Who let this Dementor into Hogwarts!

Chapter 17 You’ve taken off your pants, are you really going to read to me?

The strange uncle took Cohen out of the auditorium.

The strange uncle took Cohen up two floors.

The strange uncle took Cohen to the office on the third floor.

The strange uncle left Cohen and went to the bookshelf.

The strange uncle took off his clothes——

"Ok?"

Cohen blinked several times.

"No, don't you like it? Mr. Norton..."

Quirrell's restless hands clenched into fists before his throat, and he waited anxiously for Cohen's reply.

If the person in front of him was a little white-haired, red-eyed 2D loli, Cohen would feel more normal...

"That's it?"

Cohen looked at the book "Theory of Metamorphosis" and the stack of "Transfiguration Today" magazines that Quirrell had placed on the table.

What about the evil plan to overthrow Hogwarts?

What about the Harry Potter assassination order?
What about stealing the path map to the Philosopher's Stone?
At worst, try some black magic!
How is this any different than finally getting a date and then walking into the room and giving your girlfriend a Kevin Durant basketball poster instead of Durex?!

Are you planning to discuss with your girlfriend which player’s steals are more impressive?
"Oh, yes, I like it very much," said Cohen dryly.

"Haha, Xi, as long as you like it." Quirrell laughed nervously a few times and said nervously.

Then, Quirrell kicked Coin out of the office, saying it was too late - even though it was not yet curfew for walking around the castle.

"Mr. Norton... Don't open this book in front of your friends," Quirrell stammered. "I'm afraid your friends will be jealous."

It seems that Voldemort, who was shattered into pieces, was not yet so straight as to play hard to get. The book he gave to Cohen must not contain any serious content.

"Don't worry, I will keep it a secret."

Then... Cohen opened the book "Theory of Metamorphosis and Deformation" in broad daylight in the common room.

Apart from Hermione and Percy, no one else in Gryffindor would be curious about books, even if the title of the book was "The Secret Past between the Witch of the Pink Swamp and the Minister of Magic".

Hermione and Percy must be studying in an empty classroom, one while patrolling the other. The only familiar people in the common room are Harry and his friends.

Cohen snuggled comfortably in an armchair near a warm fire that flickered in the fireplace—if the book were enchanted, he could throw it into the fire.

"Coin, what book did Professor Quirrell give you?"

Ron, who was playing chess with Harry, leaned over to Cohen, but immediately looked away when he saw the densely packed words inside, as if words were some kind of devil that could pollute the soul.

"'Theory of Metamorphism and Deformation'. He obviously has some misunderstandings about me." Cohen replied while turning the pages.

Quirrell didn't seem to have cast any dark spell on the book, and Coin was doing fine for now.

But Quirrell hadn't slipped the real "Theory of Metamorphosis" under this cover.

This is a book on black magic, which records many evil magics such as Necromancy and Fiendfyre.

And Cohen also understood why the wizarding world was so shunned the Dark Arts. Their threshold for mastery was practically nonexistent; even an illiterate idiot like Crabbe could unleash them. Their lethality depended solely on the amount of magical power input and the intensity of negative emotions. In other words, they were lethal weapons that even a child could wield, and every wizard had ammunition.

Powerful forces and extreme negative emotions can confuse people's minds, turning them into inhumane demons step by step.

So Cohen started to study the spells in it frantically.

What does bewildering the human mind have to do with Cohen? Cohen is not human - what evil force is more evil than the Dementor species?

I saved a lot of sin points buying spells from the store, thanks to Professor Quirrell for the rocket.

But the book Quirrell gave was incomplete - even the fragment at the end was stuck between the method and effect of a spell called "Exorcist Curse".

No, there are so many things to learn, why not learn online literature?

Cohen closed the book and stuffed it back into his bag.

The meaning of Quirrell sending this book is also very obvious, which is to play hard to get.

When Cohen is enjoying learning these dark arts, a chapter will be interrupted, and then Cohen, who is worried about the cat, will be eager to find Quirrell to ask for the rest. Then Quirrell will know whether Cohen has the potential to join the army of dark magic...

Quirrell, or Voldemort, may have discovered the evil aura or evil soul in Coin, but they obviously did not take one thing into consideration -

The soul living in Cohen's body is not that of a confused little kid. He will not be easily bewitched by dark magic, nor will he shout "Heil Voldemort" and start to go against the entire wizarding world just because he received an introductory guide to dark magic.

It was almost ten o'clock and the little wizards in the common room were yawning. Hermione had just crawled in through the hole in the picture frame with a pile of books borrowed from the library in her arms. Harry and Ron had also finished their last game of chess.

After returning to the dormitory, Cohen curled up in his bed.

Cohen did not run out to peek in soul form tonight. He was worried about the fact that his soul integrity was stuck at 15%.

It may be that after reaching 15%, the weak souls of the fire ash snakes can no longer provide any help to Cohen - this is also reasonable. After all, it is indeed impossible to form a person with just the souls of some fragile small animals.

It seems that Cohen needs to find some stronger souls that live in groups to level up.

Or cause trouble in the castle - as long as it doesn't touch Dumbledore's bottom line, it should be okay to do some pranks like the Weasley brothers, and then earn sin points to buy soul fragments.

The latter is a bit inefficient, but stable, with one thousand points for 1%.

If both are done at the same time, Cohen would prefer to go to the Forbidden Forest by himself first, and when there are really no animal souls to help him level up, he will spend the saved sin points to level up again.

Falling into a deep sleep, Cohen had a dream.

It was a very strange dream. Cohen dreamed that he was in a round and smooth bottle. The bottle was filled with the screaming of souls and other things so thick that he could hardly see the surroundings.

He feasted on the bottle until the screams of the souls died away, the bottle shattered, and Cohen woke up.

The content of the dream becomes rapidly distorted after waking up, and in the end only a few concepts can be remembered.

"Bottle, soul..."

Like my own life experience, the black magic laboratory that created "Cohen"... Do you want to find a chance to take a look?
"Cohen, hurry up! I have to go to breakfast today!"

Harry urged. He and Ron got up extra early today, probably because they were scolded by Professor McGonagall yesterday.

But there is no Professor McGonagall's class this morning.

The first class on Tuesday morning was Quirrell's Defense Against the Dark Arts.
