Chapter 41 Tianyan Yijing
The next morning, the owner of the charity cemetery did not call them, but He Yi woke up very early, and so did Li Ming.

After the two woke up, the owner of the charity cemetery appeared at the door like a ghost and said calmly, "Get up, wash up, and then burn incense to the ancestors. You can eat after that."

After saying that, the owner of the charity cemetery turned around and left. He Yi and Li Ming naturally got out of bed quickly, put on their clothes and shoes, and followed him.

When the two of them walked outside, they found that the other owners of the charity cemetery had already prepared utensils for washing faces and brushing teeth, and even had water ready. It was obvious that he was a person with a cold appearance but a warm heart. Li Ming thought so in his heart, and felt a little more at ease.

After the two of them finished quickly, they were taken to the main hall. This time, the owner of the charity cemetery lit three incense sticks and bowed personally. He Yicai followed suit and bowed three times, and Li Ming was even more well-behaved.

The owner of the charity cemetery said nothing, but took the two of them to the dining room. On the table were three bowls of porridge, a plate of steamed buns and a few side dishes.

After he sat down, he gestured for the two of them to sit down and said something.

"Have a meal."

He Yi didn't dare to pick up his chopsticks until the owner of the charity cemetery started eating.

The entire eating process was extremely quiet, with no sound except for the slight chewing sound.

After the three of them finished their meal, He Yi immediately pretended to help clean up.

The owner of the charity cemetery said, "Wait for me in the lobby."

The two of them had no choice but to obey and went to the lobby to wait.

After a while, the owner of the charity cemetery appeared in front of the two of them without making any noise.

"From today on, I will teach you how to read." He said in a very stiff tone.

"What are your names?"

"He Zhong."

"What's the meaning?"

"Loyalty?" The owner of the charity cemetery chuckled softly. This was the first time Li Ming saw an expression on his face.

"Okay, then I'll teach you how to write these two words first. Watch carefully!"

The owner of the charity cemetery turned around, pulled out a small blackboard from behind him, and wrote two Chinese characters on it with a piece of white chalk. He said, "This is loyalty, and this is righteousness. You must remember these words well."

No way, blackboard? Chalk?

Li Ming was secretly complaining in his heart, feeling that this reincarnation world was a bit unorthodox. He racked his brains to think about it for a long time, but He Zhong was only a six-year-old child after all, and he really couldn't understand things about the times.

On the other side, the owner of the charity cemetery took out two books and handed them to the two of them.

"Starting from this book, I will teach you how to recognize the characters one by one. You must memorize them and recite them every morning and evening."

The days that followed were simple.

The owner of the charity cemetery taught them to read and write and recite scriptures every day.

Such as "Tai Shang Ganying Pian", "Heaven and Earth Qingling Mantra", "Jinhua Chonghui Saving People's Lives True Scripture", "Shanghua Tianbao Yuhuang True Destiny Dongche Benjing" and so on.

Li Ming also gradually realized that the owner of the charity cemetery seemed to be a mysterious figure like a Taoist priest, and had some skills. The He family would send people to ask him questions from time to time.

This went on for about three years, and the two of them memorized countless scriptures and mantras.

The owner of the charity cemetery didn't teach them anything else. He just took out different books and asked them to memorize them day after day. But today was a little different.

After getting up early in the morning, the owner of the charity cemetery first had the two of them bathe and change clothes, appearing very solemn and respectful, before going to the main hall. "Burning incense!"

"Oh." The two of them still took three incense sticks each.

"Your Majesty!"

At this moment, the owner of the charity cemetery's voice suddenly became stern.

Although the two felt strange, they had become accustomed to obedience after three years of getting along, so they knelt down without hesitation.

"I'm going to accept you as my disciples today." The owner of the charity cemetery stood behind the two of them. Although his expression could not be seen, one could imagine that he must be very serious.

"Worship the ancestors first!"

The two of them followed suit, but this time they kowtowed three times in front of the statue before inserting the incense sticks into the incense burner.

"Worship me." The owner of the charity cemetery said again.

The two turned around and saw that he had sat on a chair beside them at some point. He tilted his head and gestured for them to take the two cups of tea that had been prepared long ago.

The two of them knelt down again to serve tea.

After drinking two cups of tea, the owner of the charity cemetery finally looked better.

"From now on, you are my disciples. I will give you Taoist names. If you are a He Yi, you will be called Chang Miao. If you are a He Zhong, you will be called Chang Qing."

"Our sect has three major precepts: one is to forbid the indiscriminate killing of innocent people; two is to forbid rape and looting; and three is to forbid the betrayal of the master and ancestors! Can you uphold them?"

"Yes!" they both answered in unison.

"If you violate the commandments, even if you are at the ends of the earth, I will definitely take back all your abilities, skin you alive, and banish your soul to the underworld!" Fuyouzi's face was solemn, and He Yi and Li Ming were shocked and agreed immediately.

Seeing the two's attitude, Fuyouzi nodded, then slowly spoke.

"Our sect is called Yuhua Mountain, and its founder is the True Lord Sanhua. There are twelve branches of true teachings within the mountain. My branch is called 'Tongxuan', and is proficient in divination, astrology, astronomy, geography, and the universe. I understand yin and yang, the creation of nature, and the profound truth of the Dao."

"For the past three years, I've let you eat mountain spiritual food, drink rootless dew, and recite scriptures day and night. Now that you've purified your hearts and bodies, the time is ripe. I'm going to teach you our sect's cultivation method. You must remember every word I say from now on, and never reveal it. This is more important than your life!"

"Disciple understands!" Li Ming knelt down quickly, and He Yi followed closely behind.

"Yeah," Fuyouzi nodded and spoke slowly.

"The Tongxuan lineage cultivates the Tianyan Yijing (Book of Changes). This scripture encompasses everything, implicitly containing the ultimate principles of heaven and earth. Everyone who practices this scripture will comprehend something different. Today, I pass it on to you. How much you learn is up to you."

After he finished speaking, Fuyouzi stood up straight, took out a piece of white cloth from his arms, and gently spread it out in front of the two of them.

But what Li Ming never expected was that there was not a single word on the white cloth, only some strange lines, which could not be considered a painting and did not resemble a picture.

Obviously, He Yi was also confused, looking at the white cloth in Fuyouzi's hand with a bewildered look on his face.

And at this moment, Fuyouzi spoke in a desolate tone, speaking a voice that sounded like that from ancient times, crude and mysterious.

It's clear that I can't understand a single word, but it's extremely attractive, as if it contains some big secret.

As Fuyouzi was speaking, the white cloth in Li Ming's eyes suddenly changed. The lines began to combine freely and began to float and change.

Li Ming's eyes were still looking at the white cloth, but his spiritual world had already changed. He thought about the beginning of the world, the circumstances under which the world was created in the vast chaos, the evolution of all things, the withering of the giant trees that supported the sky, the fighting between dragons and phoenixes, the rotation of the sun and the moon. One after another, related or unrelated pictures were played out in his mind, as if the history of mankind was exhibited in front of him one by one.
