A farming master in Stardew Valley

Chapter 206 Isn’t this bullying an honest person?
Leon was still worried about whether Gus could maintain his ability to move after coming ashore like this, but fortunately Willy spoke at this moment.

"We're almost there."

Listening to Willy's instructions, Leon looked towards the bow of the ship and saw a dazzling red color appear on the sea level not far away, like a flame burning on the water.

As the fishing boat moved at full speed, Leon gradually saw that the flame-like thing was actually a volcano, and it was erupting magma.

Below the volcano is a land covered with dead trees and various huge rocks. This is an island, but this island does not look safe at all.

"Is this the island we are going to land on?"

"No, it's just that we saw this island. We're not far from our destination." Willy shook his head and replied, "This is Death Island, also known as Lava Island. Everyone who sails on the Gem Sea knows there's no need to approach it. Old Hans is no fool. Few people who land on it survive."

"I dared to bring you out because I know the location of this lava island. On Old Hans' map, his treasure hiding spot is near the lava island. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to find the marked spot with just a sea chart that doesn't have any special locations."

"I don't see any islands around." Gus was lying on the side of the boat looking around. Apart from the Lava Island, he didn't see any other islands.

"Who said the treasure must be on the island?" Willy said, and continued to drive the fishing boat around the lava island, and finally stopped on a relatively calm sea.

“The approximate marking location is here.”

After mooring the boat and dropping anchor, Willy took out the nautical chart from his arms, compared the markings on it, and finally spoke.

"The seabed?" Lyon looked at the sea area and couldn't help frowning. After all, if there was an island, it would be convenient to explore, but if it was underwater, it would be troublesome.

"Anyway, this is the marking on the chart." Willy also felt a headache. "Actually, I felt something was wrong when I saw the chart, but when I really came here, I realized that my worries were right. Old Hans really did hide something on the seabed."

"Did we bring diving suits?" Gus inquired.

"No, this sea area is close to the lava island, and the seabed is very shallow. We can go into the water to search without the help of diving suits." Willy shook his head and comforted.

"Together?" Leon looked at the sunset that had merged into the sea level and asked Willy.

"Okay, we'll go down first. It will take no more than half an hour. We have to get on the boat before it gets completely dark. Gus, you can prepare dinner for us on the boat." Willy nodded and began to take off his clothes.

Since they were all grown men, Leon didn't hesitate and took off his clothes quickly. Fortunately, Willy and Leon both tacitly left their underwear on, so they were not too frank with each other.

After taking off their clothes, Leon and Willy stood on the boat together and stretched their bodies. After all, it was easy to have accidents if they went into the water without warming up.

"Without diving goggles, it would be very painful to open your eyes in the sea." Leon reminded Willy as he looked at him preparing to go into the sea.

"Haha, you must have never swam in the Gem Sea." Willy laughed and replied, "You'll understand once you enter the sea."

After that, Willy said again: "I'm on the left and you're on the right?"

Because there was only a circle drawn on the nautical chart, but in the actual area it was a very large area, so Willy proposed to explore separately.

"That's fine with me," Leon replied. "Let's go," Willy said, and then he dived into the sea and disappeared from Leon's sight.

The same thing happened to Leon, except he jumped in the opposite direction to Willy.

In fact, before going into the sea, Leon was still worried that without diving goggles, he would hurt his eyes or feel uncomfortable if he opened his eyes in the sea. But when he really entered the water to try it out, he found that he could see the situation under the sea clearly without feeling any obscurity in his eyes.

I don’t know if it’s because of my physical condition or if diving in this world is just like that, but since I can open my eyes directly in the sea without suffering from the salt in the sea water, Leon didn’t think too much about it.

Because it was already dusk outside, the visibility under the sea was not very high. Fortunately, this area was not deep. Lyon estimated that the sea level was only about six or seven meters away from the seabed, and he could barely see the general appearance of the seabed.

While observing the seabed, Lyon swam forward and had to go out to breathe every five minutes on average. This powerful lung capacity surprised Lyon himself, and he could only sigh that his physical fitness was really good now.

The seabed is basically sand and coral reefs, and there are various small fish that rely on coral reefs to avoid the sky and the earth. These are common scenes on the seabed, but as for where to hide treasures, Lyon really hasn't seen it.

Originally, Leon thought that this treasure trove was either an underwater cave or a shipwreck. These two things should be quite conspicuous on the seabed, but after swimming for so long, he still didn't see either of them.

This made Lyon doubt his own speculation.

Moreover, as time passed, the visibility on the seabed became lower and lower, and the darkness gradually began to erode Lyon's vision. Finally, after he could no longer see the seabed clearly, Lyon surfaced, took a deep breath, and looked at the fishing boat in the distance that had lit its fish lights.

There is no sunlight in the sky at this moment, and the moon and stars are already in place in the deep night sky.

After swimming onto the boat along the fish light, Gus immediately handed Leon a dry towel. After Lyon wiped his body clean, he glanced around the boat and did not see Willy.

"Is Willy not back yet?"

As soon as he finished speaking, Willy climbed up from the stern and replied to Leon: "I'm back now, aren't I?"

Just as Leon was about to ask Willy what he had gained, he noticed an old compass in his hand.

Willy also noticed that Leon's eyes were on the compass in his hand, and began to explain.

"We just found this underwater. It's the compass Old Hans prepared. We still have a long way to go to find the treasure, so let's take a break and have dinner first. We can set off again after we're full."

After saying that, Willy went over to Gus to ask what he had for dinner.

Leon looked at Willy's back, sighed helplessly, and lamented that Willy was not an honest man.

Leon didn't believe that he found the pointer by luck. Either there was information on the nautical chart that he didn't know, or Willy used some special means to make him find the pointer easily.

But no matter which one it was, Willy didn't tell me, but tricked me into going to sea. I don't know whether he did it to cover up the truth or simply to find something to do.
