Chapter 92 Knight Bus
The ruins of Lestrange Manor were not far from Malfoy Manor, and since most of the buildings had been destroyed by spells, Lucius Apparated directly here with Coin.

Under the sunlight, the "Lestrange Manor" looked dilapidated, with only ruins left - this scene seemed familiar, as Cohen saw a similar scene at Burke Manor.

However, there were no traces of large amounts of dark magic left here, and because of this, all the valuables in the Lestrange Manor were looted.

The existence of Gringotts is still very necessary, so that people don't end up losing everything after going to jail - some laws in the wizarding world cannot apply to people, because apart from those purely wizarding villages, other wizards live far apart and cannot be supervised at all, which also leads to more robberies and thefts.

"Can you see where the fireplace is?" Lucius looked at the ruins with a look of disbelief. "Everything that can be moved here should have been moved."

He thought that everything here should have been emptied out - because he had also come here to move some things in the past, but after getting the stolen goods, he sold them to Borgin and Burke's.

"That doesn't include wands." Cohen narrowed his eyes.

He could see the emotions and "soul" of the wand - the same thing he had seen in Ollivander's wand shop, a soul without the strength of a soul, very fragrant, but somehow inedible now.

"Found it." Cohen walked straight across the ruins towards the location of the wand's soul.

This piece was obviously hidden by magic, and even people could pass through it.

"The true form is revealed." Cohen knocked the wand where it was hidden.

The spell had a slight effect, and a faint outline of a fireplace appeared for a second or two, then disappeared again.

Cohen tried again—this time he touched it and found something solid.

It’s easier if you have a physical entity.

"Reveal yourself." Cohen cast the spell for the third time.

"Try the Exploding Charm—" Lucius was about to suggest.

"Avada Kedavra!"

A beam of green light hit the vaguely visible fireplace, and in an instant, dirt and rocks flew everywhere. The forbidden magic on it disappeared instantly, and a big hole was blown open.

Lucius sucked in a breath of cold air and unconsciously tried to retreat away from Cohen. The fact that Cohen could use the Killing Curse did not surprise Lucius, because it would have been surprising if the creature from that experiment looked like an ordinary little wizard.

But shouldn't the Killing Curse be used with a strong killing intent towards the target?
Why does Cohen have such a strong desire to kill even a stone?
Is all destruction and ruin in his mind?
"This is more efficient, a blasting spell," Cohen explained, but then he turned around and saw Lucius looking like he was about to run away. "I won't use it on you, don't be afraid, I'm a good person."

Lucius walked back in silence, not because of Cohen's extremely unreliable words "I'm a good man", but because Cohen looked as if he would use Avada Kedavra on him if he dared to escape.

Coin easily retrieved the box containing the two wands from behind the broken fireplace.

"Got it. The rest is up to you." Cohen tossed the box to Lucius. "Go to Gringotts and retrieve the golden cup. Pay attention to the Fire Charms and Duplication Charms on the treasures inside."

"Most of our vaults use these spells—we'll be on guard..."

Lucius wiped the sweat off his face and agreed.
-
Since Gringotts was not affiliated with the Ministry of Magic, Lucius's journey to withdraw the money went smoothly.

Cohen was sent back to Malfoy Manor. Dobby shakily brought Cohen a tray of tea and juice. There was a bandage on his head, as if he was punishing himself for something again - Cohen thought it was a punishment for telling Harry the news last night.

But Cohen was not worried about this - with the experience of the first year, even if Cohen was hanging out with dark wizards, Harry would not be too suspicious. Moreover, Cohen was now more and more skilled at lying, and sometimes he could even deceive himself - for example, when he scolded Voldemort in front of Lucius, Cohen was really disappointed in Voldemort.

After an afternoon tea, Lucius returned with the Hufflepuff gold cup.

[Soul Strength: 25]

Compared to the diary that Lucius gave him yesterday, which only had 10 points of soul strength, the cup was still very nourishing.

"What about the Dark Lord..." Lucius said anxiously after seeing Cohen put the cup into a pocket that exuded a cold and eerie aura.

"I'll tell him," Cohen promised.

Lucius was still too young, and he actually believed the nonsense of a Dementor.

After leaving Malfoy Manor, Cohen had no plans to go home for the time being.

We agreed to a seven-day trip, so it would be a waste to go back early. Cohen planned to explore a lot, and since he had Galleons in his pocket, he only needed...

"Welcome aboard the Knight Bus - emergency transport for wizards in distress. Just hold out your wand hand, step aboard, and we'll take you wherever you wish. My name is Tucker von Braun, and I'm the conductor today..."

A bright purple three-decker bus suddenly appeared and stopped in front of Cohen. The person who introduced Cohen in a bored tone was not Stan Shunpike in the original book, but another elderly wizard who looked exhausted.

"Are you lost?" asked the conductor Tucker, because Cohen looked only about eleven or twelve years old.

"No, I'm travelling - but Muggle transport is too slow, and I don't have any Muggle coins."

Cohen replied.

It was a fact. The pocket money Rose had given Cohen had all been turned into silver Sickles and gold Galleons. Cohen now had only seven pounds of Muggle money on him.

"Looks like a young nobleman." Tucker quipped tiredly with his eyelids drooping - this made him look like a world-weary old man. "What's your name?"

"Draco Malfoy." Cohen picked out a name. No one from the Malfoy family would take this kind of bus, so there was no need to worry about being recognized. "How do I get to the ruins of Burke Manor?"

"It's a bit far... um..." Tucker's head seemed to have been made into a mess by the years of abuse on this bus. "One Galleon Zero... er - plus three Sickles. If you want chocolate, add another three Sickles."

"Okay, let's add a piece of chocolate." Cohen paid for a galleon and six Sickles.

"Take this bed." Tucker stuffed the ticket into Cohen's hand, and then took Cohen to a four-poster brass bed - there were no seats here, and there were six or seven movable beds on each floor.

"Ern-Borgin Hall..." Tucker called to the driver in confusion.

"It's Bock Manor." Cohen reminded him nervously.

No wonder the ticket seller had to be replaced after two years. This old man named Tucker was obviously no longer able to do his job.
