Who let this Dementor into Hogwarts!
Chapter 30: Go find the troll!
Chapter 30: Go find the troll!
"Northumberland, in a manor—tsk, tsk, tsk, where the screams of souls can be heard a hundred or eighty miles away."
The Count recalled the previous scene and made a mocking sound.
"No one dares to live there yet - but for you it should be like going home - pay attention, in the two sentences I just said, Never-lived (no one lives there) and homeland (homeland) happen to rhyme, which is really funny -"
"You can shut up now." Cohen covered his forehead and sighed, "I'll sneak out for Christmas. My parents won't take me to the holiday anyway..."
Northumberland was only about three miles away from the Scottish Highlands. Cohen felt that he could fly there—hopefully without being seen. Muggles seemed to be unable to see Dementors. At most, Cohen would scare a few wizards who caught a glimpse of Dementors in the sky along the way...
The day before Halloween, their Charms class ushered in a historic moment.
After Cohen himself had tried a bunch of spells, his classmates were finally able to learn their first spell.
"That's why I say homework is useless," Cohen whispered to Harry during Charms class. "Homework is the most evil invention in the world."
"Agree." Harry nodded in agreement.
Hermione had barely spoken to the two of them since Harry and the others had escaped the three-headed dog - so when Hermione was asked to sit next to Ron, she didn't look happy.
"Okay, don't forget that subtle wrist move we've been training!"
Professor Flitwick, standing on the pile of books, squeaked:
"Swish and shake. Remember, shake and shake. It's also very important to pronounce the spell correctly - don't forget the wizard Baruffio, who said 's' instead of 'f' and found himself lying on the floor with a bison standing on his chest."
This magic practice was divided into groups of two, and Cohen was lucky to be assigned next to Neville - Neville was at least better than Seamus who was next to Harry, and Cohen didn't have to worry about the feather next to him suddenly exploding.
Cohen learned this spell after practicing it at home a few times, which led him to believe that practicing magic was a very simple thing.
But it seems that for other little wizards, just chanting the spell correctly is already a very difficult task.
"Wingardium, Leviosa..."
His partner Neville had chanted the spell no less than a hundred times, but the feather in front of him remained motionless.
"Please, please, make something happen..." Neville moaned.
It seemed that Neville would rather summon a bison like that "Wizard Baruffio" than wave his wand around like a Muggle.
"You forgot to make gestures." Cohen reminded him kindly, because Neville was really just chanting the spell and didn't move his hand holding the wand.
"O-oh..." Neville responded nervously, and began to wave his wand in the air over and over again to remember the movements.

The pairing of Ron and Hermione at the next table is a classic repertoire——
"You're wrong," Hermione said to Ron bluntly, "It's Wingardium, Levi-o-sa, not Wingardium, Levi-o-sa. The 'ga' should be pronounced long and clearly."
"Since you are so clever, why don't you try it?" roared Ron, who was red and warm.
"I don't know what happened. No one in the classroom was hanging on the fifth floor and bleeding, but someone seemed to have a blood rage." Cohen complained.
"What is 'blood rage'?" Neville asked Cohen in confusion, "Is it a requirement of the spell?"
Cohen nodded in Ron's direction, signaling Neville not to miss this scene, because Ron now looked like his face was on fire.
Hermione, who had just been instructing Ron, rolled up her sleeves, waved her wand and said:
"Wingardium, Leviosa!" Hermione's magic worked at once, and the feather rose from the table.
Now Ron's face looked not like it was on fire, but like it was about to explode.
For the rest of the class, Coin successfully taught Neville how to cast the spell correctly - and now Ron was one of the few young wizards in the class who couldn't make the feather float.
The more anxious you are, the more likely you are to pull your hips when you take a step.
It was not until the end of the class that Ron, in an extremely bad mood, completed the requirements of the class.
"Thank you, Cohen..." Neville thanked Cohen repeatedly while packing up his things after class, "Otherwise I think I would definitely be punished to stay after class..."
"You're just too nervous. The spells and movements are all done well." The kind Cohen comforted.

Cohen swore that he was not showing kindness for the sake of goodwill points.
"By the way, Neville, don't wait for me. I've been requisitioned by Professor Quirrell for next class - if Professor Sprout asks, please help explain."
The other young wizards had already packed up and were ready to go to the classroom for the next class. Cohen slowly packed his schoolbag and said something to Neville.
Cohen had to spend the rest of the afternoon luring the troll to the school.
With the Earl leading the way, Cohen quickly flew to the mountains north of the Forbidden Forest and found the troll's nest built of round stones.
"I can't believe I brought a Dementor to the troll's lair." The Count stopped on the "stone" in front of Cohen. At this moment, Cohen had already released his Dementor form - because he couldn't scare the troll away. "God must be fucking crazy."
"I don't know if God is crazy, but you are definitely crazy."
Cohen looked at the black "stone" under the earl's feet and took a few steps back in awe.
"What the hell!" The count flapped his wings and flew up.
"You are not allowed to enter the Room of Requirement or Gryffindor Tower until you are clean," Cohen demanded.
"How the hell am I supposed to wash my paws!" the Count retorted. "Can't you just cast a spell?"
After dealing with the Count, Cohen began setting up troll traps.
He followed Newt's example and found an old, peeling suitcase from the garbage room of the Room of Requirement. He cast an Invisible Extension Charm and a Strengthening Charm on it - and in the process, he also found the "Ravenclaw's Diadem" hidden in the garbage room.
The soul fragment in this Horcrux has only 20 points of strength, and Coin only needs to upgrade it a little more to eat it - so Coin left it in the "Coin Base" in the Room of Requirement.
Everything went smoothly. Cohen opened the box at the entrance of the troll's cave and transformed the ground at the entrance into smooth marble - so that the troll would slide into the box as soon as he walked out.
Then Cohen walked into the dark cave.
The giant's snoring could be heard faintly from the depths of the cave, and a foul and moldy smell filled the air. Cohen didn't want to go any deeper after taking just one step.
"Thunderbolt explosion!"
