Chapter 422 Dumplings
Although I had this idea, how to intervene was a problem.

Lyon thought that he and Sophia were already friends, but they were just ordinary friends. If their relationship was very good, Sophia might confess her situation to Leon without Lyon finding out himself.

But now the relationship between Leon and Sophia is really quite ordinary.

If he really wanted to help, he had to be careful not to let Sophia find out that his problem had already been known to Leon.

After all, sensitivity is also a dangerous point for patients with depression. If they easily expose their weaknesses to unfamiliar people, it will easily make them fall into panic.

If he didn't know, he wouldn't care, and it would be much more natural to get along with each other. But after knowing this problem, Leon inexplicably felt an invisible pressure, and it might be inevitable that he would feel stretched when getting along with Sophia in the future.

After thinking for a long time and finding that he was restricted everywhere, Leon couldn't help but frowning. He really wanted to help, but it was hard to say how to help. Sophia was like a dud now, which could explode if not paid attention.

"Oh, it's not easy."

With a sigh, Leon said goodbye to Maru and then returned to the farm. He looked around but didn't see Dawang. When he walked to the doghouse, he noticed Dawang lying inside, sleeping soundly.

"You heartless little thing! It would be great if everyone was like you."

Lyon squatted beside the doghouse and muttered to Dahuang.

Without intending to disturb Dahuang, Lyon went into the kitchen to prepare dinner. He first marinated the beef and chopped the pork into sauce, then started kneading the dough. He was going to make dumplings.

It wasn't a special occasion, I just suddenly wanted to eat it, and by the way, I could let Abigail try this traditional pasta.

Because there were no green onions, Lyon used green onions as a substitute. Apart from the thickness, Lyon didn't taste any difference in taste. It is quite good as a substitute for making pork and green onion dumplings.

As for the marinated beef, Lyon planned to roast it and make it into beef skewers as a side dish for dumplings. Although it was a bit weird, he would eat it if he liked it. Lyon didn't care about the food combination at all.

After a busy trip, Lyon made 120 dumplings and barely used up the pork. These dumplings could not be eaten in one meal, but Lyon would not keep all of them for himself, Abigail and Dahuang. He reserved 70 for himself and planned to divide the remaining 50 into two parts and give them to Sophia and Gus.

Since he planned to help Sophia get out of depression, Leon naturally had to start preparing now. Although he hadn't figured out how to make Sophia completely better, it would always be good to give this poor girl more care and attention. Sometimes delicious food can be a good medicine without being bitter.

Lyon put all the packaged dumplings into his backpack. As for the beef, he left it there to continue marinating. After washing his hands, Lyon left the farm and headed towards Guts's Star Fruit.

It was almost dusk, and Gus's bar was becoming lively. When I pushed the door open and went in, Gus and Emily had already started to clean up the bar. No one was in the bar yet, so it seemed quite quiet.

Seeing Leon appear, Gus immediately put down the rag in his hand, waved to Leon and shouted: "Leon, you are here, what do you want to eat? I will make it for you."

"No, I'm not here to eat, I'm here to treat you to a meal." Leon explained to Gus with a smile, and then took out the dumplings prepared for Gus.

Looking at the novel ear-shaped pasta that was still covered in flour that Lyon took out, Gus asked in surprise: "Is this an unbaked pie?" "No, this is dumplings. They don't need to be baked, they need to be boiled in water." Lyon explained, shaking his head.

"You always bring me something new." Gus stepped forward and took the food that Leon called dumplings. "How should I cook it? How long should I cook it for? Do I need to put something in the water when cooking it?"

"Cook until the dumplings float. Then add half a basin of cold water and continue to cook. When the water boils, turn off the heat, cover the pot, and wait for about two minutes. As for what to put in the dumpling soup, my personal habit is to add a small amount of oil and half a spoonful of salt to the water before cooking the dumplings."

Lyon taught Guts how to make dumplings according to his own cooking habits.

"I'll try it later. I haven't eaten yet." Gus nodded immediately and planned to take the dumplings to the kitchen to try. Emily asked with a smile after listening to the conversation between Gus and Leon.

"Only for Gus, no share for me?"

"Yes, ask Gus to cook some together. How much can you eat?" Although Lyon did not prepare Emily's portion, since she asked for it, Lyon naturally would not be stingy. At worst, if there were not enough dumplings later, he could just let Dahuang eat less. In fact, dog food is quite filling.

"Oh? Then just give me five. I don't have a big appetite, so just eat a little. If I eat too much, I might not be able to fit into my old dresses after a while."

Emily was just going to tease Leon, but who would have thought that Leon actually prepared something for her. She immediately canceled her plan of not eating staple food and only eating fruit at night, but she only tasted it lightly and didn't dare to eat too much.

"Okay." Leon nodded, then went to the kitchen and added ten more dumplings for Guts as Emily's portion. He then helped Guts watch the way the dumplings were cooked for a while, and after making sure there was no problem, he said goodbye to Guts and Emily and left the Stardrop.

After leaving the Star Fruit, Leon immediately rushed to the Blue Moon Vineyard where Sophia was.

In the kitchen, he heard Gus say that Sophia had ordered a Grampton Orange Chicken and would come here to eat in an hour. Leon directly asked Gus to help cancel the order and said that he had also prepared a serving of dumplings for Sophia.

This statement immediately made Guts look at Leon with something strange in his eyes, but in the end Guts still smiled and patted Leon on the shoulder, and talked to Leon about Sophia's likes and taboos, and then he said something specifically to Leon.

"If it's you, I won't stop you. Come on."

Leon realized that Guts seemed to have misunderstood something, but Leon did not take the initiative to explain. After all, if he really explained, Guts would wonder why Leon was so nice to a girl he didn't want to pursue, which would cause a lot of trouble.

And looking at Guts's expression, it is obvious that he is unaware of Sophia's depression problem. Once the situation is explained, Guts will probably fall into the same worries as Leon, which will not be worth the loss.

So Lyon has to take the blame first. As for how things will develop next, we'll see when the time comes.

I took half a day off this morning because I had to send my car to Si's shop for maintenance, so if I don't finish writing this morning, I will go to the company in the afternoon to make up for it.

By the way, let me emphasize that I don’t have depression, and I don’t like muscular men. That was my statement for the young ladies who may appear in this book. Brothers and sisters, please don’t make, spread, or believe rumors.
