Chapter 28 Dahuangting

Chapter 28 Dahuangting (Part )
Secretariat,
In the Dingzi warehouse, the office, sunlight shines through the carved window lattices into the room. The fragrance of ink, paper and fireworks are intertwined in the room. Fang Zi'an has a sad face and paces back and forth.

Fu Bin, Fang Yingchang and Tieshan were in the same room. Fu Bin was sitting by the window, flipping through a book. Fang Yingchang was leaning back in his chair, fiddling with the folding fan in his hand. Tieshan had a blank expression on his face, bending over the desk to sort out the piled files.

Fang Zi'an glanced at Fu Bin and the other two and sighed inwardly. Ever since he had won Lu Shang's favor and asked him to take over the position of secretary, Fu Bin and the other two had become increasingly distant from him. He knew the crux of the matter, but for the sake of his future, he had no choice.

Besides, Lu Shang himself is a rare good boss. He does not fight for power or influence. Apart from pushing daily official business to his subordinates and hiding in the library to read books, there is nothing wrong with him.

However, for some reason, Lu Shang seemed to have gone mad recently. He had not slept or eaten for several days, and had been muttering to himself as he kept flipping through the books. He had turned the library, which was originally well-organized, into a mess, with books scattered all over the floor.

Not only that, Lu Shang also ordered the clerk to borrow books from the other three libraries. Now in the Dingzi Library, all kinds of books are piled together in a mess, forming a small mountain.

Upon seeing Lu Shang's condition, Fang Zi'an's heart immediately rose. How could he not be afraid? If Lu Shang had a seizure in the Dingzi Depot, he, a ninth-rank official acting as a secretary, would definitely be torn to pieces by the enraged Duke of Qi.

Lu Shang was the only son of Duke Qi. If anything happened to him, it would be like cutting off the Duke Qi's incense. Fang Zi'an couldn't even imagine what Duke Qi might do in a rage. Looking at the food box that had been taken out of the library, Fang Zi'an became increasingly annoyed.

"Should I go to the Duke of Qi's mansion and tell him that the prince is ill, unable to sleep day or night, and has not eaten a grain of rice or water? I'm afraid that if I say that, I can forget about leaving the Duke's mansion." Fang Zi'an hesitated for a long time, gritted his teeth, and left the office with the lunch box.

------

"This is ridiculous, this is ridiculous, it turns out that the Jinhua secret can be viewed in this way, I'm so stupid, I'm so stupid, why did I only think of it now!"

Lu Shang in the library was not as ill as Fang Zian and others had thought. At this moment, Lu Shang seemed to be crazy, but his mind was clearer than ever before, and the light in his eyes became brighter and brighter.

After discarding the shackles of Taoist thought and looking at the Jinhua Secret from a purely martial arts perspective, Lu Shang suddenly became enlightened. In his eyes, all the obscure meanings of the Twelve Chapters of Jinhua became explanations of achieving enlightenment in the flesh and being reborn from heaven.

According to the Taoist Canon of the Jambu world, Yuanshi Tianzun used the giant body of Pangu to create the earth and the sky 3,200 kalpas ago. The original creator of the Jambu world was actually this Fuli Da Tianzun.

At the beginning of the first calamity, the two great celestial masters, Lingbao Tianzun and Daode Tianzun, were born one after another. From then on, the Three Pure Ones coexisted. After that, Yuanshi Tianzun stopped creating the world during the calamities of Jambudvīpa, so that this calamity was the creation of the world by Laojun.

Therefore, Yuanshi Tianzun's Great Dao of Beginning itself contains the secret of achieving enlightenment through the physical body. To say that Yuanshi Tianzun, who could manifest Pangu's giant body, did not understand the secret of achieving sainthood through the physical body would be the biggest joke.

But Lu Shang's special talent is really amazing. He looks at the Jinhua secret from the perspective of martial arts, and his view is extremely narrow, but he gets the essence of the original physical body practice from it. The whole process is like God feeding him.

"Who says human-immortal martial arts are a dead end? Every living being in the universe has a glimmer of hope, so why shouldn't human-immortal martial arts, a dead end, find a way out?" Lü Shang muttered to himself, his fingers trembling slightly as he flipped through the Shangqing Sect's fundamental Taoist canon, the "Huangting Neijing Jade Sutra" and the "Huangting Waijing Jade Sutra." If the Jinhua Secret was merely theoretical, then these two Shangqing Sect classics offered Lü Shang a glimpse of the future.

The Shangqing School's theory of body spirits claims that spirits reside in every part of the body, and that every part of the body is governed by a mysterious spirit called a body spirit. Each of these body spirits has its own duties and possesses magical powers.

In the Shangqing School's philosophy, the body and spirit are objects that can be communicated with through meditation and other cultivation methods. Practitioners should regard the body and spirit as a bridge to achieve inner enlightenment and true unity with the Tao.

Therefore, the two "Huangting" books of the Shangqing School mostly talk about the method of contemplation of the twenty-four gods of Huangting, and explain the names, duties, and measurement methods of these twenty-four gods, in order to build a bridge and prepare for becoming an immortal or a saint in the future.

This gave Lu Shang a lot of inspiration. Lu Shang had been a human being in two lives, and he might not have the talent for Taoism, but he was bold and daring to think and act. With some creative ideas, he carefully studied "Huangting" and then looked at the Jinhua secret, which actually made him come up with a way out.

The flesh shells of martial arts immortals are so strong that they are called immortals among humans. However, no matter how strong the flesh shell is, it will eventually decay, just as the heaven and earth will also have a closure.

The first sentence of the first chapter of the Jinhua Secret states that chaos is the universe, and that living beings are the universe. Lü Shang, drawing on his own understanding, believed that living beings themselves are a form of chaos, born from the womb of a parent, just as Pangu laid an egg, creating the world and the sky.

The birth of a baby is the birth of heaven and earth. From this point on, yin and yang harmonize, creating a small universe within the human body. If one can cultivate without external help, viewing the physical body as a precious raft for navigating the world, one can view the body's 365 orifices as the 365 constellations, and the five internal organs as the five elements and six harmonies.

The 48,000 orifices throughout the body, the 84,000 spirits within and without, were all measured, visualized, and condensed one by one, cultivating this precious raft of the physical body to perfection and without flaw. Even when the heaven and earth of the Jambu world closed and returned to chaos, the small physical world remained intact and could still exist in the chaotic void.

Although Lu Shang's idea was good, there was still a difficulty that he had to face when he really started practicing. That was that if he wanted to reach the highest level, he had to personally measure 48,000 acupoints and contemplate 84,000 spirits.

The Shangqing sect's two volumes of the Huangting Sutra contain only twenty-four deities. Lü Shang must cultivate forty-eight thousand acupoints and eighty-four thousand deities, destined to spend an infinite number of years to achieve success. Of course, great asceticism will naturally bring great supernatural powers. If he can achieve perfection, he will surely have a place in the Three Realms.

Even if he cannot reach the level of Sakyamuni who ruled the world, he can still be respected as the ancestor of human immortals and the ancestor of divine immortals by the practitioners of the three realms, and be treated as a distinguished guest by the three religions.

You must know that of the 48,000 orifices and 84,000 spirits, the most important are these 84,000 spirits. Each spirit symbolizes a supernatural power, and the 84,000 spirits represent 84,000 great supernatural powers. This kind of achievement is far more than just infinite supernatural powers.

"Human Immortal,"

Lu Shang muttered to himself, this road seemed to have a bright future, but whether it could be traversed or not, apart from the Three Pure Ones, even the Great Luo Heavenly Immortals like the Four Emperors could not give him an answer.
