A farming master in Stardew Valley

Chapter 587 Familiar Brain Collapse

Chapter 587 Familiar Brain Collapse
But Leon still did not choose to comfort Abigail, but just lay down and planned to rest.

The main reason was that he had just eaten meat today and was still a little restless. If he slept in Abigail's arms, Leon was worried that he would not be able to control his anger. The scene might be very embarrassing, and Abigail would probably be scared.

Just as he fell asleep, Lyon felt the quilt being lifted up, and then a warm and soft thing crawled in. If he hadn't smelled that familiar smell, Lyon would have kicked it in self-defense.

The one who came in was Abigail. At this moment, she thought Leon was asleep, so she acted very cautiously. She gently raised her hand and put it on her neck, then put her face on Leon's chest, and finally put her arm on Leon's belly, with half of her body pressed against his side. Then she stopped all the little movements and closed her eyes in satisfaction.

In the darkness, Leon opened his eyes and watched Abigail's breathing gradually stabilize before he closed his eyes again and returned to sleep.

When Leon opened his eyes again, it was already daybreak.

Nothing happened last night. I didn't hear any noise, and no one came to knock on the door to disturb me. Everything was as peaceful as if nothing had happened.

Glancing at Abigail who was still sleeping soundly, Leon gently moved her arms and thighs away from his body, then slowly pulled out his arm which was numb from under Abigail's neck. After successfully separating himself from Abigail, he went straight into the bathroom to take a shower.

When Leon came out of the bathroom, he saw that Abigail was still sleeping soundly. He did not go to disturb her, but went to the window of the room and looked down.

The window faces the street in front of the hotel and has an excellent view. Early in the morning, Lyon saw a queue outside the hotel. Most of the people were holding a note in their hands. Next to these people in the queue were some fighters with blades and armor, who were looking at the contents of the notes in these people's hands.

"Identification and check-in?"

After watching for a while, Leon understood the reason for the existence of this queue.

It seems that everyone in Element City has already known that Element City has entered a level one combat readiness state. No wonder Cody said yesterday that he was going to make a lot of money. For ordinary passers-by who do not have a fixed residence in Element City and have no connections to leave early, if they want to ensure their safety in this precarious period, finding a local hotel to stay in is the best option.

"What are you looking at?" Abigail also woke up at this moment. The first thing she found when she got up was that there was no one around her. She immediately stood up and looked around, and found Leon standing by the window.

"Look at the current situation in Elemental City," Leon explained, then shared his findings with Abigail.

"Then can we still leave here and go back to Pelican Town?" Abigail was a little worried when she heard this.

"Of course, don't forget who your teacher is. To be realistic, we are now a privileged class." Leon joked to Abigail.

"What about these ordinary people?" Abigail also came close to Leon and asked while looking at the situation outside the window.

"As long as they are honest people, stay in a hotel or somewhere else, and don't run around or mess around, they should be able to ensure their own safety.

I don't think this state of war will last long. After all, the Elemental City is now basically under attack by its entire army. Even if the Lost Mind is good at hiding, he probably won't be able to hide for long."

Leon rubbed Abigail's head soothingly.

"I've read about the Lost Hearts in books, and I've never understood why someone would choose to leave behind a good life and instead join the ranks of monsters, harming and destroying the world that gave birth to them."

Abigail frowned and complained. "People are always unsatisfied. Some crave money, some desire eternal life, and some crave destruction and chaos. Everyone has a different mindset and makes different choices due to their upbringing and the things they've experienced. So I'm not surprised by this."

Leon withdrew his gaze, pulled Abigail to sit at the table, and raised Abigail's hand with the Star Ring.

"I don't know if, in addition to sharing the nourishing effects of forest magic with you, it also shares the forest magic wielder's instinctive aversion to the Lost. But if you ever encounter someone who makes you feel disgusted, angry, or even hateful at first sight, don't hesitate. Either run or use your most powerful magic to give him a ruthless blow."

"I don't know. I haven't encountered the situation you described so far," Abigail replied. "But if I did, I would definitely not hold back."

"But it's better to run first and then contact Lasmodes. After all, the Lost Mind can make the Elemental City, where many powerful people gather, pay so much attention to it. Obviously, there are some dangers that we don't know about. Safety first." Lyon warned.

"Yeah." Abigail nodded in agreement.

"Okay, go wash up. You get up so early in the morning without combing your hair, brushing your teeth or washing your face. Are you still a girl?" After saying this, Leon complained to Abigail.

"Do you hate me for this?" Abigail asked.

"No, but I prefer you clean," Leon added.

"That's more like it." Abigail smiled proudly, then got up and went to the bathroom to wash up.

When she came out again, Abigail had tidied her appearance. In order to check whether Abigail brushed her teeth seriously, Leon took the initiative to kiss her, and finally came to the conclusion that Abigail was indeed a hygienic girl.

Although Abigail rolled her eyes, she didn't show any resistance.

After a wonderful and gentle good morning kiss, the two were just about to find some snacks on the table to fill their stomachs when they heard a knock on the door.

Leon asked Abigail to sit at the table and not move. He then walked to the door and looked through the peephole. When he found that it was Rasmodesmus who knocked on the door, he did not rush to open the door, but shouted through the door.

"How do you prove that you are really Master Rasmodes?"

Rasmodesm outside the door did not speak, but Leon was knocked on the back of the head. This familiar method of teaching a lesson made Leon immediately confirm the identity of the person at the door and opened the door.

When Rasmodes entered the room, he first glanced at the two beds in the room and found that both had been slept in. He then looked at Abigail and Leon, sniffed the air, and found that there was nothing he didn't want to see or smell. His expression then relaxed.

"Pack up, we're ready to leave."

"Yeah." Leon nodded and picked up the backpack and suitcase he brought this time, while Abigail stuffed the snacks on the table into her magic wallet, but because of limited space, she only stuffed most of it.

Lyon packed the remaining half back into his backpack and handbag. Only then did he realize that he had bought too many snacks. The remaining half could fill up half of his backpack, and the rest could be stuffed into his suitcase.
