuted it.
"Of course, you can't feel the forest magic on me?" Leon asked back.
"Oh, you are the son of nature, but you also have a dark aura. It's very contradictory, but you don't seem to be a threat." The calm Junimo quickly figured out the situation with Leon and his attitude was no longer resistant.
"Is the dark aura due to returning from the desert mines, or is it the effect of desire control?"
Hearing the Junimos constantly emphasize that there was something about him that frightened him, Leon pondered inwardly, but kept talking, "There's really no threat. This isn't my first time interacting with you. I know some Junimos who are temporarily residing in Stardew Valley. I heard from Abby that you were lost, so I thought I'd come over to check on you and help you out."
"Yuzu is not lost, she is just looking for apples!" When Junimo heard Leon's words, he immediately raised his hands excitedly and retorted.
