Chapter 56 Hagrid’s Cabin
Snape's expression instantly fell, and he said viciously, "Mr. Potter, I heard you have some talent for flying?"

Harry replied, "Well, yes, I was able to get the broom to fly on my first try.

If Madam Hooch hadn't forbidden us to fly at that time, I might have been able to fly a broomstick skillfully long ago.

It seems I have great talent and maybe I can become a Quidditch player in the future."

"If I were you, I would throw that damn broom aside!" Snape said sarcastically, "Compared to the vast world of potions, a crude children's game like Quidditch is not worth mentioning at all. You should spend more time learning potions."

Harry shook his head and rejected Snape's proposal:

"Potions are indeed magical. By combining different potions, you can achieve almost anything.

But I still won't give up Quidditch. It's not a rough sport. If Professor McGonagall hears what you said, she will be very unhappy."

The reason why he wanted to be a Quidditch player was to make his identity as the savior more three-dimensional. He needed to be excellent in all aspects, not only a savior, but also a potions master, and of course a talented Quidditch star.

Snape wanted to continue to discredit Quidditch, but he didn't want to be blocked by the elegant old lady, so he could only snort coldly:
"Get out. Now that we're done talking, why are you still here? Do you want to eat slugs?"

Harry spread his hands and turned away.

Poor Snape, he lived his whole life in the shadow of James and Lily.

Lily was extremely talented in potions and became a master of potions at a young age. Snape's current profound attainments in potions may be related to her influence.

James had a great talent for Quidditch, so Snape was not interested in Quidditch. This may be the reason why he persuaded Harry to give up Quidditch and concentrate on learning Potions.

But Snape was still very good to Harry. Being a Potions Master was much more promising than being a Quidditch star.

After leaving Snape's office, we went to the Great Hall to eat.

Harry found Hermione at the Gryffindor table. Unlike Ron, Ron had other friends and would not be lonely even if Harry was not around.

But the studious Hermione was not like that. She was out of place in Gryffindor and was not popular.

This was also the reason why Harry wondered why she was sorted into Gryffindor. Ravenclaw was more suitable for Miss Otter.

Sitting down next to Hermione, Harry greeted, "Good afternoon, Hermione."

"Good afternoon, Harry!" Hermione's eyes lit up when she saw Harry coming.

She really couldn't stand being alone, especially in a bustling auditorium.

Although they were not far apart, it seemed as if there was a wall separating them.

At this time, the wall was broken by Harry.

Harry was her best friend at Hogwarts, and possibly her only friend.

Hermione wondered if Ron counted.

After several months, Harry couldn't help but eat a little more when he ate food made by the house-elves again.

After lunch, at three o'clock, Harry, Hermione and Ron reunited and left the castle and walked across the grounds to Hagrid's residence.

Hagrid is a gamekeeper who lives in a small cabin on the edge of the Forbidden Forest.

The cabin was very eye-catching, with a crossbow and a pair of rubber boots in front of the door.

dong dong dong...

Harry knocked on the door gently, and heard a nervous struggle and low dog barking from inside.

"Wait!" Hagrid's voice came immediately afterwards: "Stand back, Fang."

The door opened, and a familiar bearded man appeared before Harry. He grabbed the collar of a large black hound and let the three of them in.

But there was a hound taller than the little wizard blocking the way, and Hermione and Ron didn't dare to go in.

Harry's eyes flashed with golden light as he stared into Fang's eyes. The ferocious hound immediately retracted its tail and buried its head in its paws, not daring to move.

Hagrid was a little confused about this. Why was Fang so docile today?

The cabin looked very small from the outside, but after Harry entered, he found that the space inside was much larger than it appeared from the outside. This room must have been solidified by the Traceless Extension Charm.

It seems that Hagrid is not as simple as he looks, and he actually uses the control spell banned by the Ministry of Magic without permission.

The cabin was spacious and warm, with many turkeys, pheasants and strings of cured hams hanging from the ceiling, emitting an enticing aroma as they roasted in the fire.

In one corner of the room stood a king-size bed covered with a patchwork quilt.

Next to the bed was a chest of drawers, on which were placed some small objects, including strange stones, animal bones, and some magical trinkets.

In the center of the room is a huge fireplace, in front of the fire are equally huge wooden tables and chairs. The surface of the wooden tables and chairs has been polished very smoothly, and it can be seen that they have been used for many years.

"You're welcome, take a seat." Hagrid let Fang go, poured boiling water into the cup, and took out some rock cakes.

Putting the cup of rock cake on the table, Hagrid pushed the rock cake and said, "Rock cake is delicious. It's my favorite snack. Come and try it."

The rock cake looked pretty good, but Ron almost broke his tooth when he took a bite.

Seeing this, Hermione silently put down the rock cake.

At this moment, she suddenly saw Harry enjoying the rock cake with relish. She was a little confused and took a careful bite. It was indeed very hard.

She asked curiously, "Harry, don't you think it's too hard?"

"It's okay, it's chewy when it's harder." Harry said calmly as he used magic to strengthen his body.

Maybe Yaya was scared at first, because when Harry sat down, Yaya kept lying beside Harry and licking his legs.

Hagrid sighed, "Fang has never been closer to anyone than he is today, Harry. You may have a talent for becoming good friends with magical creatures."

The afternoon was still long, and the four of them began to chat.

Ron and Hagrid unexpectedly got along well. They complained about Fred and George together, but they scolded Filch more.

Hagrid called Filch an old git and said he would teach that damn Mrs. Norris a lesson.

Ron clapped loudly; he also disliked Filch.

While the two were communicating, Harry chatted with Hermione and helped Hermione answer many of her questions.

Suddenly, he found a newspaper under the teapot. It was the latest edition of the Daily Prophet.

Harry picked up the Daily Prophet and read it with Hermione, who leaned over curiously.

It records some recent events, the results of the latest Quidditch matches, some store advertisements, and wanted posters for dark wizards, etc.

Hermione pointed to one of the sections and exclaimed, "Harry, you're in the newspaper again."

Harry looked at it and saw that the section recorded his recent performance at Hogwarts and praised his talent, saying that the savior would surely lead the wizarding world to glory!

Harry nodded. He was really good at judging people.
