Chapter 375: Secret Infiltration? Probably
It was early in the morning and there were almost no people on the road, but Leon did see Pam, who went to the bus stop on time every day. The two of them just greeted each other and passed each other.
When Leon arrived in Pelican Town, he did not go straight to Pierre's grocery store. Instead, he chose to go around to the back of the grocery store, looked at the surrounding environment, and then looked at the fence that was only 1.5 meters high. After hesitating for a moment, he jumped over.
The soil he landed on was soft, and it was then that Leon noticed that behind Pierre's house, there was actually a large vegetable patch, planted with seasonal vegetables, especially parsnips and cauliflower, which occupied most of the land.
On the edge of the vegetable garden, there is a self-built sunroom. The house is made of steel bars and glass. It has good light focusing and strong sealing, which can ensure that the room temperature in the sunroom is maintained at the best state.
Of course, these are not the main points. The main point is that this sunroom is transparent, so Leon can see what is happening inside the sunroom. Caroline, who was watering the flowers in the sunroom, also saw Leon entering the backyard in an unusual way.
Caroline opened her mouth and seemed to say something, but the sound insulation of the sunroom was quite good, so Caroline's voice did not come through. However, Leon understood what she wanted to express from her shocked and surprised look.
Leon quickly waved his hands. Knowing that Caroline couldn't hear what he said, he put his fingers in front of his mouth, signaling Caroline to be quiet. At the same time, he gestured again, pointing in the direction of Abigail's bedroom.
Fortunately, when he came to dinner last time, Leon inspected the room layout of Pierre's living area, so he knew the location of Abigail's room. Otherwise, it would be difficult for Leon to point to Abigail's room and let Caroline know that his target was not her.
Caroline also roughly understood what Leon meant after his actions, especially when Leon pointed to Abigail's room, she couldn't help but laugh.
Then Lyon saw Caroline making an OK sign towards him, and then clenched her fist and made a cheering gesture to Lyon, which made Lyon look puzzled.
However, looking at Caroline's situation, Leon knew that the other party would not choose to call the police, nor would he shout for Pierre to come and catch the thief. Leon breathed a sigh of relief, and then, under Caroline's gaze, he moved towards Abigail's room.
"Young people these days are really interesting. They actually thought of meeting in this way. Was it because I acted too serious that Leon and Abigail misunderstood that I was against their contact? Or was it because Pierre took the initiative and threatened Leon to leave his precious daughter?"
When Caroline could no longer see Leon in the sunroom, she picked up the watering can again to water the flowers in the sunroom, while also muttering about the possibility of Leon appearing here.
But she was just muttering. Caroline had no intention of disturbing Leon's special "meeting". On the contrary, she was curious about what would happen after Abigail saw the unconventional Leon.
However, considering that the two might have many conversations that were inconvenient for others to hear, Caroline suppressed her curiosity. After watering the flowers in front of her, she left the sunroom and called Pierre, who was checking the shelves in the front hall, to come over to prevent Pierre from noticing the noise made by the two little ones.
On the other side, Leon had already reached the outside of Abigail's house. Pelican Town's windows basically did not have the habit of installing anti-theft windows, so Leon did not need to worry about being blocked by the anti-theft windows. However, he did not come here to steal, so he just squatted outside the wall, with only half of his head exposed, observing Abigail's room.
Fortunately for Leon, Abigail did not have the habit of sleeping naked. She had already gotten up, dressed, and sat at the head of the bed with her back to the window, in a daze.
Because he could only see her back, Leon had no idea what Abigail was doing. However, judging by the way she shook her head from time to time, she seemed quite troubled. Continuing to observe, Leon also noticed a large suitcase at the head of Abigail's bed. Judging from the bulging shape inside, it must be full of things.
"Is she planning to go on a long trip?" Leon speculated when he saw the suitcase.
The situation is unclear, and Lyon chooses to continue observing.
Abigail was still lying on the bed with her back to the window. She kept doing this for a long time before she stood up and walked towards the window.
Leon noticed this scene and immediately retracted his head, hiding his body completely under the window to ensure that he would not be discovered by Abigail. He put his ear against the wall, listening carefully to Abigail's movements.
After Abigail's footsteps moved away from the window and he heard the door open, Leon tentatively stuck his head out and looked inside the house. He found that Abigail had left the room, but the suitcase had not been taken away.
"Have you gone to have breakfast?" Leon thought, then stood up and continued to look inside the house. After looking around at the furnishings in the house, he finally noticed some interesting places.
On the desk by the window, Leon saw an opened letter and a folded piece of letter paper. Judging from the wrinkles on the letter paper, it must have been read by Abigail many times.
Leon's intuition told him that what was wrong with Abigail must be related to this letter.
Now all Leon needs to do is open the window, climb in and get the letter, and he will know what happened.
But doing so seems a little illegal, and if he sees something he shouldn't see, he won't know how to face Abigail afterwards.
Just when Lyon was struggling, the piece of letter on the table actually floated up in the windless environment in the room. What was even more outrageous was that the window above Lyon's head was pushed open silently at this moment. It happened that Lyon was squatting on the ground, leaning against the wall with his back to the window, struggling, so he did not notice this scene.
The letter paper was floating, slowly floating out of the window as if being pulled, and finally fell into Leon's hands.
Leon, who was still hesitating whether to break into the house and steal the letter, was stunned when he saw the letter suddenly floating into his hand. He looked up and noticed that the window had been opened at some point. This really made him feel nervous.
Then Leon quickly stood up and looked into the house, only to find that there was no one in the house. He was relieved that he was not discovered by Abigail as he had thought.
