Chapter 34 Army Expansion

Chapter 34 Army Expansion
The military meeting began, with Nimrod first listening to the briefing, and Bukayo gave the opportunity to Szczesny.

"My king..."

Szczesny raised his head nervously, and happened to meet Ningluo's dark eyes, and his mind immediately went blank.

He was stunned for a few seconds, and Bukayo pushed him from the side, and he came to his senses and remembered the boy's kind reminder on the way here.

"Behold the feet of our Lord."

Szczesny quickly lowered his head and subconsciously changed his address to follow Bukayo's.

"My Lord, the Seventh Company has taken control of the Piszczek. All aboard have sworn allegiance to you."

"The ship is in good condition and is ready to sail at any time."

"Well done."

After hearing what Ningluo said, Szesni breathed a sigh of relief. He still couldn't understand why it was him, the captain, who came to report instead of the company commander.

"My king, the defense of the Nest Tower has been initially established."

Rawlslev still addressed his master in his own way, even though Nimrod was a god in his heart.

"Also, among the living captives, there are 4,806 who believe that you, who killed the Mad King, are the true spokesperson for Om Messiah. They want to pledge allegiance to you."

Thierry noticed that everyone's eyes were focused on him.

"My Lord, I believe their loyalty comes from the heart."

"Puhaqi led this army by creating a cult of personality, emphasizing his own perfect body and being the spokesperson for the Om Messiah."

"His private army has been indoctrinated for years and has already believed his lies. Now that you have killed the Mad King in front of them, you have shattered their faith."

Thierry was still deeply shocked when he thought of the scenes that happened not long ago.

“So, naturally, they see you as an image created by Puhaqi.”

Ningluo nodded, and he immediately rethought the army building plan in his mind.

Ten seconds later, he spoke.

"I accept their allegiance, Rawlslev. You will immediately select soldiers to fill out the First Regiment."

"Thierry, you will use the Vieira family as a base and select personnel from the surrendered troops to form the second regiment according to the organization of the first regiment."

"Bukayo, you are responsible for forming the third regiment. You can select personnel from the surrendered soldiers or recruit them yourself to form the third regiment."

Nimrod gave Bukayo more freedom. After all, the boy's physique was still within the normal range, and the "Sleepless Ones" did not possess absolute military power like the "Warriors", so forming their own regiment was even more special.

"As you command, my lord."

"Szczesny, you are responsible for forming the Fourth Regiment. Your squad and the remaining prisoners will be your foundation. You will recruit the remaining personnel on your own. Is that a problem?"

Szhesni had the least military achievements among everyone, so Ningluo could only give him the remaining people selected by other captains.

This was also the final test for him. If he did not dare to obey the order, Nimrod would let him continue to be the captain.

Szczesny was stunned. He didn't expect that he would be promoted directly from captain to regiment leader.

Although he was surprised, he didn't look up this time, nor did his brain freeze.

"My Lord, you trust me, and I will not let you down."

"Szczesny, don't be nervous. I won't pick anyone from the captives. Those people are all yours."

Seeing that Bukayo had his own plans, Nimrod approved their distribution plan. After thinking for a moment, he spoke.

"In that case, send the remaining personnel back to Tezwok and order Howard to form the Fifth Regiment."

The five regiments were fully staffed, with a total of 12,500 soldiers. Including the commanders and the armored vehicles that were added later, the total supply consumption was financially affordable for Nimrod, who occupied Tezwok and Lukopo.

What's more, he will conquer two more hive cities. If it weren't for the lack of talent, he would have no problem adding five to ten more regiments.

[We still lack talent!]
When Nimrod thought of this, he remembered the two "Comprehensive" potions that he could prepare, and he looked at Thierry.

"Do you have any technical talent among your staff?"

"My king, I have a technical team of thirty-seven people under my command. Among them, only Wojciech Bielik can be considered a technical talent."

He pulled out a data pad and showed Nimrod the file. "The Belik family has been mechanics for generations, and Wojciech has been around machinery since he was a child."

"He was the one who researched and developed the technology to awaken the spirit of the maglev train and then taught it to others."

"I need his services."

Nimrod decided to keep this man with him and observe him. If his ability and loyalty met the minimum standards, he would train him into a "generalist."

"It's his honor to serve you."

Thierry gladly offered his most capable technician. "I'll send him a message immediately and have him report to you."

Nimrod glanced at the four regiment leaders, "All your regiments must undergo swimming training, especially the Fourth Regiment."

Szczesny gave a wry smile and followed the other three to answer the order. He thought distressedly.

[My Lord is deliberately trying to teach me a lesson. He knows I can't learn to swim.]
A moment later, a middle-aged man in a red robe with white edges and neat short brown hair walked quickly into the palace. He saluted everyone solemnly.

"My king."

"Master Thierry, all my lords, Wojciech Bielik greets you all."

"I heard you're a technical talent. Now I have two tasks for you. One is to repair the cracks on my heavy halberd, and the other is to research waterproof weapons."

Nimrod immediately gave Wojciech a test mission to examine his abilities.

"Yes, my lord."

"Szczesny stays, everyone else leaves."

Thierry's loyalty still needs to be tested, so Nimrod decides to train Szczesny into a Beyonder first.

After everyone left, Nimrod looked at Szesne.

"You seem stressed?"

"My Lord, I'm fine in everything else, but I really don't have any talent for swimming."

Nimrod picked up a book from the table and handed it to Szesne.

"Go to the side hall and read, and wait for my call."

"As you command, my lord."

After Szczesny took it, he found that it was not the military theory book he had thought it was, but a rhetoric book.

He had no choice but to walk to the side hall. Although his background was better than that of the people in the lower nest, he had received basic education at the Holy Temple of Om Messiah and could complete basic reading and writing. However, rhetoric was a field that only nobles, arbitrators, lawyers and other upper-class people needed to study, and he had no foundation at all.

Szczesny felt that today was both his luckiest work cycle and the most distressing one for him. Even so, after he sat on the leather seat, he immediately started reading seriously.

While he was wrestling earnestly with the rhetoric book, he heard the voice of Nimrod.

Szczesny picked up the book and walked quickly into the palace.

He stopped when he was still ten meters away from Nimrod, but the giant walked straight up to him.

Szczesny saw Nimrod's left hand handing a bottle of potion to him, the blue gelatinous substance was like the sea.

"Drink it."

Szczesny took it without hesitation and drank the potion directly.

Half a standard hour later, Szczesny mastered meditation and clairvoyance under Nimrod's instruction.

"Thank you, Lord, for your gift."

The "sailor" said excitedly, and he became more and more convinced that Nimrod was a god.

"Are you still worried about swimming?"

"My Lord, the sea is my home. I want to jump into it right now."

"The opportunity will come soon."
