Chapter 88 Keira Metz
Ivan lightly squeezed his horse's belly and leisurely arrived at the center of Vizima's most prosperous and bustling trade area, accompanied by the crisp sound of its hooves on the cobblestone road.

Unlike the temple area which was always filled with an atmosphere of hardship, the trade area had many luxurious shops and elegant nobles everywhere, as well as many fully armed guards who constantly moved among the crowds, performing patrol duties.

They wore uniform clothing, carried standard weapons on their waists, and kept their vigilant eyes on anyone who shouldn't be in the area.

As Ivan walked along, he felt like a thorn in his back. The guards kept staring at the two swords behind him with suspicious eyes. The closer he got to the center of the trade zone, the more frequent these gazes became.

Many guards had obvious vigilance in their eyes, and some even subconsciously adjusted their stance slightly and took longer steps, as if ready to rush forward at any time to directly intercept Ivan's horse and stop him from moving forward.

Finally, after avoiding suspicious gazes, Ivan finally arrived at the location marked on the map given to him by Weiss.

This is already the center of the trade zone. All the buildings in front of us are extremely luxurious, shining with a soft and noble luster under the sunlight, and the surrounding air seems to be embellished with a hint of nobility.

This is not only the location of the Vizima City Government, but also where all the truly distinguished nobles live. It is the center of power in the entire city.

Ivan pulled the reins lightly and was about to steer Chiyan into this distinguished area when a nimble guard quickly flashed in front of him like a black lightning and blocked his way without any hesitation.

His eyes were icy, and he surveyed Ivan's clothes like a hawk. Then, he raised his chin slightly, his tone filled with undeniable toughness and contempt:
"Homeless man, the place ahead is not for people like you. Go back to your temple area. That is where you belong."

He waved the short stick in his hand, as if he would take action if Ivan dared to object in the slightest.

"In fact, it was a sorceress who asked me to come here to find her, so I ended up in this location." Ivan frowned slightly, then spoke calmly.

"Huh? A sorceress?" The guard was stunned at first, then he threw his head back and laughed. The voice was sharp and piercing, full of sarcasm.

"Look at you, you're so poor! The ground here is cleaner than your body. And you think you can get involved with a sorceress? The sorceresses are so noble. Do you think you can get away with it by making up a random excuse?"

"If you want to find a woman, go find one in a brothel outside! Stop daydreaming here. Do you think you can act like a hero just because you carry two swords? Wake up! In this noble place, you are nothing!"

"Have some sense and get out of here! If I see you hanging around here again, don't blame me for being rude!" He shouted loudly and took a step forward, waving his strong arms, trying to drive Ivan out of the area.

"Okay, okay, don't be so angry, it's not good for your health." Ivan responded while slowly taking out the purse that Roche gave him from the leather bag on his horse's back.

He originally wanted to take out the Blue Guards' pass and ask the guard to let him pass directly, but seeing his bad attitude, Ivan changed his mind.

"What, homeless man, are you trying to bribe me?" The guard saw Ivan's actions. Although he still spoke tough and arrogantly, his originally tense body relaxed a little and his movements became much gentler.

His eyes were fixed on Ivan's purse, a gleam of greed flashing across his face, and his Adam's apple couldn't help but rise and fall. "Let me tell you, we guards in the trade zone are different from those outside. Don't think you can change my mind with this little bit of gold!" "Honestly, I don't intend to do that."

Ivan responded coldly. He gripped the purse tightly, and suddenly exerted force with his arm, swinging the purse from bottom to top at an extremely fast speed. With a sharp gust of wind, it hit the guard's face heavily.

The guard had no time to react. He felt a huge force and his head fell back uncontrollably. Before he could regain his balance, Ivan clenched his fist and punched him in the face again.

There was a muffled "bang" sound, and the guard screamed, his eyes rolled back, and he fell straight on his back on the ground. His limbs twitched a few times and then he became motionless.

"How does the saying go? Money makes the world go round. It seems that this saying is absolutely true. Look, isn't it allowed now?" Ivan raised the corners of his mouth slightly and patted the dust off his hands.

Seeing this, the other guards around immediately clenched their weapons and surrounded Ivan. Ivan calmly took out the pass of the Blue Guards. The guards looked at it carefully, and there was a bit of surprise and hesitation on their faces, and then they retreated.

Without the obstruction of the guards, Ivan finally walked smoothly into the center of the trade zone and came to the door of Kayla's residence recorded on the map.

This building looks even more luxurious than the surrounding ones, and it always shows the noble status of its owner.

Ivan raised his hand, ready to knock on the door of the building. Just as his fingertips were about to touch the magnificent door, he suddenly thought of something and lowered his outstretched hand.

He quickly looked around and walked towards a hidden corner not far away. Then, he reached for the potion belt around his waist, fumbled around for a while, took out a small medicine bottle, and drank it all in one gulp.

Advanced Cat's Eye: Expands the demon hunter's pupils, allowing them to receive more light in the dark, greatly enhancing their night vision. At the same time, they are immune to mind reading and hypnosis.

This is the last bottle of high-grade cat's eye in Ivan's hand. After this matter is completed, he will have to refine a new batch of potions to replenish the stock.

He picked up the red gourd again and took a sip of the lamb wine inside. After the black marks on his face caused by the potion slowly disappeared, he walked out of the corner and knocked on the door of Kayla's residence.

Not long after, the luxurious door slowly opened with a slight "creaking" sound.

A short and slender beauty appeared in front of Ivan. Her height was probably only up to Ivan's chest. She had long light golden hair, soft as silk, gently draped over her shoulders.

She was wearing a translucent white shirt, so thin that it couldn't even hide the small mole on her body. On her chest was a cross-shaped badge made of silver and inlaid with a zircon.
