I am a master in India

Chapter 54 The slide that you absolutely cannot touch!

Chapter 54 The slide that you absolutely cannot touch!

Xiangtu's Indian Hotel was in the Colaba area. When Ron arrived, he was leaning in the lobby looking around.

"Wow, Ron! Nice to see you!" He gritted his teeth, his eyes showing nervousness, and his thin face was serious and sad.

"What's going on?" Ron walked over quickly.

"There's trouble ahead, follow me!"

He took Ron and Anand upstairs, where a waiter was guarding the door of a room facing the main corridor.

Xiangtu didn't say anything, he just waved and waited for the waiter to leave before walking over and knocking on the door.

There was a girl's vague response in the room, which sounded like German.

After waiting for a few seconds, the girl came to open the door. She looked upset, with her clothes slung over her shoulders, exposing a large area of skin.

Ron took a look and saw that her hair was disheveled and covered in lint and something that looked like food.

Judging from the ribs exposed under her thin pajamas, the girl's health is worrying, and the dazed expression on her face, which makes her look almost asleep, also proves this.

But even though she was very impatient, she still gestured to Ron and the others to go into the room with a pleading look and a hint of numbness and fear in her eyes.

A young man was sprawled on the bed, one leg hanging over the edge. He was shirtless, his pants unzipped, and one of his boots still on.

He looked to be about 27 or 28 years old. There was no movement in his chest, no pulse, no heartbeat, and no breathing.

"Is he dead, Ron?" Xiangtu's face looked very unhappy.

Ron didn't say anything. He walked over and lifted the man's eyelids to take a look. The man's pupils had shrunk to the size of a needle tip.

This was the typical symptom experienced by people who'd overdosed on cannabis. It was clear his addiction had plunged his body into a dark abyss, and his face was as blue as the sky at dawn in winter.

"Drag him onto the bed and put a sheet behind his neck." Ron instructed Anand to start working.

"It's a losing business, Ron." Xiangtu said briefly. He stood behind the door with his back against it, preventing anyone else from coming in.

Ron didn't have time to chat with him. He climbed onto the bed, knelt beside the man, and began to perform CPR.

Although this was his first time encountering this situation, Ron was no stranger to it. When he saw the hemp weeds everywhere in India, he realized that this day would come.

Ron had read many emergency manuals before, including Indian versions, which contained instructions for dealing with this kind of situation.

"Blow into his mouth!" Ron ordered.

"What?" Anand was stunned.

"Blow!" Ron kept pressing on the man's heart to make it beat again.

"But he's not a woman?" Anand shook his neck wildly.

"Stop talking nonsense and blow it!" Xiangtu cursed from behind.

"Afterwards, you have to find a girl to relax with me!"

"Okay!" Xiangtu agreed.

With Anand continuously pumping air into the man's lungs, Ron pressed for more than ten minutes before a rumbling sound came from deep in his chest and he began to cough.

Ron lay down and listened carefully to see if he was able to breathe on his own.

The sound was very soft, and his breathing slowed, then became even slower. Then, with a hollow sigh, he stopped breathing.

"Ron." Xiangtu's face turned terribly dark.

Ron didn't stop, he continued CPR. It was very strenuous, but he couldn't stop, because only in this way could he pull the man's limp body out of the long abyss.

While he was rescuing her, the girl fainted twice. Xiangtu slapped her and shook her awake, and after questioning her, he learned that they were in a relationship.

Half an hour later, the coughing sound reappeared. Ron listened and got out of bed tiredly.

"Give him some water, preferably hot water."

"Holy One!" Xiangtu clasped his hands together and prayed. "Mother fuck, who woke me up?" After a series of coughs, the man on the bed slowly opened his eyes.

He was very unhappy and thought that Ron and the others had ruined his dream of paradise.

Anand grabbed his collar and slapped him twice.

He completely ignored the weak man who had just returned from the brink of death.

Ron didn't want to be in this room. He and Anand were sweating profusely, their shirts soaking wet as if they had been caught in a torrential downpour on a monsoon street.

After Xiangtu warned the German couple a few words, he followed Ron and the others out.

"Tell me, what's going on?" Ron took a bottle of Indian Coke from the waiter.

"As you can see, they are having too much fun." Xiangtu's face was full of gloom.

"That doesn't look like hemp," Ron deduced. "Hemp doesn't have that kind of medicinal effect."

Anand and Xiangtu looked at each other without saying anything.

"Wait, they are our guests?" Ron suddenly realized.

"It was a long time ago," Anand explained. "They came to Mumbai two weeks ago, but our contract only lasted a week. You know, some people kick us out once they get to know us."

"But they haven't moved because they can't find a cheaper hotel," Xiangtu added.

"What about those fun things? Were they also introduced by our people?" Ron continued to ask.

"Well, Ron, you know, this kind of business is everywhere in Bombay. Every time we make a deal, the customers and the street vendors give us a commission, which is very generous."

"Listen, Anand. I don't care if you find other entertainment for your guests, but no hemp, especially white one, absolutely not! It's fatal!"

"OK! OK!" Anand shook his head repeatedly. "We didn't get involved. We just leaked some information to them and received the intelligence fee."

"I want to emphasize again to the people below that anyone who engages in this kind of business will be kicked out of our territory!"

Although Ron often walks in the gray area, there is one thing he will never touch, because that thing will cause endless harm.

"Xiangtu, the German couple just now."

"I know. I'll chase them away this afternoon."

Xiangtu and Ron's views on this point were surprisingly consistent. They both knew that sooner or later, this couple would disappear in some corner of this city.

Each time they fell into the abyss, it was deeper than the last time, making it more difficult to pull them out.

"Ron, no matter what, I owe you a favor." Xiangtu shook his neck with lingering fear.

A death in a hotel is a big deal, especially if it's a foreigner. He'd have to pay a fortune to bribe the police to suppress the incident.

That's why Xiangtu just said that this is a losing business and he really doesn't like it.

"I'll save my thanks for later. First, find me a clean room. I need to take a shower."

The sweat slowly evaporated, and Ron couldn't stand the sticky feeling. The awful weather in Mumbai was perfect for lying under a tree without moving.

When he came out of the Indian hotel again, he looked brand new, including his clothes.

This was something Xiangtu had just bought, so Ron accepted it without hesitation as a small gift from him.

"Ron, remember we agreed to go to the slums the day after tomorrow." Anand followed happily.

"Got it. Do I need to bring anything?"

"No, no, just come."

Ron rolled his eyes, that was the sentence again.
