Chapter 27 One Pot
At this moment, police whistles sounded outside and many plainclothes officers rushed in from the gate.

Through the ring, Sun Zhiwei had seen the documents in these people's pockets. He felt relieved, but remained calm on the surface and did not put down the gun in his hand.

The plainclothes officers had just heard Nannan's whistle and were rushing to the market, but before they even got in, they heard another gunfight. The customers in the mall were rushing out in panic, and they had to squeeze in with great difficulty.

As a result, the gunfight was over. All they saw were three men in uniform pointing guns outward, with a group of people lying around them, wailing on the ground.

"Management Brigade Third Squadron, which department are you from?"

"XX Guard Company is carrying out the protection mission." This was the answer from the young soldier. Sun Zhiwei was happy not to show up anymore and left everything to the guard company.

"Comrade, what's going on here?" a plainclothes officer came forward and asked.

"Just a bunch of Buddhist monks." The young soldier said this and the plainclothes officer understood.

"Haha, this group of people has always been like this. If they can't steal, they'll rob. I've been wanting to deal with them for a long time, but I haven't caught them in the act. Today is a good opportunity to wipe them out."

The plainclothes officer saw Mr. Tan squatting on the ground and trembling. He sneered and walked over and said, "Oh, it's Mr. Tan. Come on, let's go back and have some tea."

"Take them all away." Upon hearing this, the men rushed forward and dragged Mr. Tan and Mr. Buddha on the ground out of the market.

The leader then said to the young soldier, "Comrade, remember to write a statement of your situation when you return so we can explain it to you."

"I understand. I won't make things difficult for you."

After the plainclothes officers left, Sun Zhiwei and the young soldiers also put away their weapons, and the market sweeping ladies began to come out to clean the battlefield and wash the ground.

Judging from her skillful movements, this should not be her first time. However, she used to help victims clean up, and today she is helping the Buddhas. It seems that their actions are much more proactive.

Soon, the market returned to its bustle again. People who were supposed to be shopping were shopping, and people who were supposed to be doing business were doing business. Everyone acted as if nothing had happened.

But it is different after all. Mr. Tan and his gang used to be the bullies in the market. Now that they have been wiped out, the market will be much quieter in a short period of time. The stall tenants will even have to pay less protection fees, and no one will be unhappy.

Sun Zhiwei didn't let go of these Buddhas. He walked to a nearby shop and pretended to check out the goods while asking the owner, "Where is the base of this Mr. Tan and his gang in the market?"

The boss immediately looked around vigilantly, making sure no one was watching before whispering, "There's a management office on the second floor on the east side."

Sun Zhiwei was very satisfied with the news. He saw that the shop sold candies, so he asked the owner to pick out three or four kinds of good-looking fruit candies, weighing ten kilograms of each.

The boss thoughtfully separated the various varieties and packed half a pound of food into a package. By the time Sun Zhiwei took his daughter out, half of each of the dozens of small packages was missing, and he put the other half into his storage space.

Outside the door, the young soldier on guard saw them come out and was about to speak when a candy was stuffed into his mouth.

After fighting side by side just now, the little soldier was obviously much more familiar with them. He didn't refuse the candy when it was given to him. He smiled and put the candy in his mouth.

The three of them, each with a candy in their mouths, strolled slowly through the market.

Sun Zhiwei knew that there must be more than just the power of Buddha in the market. Now that he saw that the surroundings were so clean, it must be that what happened just now had been spread out, and these people were avoiding them.

This was fine, at least it was quiet. Sun Zhiwei walked all the way to the second floor on the east side and found the management office in the corner. The door was ajar, and no one was inside.

Without any hesitation, he pushed the door open and walked in with his daughter and the little soldier.

Inside was a small room with a set of tables and chairs and a cabinet, and a door curtain behind the chairs.

He scanned the area with his ring space and found only various documents and papers scattered around the table and cabinets, but nothing valuable.

So, he went straight to the door curtain, opened it and saw that there was another wooden door behind it, but it was locked from the inside. It seemed that there were still people guarding inside. He made a gesture to the young soldier and pulled out a pistol from his holster.

Of course, a bolt couldn't stop him. He simply used the space door of the ring to shrink into a line and cut through the gap in the door. The wooden bolt behind the door was cut in half smoothly and then fell to the ground.

He had just moved the ring cube to determine the location of the person hiding inside. When the bolt fell, the person inside screamed in fear.

"Come out. Or I'll shoot."

After a while, a short figure emerged from the inner room.

The young soldier stepped forward and pulled the person out. Only then did they see clearly that it was a child. He didn't look even as big as Sun Zhiwei, was wearing patched clothes, and had messy hair.

"Little Buddha?" Sun Zhiwei put away his gun after making sure that the other party had no weapons.

"I'm not." The child choked stiffly.

"Wow, you have quite a temper. How can you not be the Buddha when you are in the Buddha's lair?"

"They asked me to be a Buddhist, but I won't do it. It's a business that harms people."

"Well, those Buddhas were wiped out. If you don't want to be a Buddha anymore, you can leave."

"Ah!" The child didn't react for a moment. When he finally understood, he said dejectedly, "I have nowhere to go."

Sun Zhiwei doesn't care about these things. None of these kids who make a living outside are easy to deal with. You can only believe one out of ten words they say.

Those who are truly honest and upright will never grow up. Look at this child. Although he is wearing rags, there is no black dirt between his fingernails. It is obvious that he is lying.

"Since you have nowhere to go, I will teach you where to go."

"This whole group of Buddhists has been busted. They're in the nearby police station. Go over there now and report them. Tell them all their information, and at least you can get a full meal."

The child was obviously excited. He probably hadn't eaten enough for a long time. When he heard that he could have a full meal, his stomach started to rumble.

"Hurry up and go! You might even be considered a meritorious official if you report it. They might even find you a job. Your information won't be worth anything after this point, so hurry up."

After hearing this, the child ran out quickly.

The young soldier asked in confusion: "Why did you let him go?"

"What if I don't let go? Are you carrying it with you?"

"You can send it to the police station."

"Wow, didn't I realize you were so cruel to a little girl?"

"Oh, she's a woman?"

"Or, if you don't believe me, just chase after them and take a closer look."

The young soldier was a little shy: "I didn't say I didn't believe it, I was just a little worried. It's very dangerous for a little girl to be alone outside."
