Chapter 550: First Sight of the Elemental City

Chapter 550: First Sight of the Elemental City

After Rasmodesme finished speaking, he led Leon and Abigail to the teleportation room and found a small compartment with the sign of the Blade Head Guild. Rasmodesme was the first to walk to the teleportation array, activated the magic power on the teleportation array, and then stepped into it.

With a whoosh, Rasmodesma disappeared from the sight of Leon and Abigail.

"You come first and I come first?"

Seeing that Rasmodes had left, Leon asked Abigail.

"I'll go first."

Abigail let go of Leon's hand, stepped onto the teleportation array, and disappeared in the blink of an eye. Leon followed closely behind. The moment he stepped onto the teleportation array, he felt an unprecedented experience. He found himself falling in a passage covered with dreamy mist, but there was no obvious sense of weightlessness. Until he felt his feet stepping on solid ground.

The surrounding environment has changed from a stone basement to a small cabin built entirely of wooden structure.

Rasmodesm and Abigail were already waiting for him outside the cabin. Lyon hurried forward to meet up with the three of them, only to notice that outside the cabin was actually a training ground.

The place was filled with all kinds of armor and weapons, as well as some training targets and dummies. The most eye-catching thing was that under a shady tent, in a large iron cage, there were actually more than a dozen skeletons that Leon had seen in the frozen mine.

But unlike the skeletons in the mine who were just skeletons and had only a pair of worn-out shoes, these imprisoned skeletons were covered in rusty iron armor. Except for the lack of weapons, they were basically fully armed.

"The Skeleton Warriors used by the Explorers' Guild for combat training are high-level monsters from the Crimson Desert. They are much more powerful and dangerous than the ones you encountered in the mines, Leon."

Noticing that Leon and Abigail were both paying attention to the cage of skeletons, Rasmodes helped explain.

"Power and danger are relative. Guardian, welcome to the Blade's Head."

At this time, someone spoke at the right time. The three of them turned around at the same time and saw a strong man walking towards them. His naked upper body had only some scales protecting the important organs, and the exposed skin was covered with all kinds of hideous wounds.

"Roshi, Vice President of the Blade's Head Guild, Commander of the Elemental City Combat Team, and also an extremely outstanding explorer and warrior."

Seeing the newcomers, Rasmodes introduced them to Leon and Abigail again.

"Hello, Mr. Roche."

"Hello, Vice President Roche."

Abigail and Leon greeted the tough guy named Roche together. The difference in address made Roche look at Leon more carefully. "You have a special aura. You must be a warrior who has experienced many battles. Are you interested in joining the Explorer's Guild?"

"I'm already a member." Lyon took out the badge that Malone gave him to prove his identity and showed it to Roche.

"Oh? A newcomer in Stardew Valley, you are the Leon that Malone mentioned, right? Not bad, not bad." When Roche saw the badge, he immediately reacted and walked forward enthusiastically to give Leon a big hug.

"Roche, I need to take them to unpack their belongings. I'll get back to you later."

After Roche and Leon's hug ended, Rasmodes spoke.

"Of course, Bladehead welcomes you anytime, respected guardian." Roche immediately cleared the path to the main hall, not forgetting to express his respect for Rasmodes. Rasmodes nodded, then led Leon and Abigail through the backyard and training grounds to a massive rock-clad hall.

The layout here is very similar to that of the Explorers Guild in Stardew Valley, the only difference is that the reception desk here is semi-enclosed, and there are many tables and chairs placed in the hall. The most eye-catching thing is that in the center of the hall, there is a towering stone tablet with many people's names engraved on it.

"This is the Monument to the Heroes. The names written on it are the names of the explorers who died fighting monsters."

Seeing the stone tablet, Rasmodes sighed and explained.

Lyon glanced at the names on the stone tablet and roughly counted them. There were at least three hundred names.

Leon then stepped forward and bowed to the stone tablet to express his respect. Abigail followed suit. The actions of the two attracted the attention of many people who were busy or resting in the hall, and their originally indifferent eyes now showed a hint of appreciation and recognition.

Rasmodesm smiled when he saw this. Lyon was indeed very reliable at times. Regardless of whether it was sincere or not, Lyon's action this time would leave a good impression on these explorers. In addition, he himself was also an explorer. At least in the Elemental City, Lyon would not be isolated and helpless.

"Come on, we'll go to the western living area and show you your rooms."

After Leon and Abigail finished bowing, Rasmodes asked them to leave the Blade Head Guild Hall together.

After leaving the hall, Lyon was amazed by everything in front of him: the cobblestone road was wide enough for six cars to run side by side, and all kinds of buildings were made of stone, each with its own unique style.

The people flowing on both sides of the street are basically of various races that are completely different from humans in appearance, and there are quite a lot of them. On the contrary, humans are less common among them.

Everything here is so novel and special.

Abigail was very curious about all of this, especially the non-human races, who made her stare at them. If Rasmodes had not been beside her, she would have wanted to touch a passing creature with silver-gray fur all over its body, which looked like a standing groundhog.

"Is this the Werebeast from the Demihuman race?"

After the large humanoid groundhog left, Abigail couldn't help but ask Rasmodes.

"Yeah." Rasmodes nodded and did not leave. Instead, he stood there and waited for a moment. A carriage stopped in front of Rasmodes.

"Guardian, please get in the car."

The person driving the carriage was a human, and the horse pulling it was a scaly rat with spikes on its back. It was incredibly large, about the size of a bear.

"Yeah." Rasmodes nodded and took Abigail and Leon into the carriage. The carriage was fully enclosed with only small windows on both sides. The interior decoration was very simple, but unexpectedly luxurious. There was a whole fur carpet under the feet, and the seats were soft leather sofas filled with goose down. There were even fresh fruits and wine on the small table in the middle of the carriage.

"Eat whatever you want, but don't drink. We still have a lot of things to do."

After getting in the car, Rasmodes gave instructions to Leon and Abigail, then closed his eyes and fell into a doze.
