Chapter 484: No Rejection
Chapter 484: Not Rejecting ≠ Rejecting
"So, are you going back to class tomorrow?"
Lyon continued to ask about the previous topic.
"Well, the next time I get a day off, I guess I'll have to wait until the Flower Dance Festival."
Abigail nodded, then leaned naturally into Leon's arms.
"You should take out the dress I prepared for you and dry it in the sun occasionally, and iron it to make it smoother. Otherwise, when the Flower Dance Festival comes and I see you looking slovenly, don't touch me."
Listening to Abigail's threat, Leon jokingly said: "It's okay, then I'll ask someone else to dance, and they shouldn't dislike me."
"How dare you!" Abigail glared at Leon when she heard that.
"Okay, enough joking. Don't leave later. Come have dinner at my place tonight. What do you want to eat? I'll make it for you."
Stroking Abigail's long hair, Leon whispered to Abigail soothingly.
"It's all right. I like everything you cook." Abigail didn't give a precise answer, but she didn't have any strict requirements, which made Leon a little troubled.
"How about barbecue and barbeque?" After thinking for a long time, Leon glanced at the calendar on the wall and noticed that March was almost over and summer was about to come, so he simply chose the beer and barbecue combination that is essential in summer.
"What is barbecue? BBQ?" Abigail asked in confusion.
“You’ll know when the time comes.” Leon stood up and pulled Abigail up: “Before that, we have to buy some ingredients. Do you want to go together? I’ll drive.”
"But my place is closed today. Are you going to take me to Joja's?" Abigail complained.
"Of course not, we are going to find John." Lyon explained.
"I didn't see John at the banquet today, so he should still be operating."
"That's right. John doesn't like crowded occasions like this. He never goes out except for the Hawaiian party and the Winter Star Feast every year," Abigail recalled.
"Then go have a look."
They left as soon as they said they would. They pulled Abigail out of the cabin and locked the door. Then, Leon and Abigail got into the pickup truck and drove towards Pelican Town.
When passing Pelican Town, Abigail suggested that the passenger seat be laid flat, which made Leon feel helpless, but since Abigail was willing, he let her do it.
But you have to say, this kind of underground love affair feeling is quite exciting.
After passing through the Pelican Town Square, Leon noticed that a piece of vacant land beside the path leading to the eastern area had been transformed. A two-story villa occupied this place for some reason, and there was a circle of wooden fences painted white outside the villa. At the same time, various garden flowers were planted in the open space behind the fence, which looked very impressive.
"Robin is really efficient. He built such a beautiful villa so quickly."
As for this new villa, Lyon naturally knew who it belonged to. He just didn't expect that a few days ago, when he hadn't seen any movement here, a villa had already been built from the ground in just a few days. This construction efficiency made Lyon sigh at Robin's strength.
"Robin said that the new neighbor was very generous, so Robin worked overtime to complete the villa. Robin also said that after this order was completed, she could rest until winter without worrying about living expenses." Abigail shared with Leon.
"Did Robin tell me how much it would cost to build a villa of this size?" Lyon asked.
"No, but it should be quite expensive. Why are you asking these questions?" Abigail asked in confusion.
"I want to prepare a warm and comfortable home for you." Leon replied with a smile. "Ah! Who said I wanted to marry you?" Upon hearing this, Abigail sat up straight and retorted to Leon with a fist in shame and anger.
"Oh? Then I take it back. I'll use it next time I meet a girl who is willing." Leon was not disappointed about this. Instead, he teased Abigail happily.
"No!" Abigail rolled her eyes in anger. "Don't say that."
"You don't plan to live there, so what's it to you?" Leon continued teasing.
"Humph!"
Abigail snorted coldly, then leaned over and bit Leon's arm. Fortunately, she bit him with restraint and didn't really use any force, otherwise Leon would not be sure if he could still drive the car steadily.
"Stop it, I'm driving."
Leon quickly slowed down the car, broke free from Abigail's teeth, then put his arms around her neck, pressed her against his thighs, then twisted his wrist and slapped her on the back of the head.
After the knock, Leon finally let go of Abigail, and Abigail stood up and looked at Leon with resentment, while covering her head.
"You were the one who teased me first."
“You know I’m joking.” Leon complained helplessly to Abigail: “Then why are you angry?”
"I'm defending my sovereignty," Abigail retorted righteously, "What if I don't let you know my stance and you really mess around?"
"How could I have the time? Red Star Farm is in ruins, and I still have to earn money for milk powder and tuition for my future children." Leon rolled his eyes at Abigail and complained.
"Ah?" Abigail froze when she heard that, her face flushed red, and she hesitated for a long time before she spoke.
"Do you like children that much? It's too early."
"It's better to be prepared. Besides, if you have a child, you won't be so heartless as to want to save the world. It's like killing two birds with one stone." Leon explained.
"There's no need to do it so early. I'm not ready yet." Abigail was so confused at the moment that her legs were tangled together. She lowered her head and didn't dare to look at Leon, but she didn't forget to express her thoughts in a low voice.
"Oh, you didn't refuse to have a baby with me?" Leon took the opportunity to complain to Abigail.
"That's right, we're not married yet, why should I worry about this!"
Abigail suddenly realized what was going on, and then she was furious and wanted to teach Leon a lesson, but when she saw Leon still driving and thought of the scene just now, Abigail chose to turn off the engine temporarily.
However, she planned to remember this matter. After all, the teacher said that revenge must be taken, but one can endure it and wait until the enemy is at its most vulnerable time to strike. The pleasure of revenge will be more satisfying than normal revenge, so Abigail decided to find time.
Leon was a little surprised that Abigail didn't express her dissatisfaction to him immediately.
This situation continued until they found John's butcher shop and Leon bought some scraps that made John confused as to whether they could be considered ingredients.
Abigail still didn't get angry until they returned to the farm.
