Chapter 25: Little Snape? Get him!

"The paths of the stars represent a vast and orderly flow of power in the universe."

"You understand correctly. The different positions and combinations of stars are generally believed to be able to release specific magical fluctuations."

"The moon phases are closely connected to the cycle of magic. Usually, during a full moon, the energy reaches its peak, and during a new moon, a new round of energy accumulation begins."

"Ordinary potion making will not be particularly affected. Wait until you have a deeper understanding of potions."

"When you try to make some advanced potions, you need to consider the movement of the stars and guide the energy of the universe to flow in to improve the effect of your potions."

Dylan got it straight away.

While recording what Snape had said, he began to ask, "I understand that Mercury seems to be related to wisdom."

"Then, Professor, let me give you a simple example. For example, when refining a potion to enhance wisdom, wouldn't a certain situation occur?"

"When Mercury is in a position conducive to the transmission of wisdom energy, the possibility of refining the potion will be greater?"

Professor Snape nodded: "You can understand it that way."

"I still have a little question."

Dylan's pen never stops.

"Since you said that the moon phase is related to energy, besides brewing potions, does the moon phase have any other influence on the process of using potions?"

"For example, if I take a healing potion during a full moon, will the powerful energy of the full moon make the healing effect faster and more thorough?"

"Or, in other words, if I take some curse-lifting potions during the waning moon, will the energy 'released' by the waning moon help dispel the curse more effectively?"

Dylan's question gave Snape a new understanding of him.

His expression was finally no longer cold, but his tone was still as low.

"That's a good question, and I understand it very well. That's the truth."

He explains to Dylan in more depth the effects of the stars in relation to the potion.

Then he looked at him and asked, "Do you have any other questions?"

Professor Snape, who is always cold and icy, actually took the initiative to ask Dylan some caring questions!
"Don't get me wrong, I think since you have a chance to get rid of the troll's brain, I don't mind helping out."

Dylan couldn't help laughing.

He clearly hasn't said anything yet!
"Professor, is there any connection between spells and potions?"

"Or, in other words, can the process of a potion taking effect be compared to the process of casting a spell?"

"Can I make a spell into a potion that can be stored so that I can use it at any time - even when I have no magic power?"

Snape glanced at him.

"Hmph, your thinking has a spark, but your pitiful knowledge reserves are like a leaky old house, which can't retain the flame of knowledge at all."

He said coldly, "Spells and potions are all based on the laws and rules that are summarized by utilizing magical energy."

"Comparing the two is absolutely stupid!"

Dylan was stunned. "So, Professor, what you're saying is that spells and potions are actually two parts with the same effect, but they just combine to form magic?"

"Too much exploration of the essence is just a waste of time."

Professor Snape did not answer, but said this.

Dylan seemed to understand.

But then he thought of his father, who could use magic directly with pufferfish, and sometimes would gather around a crucible and make demons and ghosts leave every day.

"Come to think of it, Dad was able to defeat the devil, so the magic level should not be any worse than the one here."

He couldn't help but mutter to himself in his heart.

I don’t know if his achievement system will give him the chance to unlock magic from other worlds.

A few hours passed in a flash.

Professor Snape saw that Dylan had no intention of ending his questioning.

Doesn’t this little wizard feel hungry?
This is the age when you need to be fed and eat something every once in a while, right?
It’s not that Snape wanted to eat quickly, but that the stupid little wizard Dylan had starved himself.

He stood up. "That's all for today. From now on, I'll set aside some time for you every Saturday, usually in the afternoon."

Dylan was immediately surprised.

He quickly said, "Professor Snape, besides asking you questions, can I ask you to guide me in the process of making potions?"

To prevent this guy from saying anything more, Dylan added something.

"I've pretty much understood what's in the textbook. What I need more is practice."

After Dylan finishes reading the textbooks of each subject for the first time, he will complete his first subject achievement and then receive some rewards that improve his talent or affinity in the subject.

This is also one of the reasons why he was able to teach most of the teaching materials by himself in a short period of time.

"So what textbooks have you been reading? Low-level potions would just be a waste of my ingredients."

He turned to the last page of the notebook with some excitement.

It records the books he has read.

Dylan turned the pen over and counted.

"I've read... Magical Potions and Liquids, A Guide to Potion-Making Techniques, Give Yourself a Carnival in a Bottle, and How Potions Relate to Magical Defense..."

Professor Snape interrupted.

"Have you seen the advanced potion making?"

Dylan nodded. "I've seen it."

"Okay, then let's go look up the precise formula for the advanced potion, and also read the safe use guide for potions."

Professor Snape had already started walking out the door. "Next week, I will teach you how to make advanced potions."

"Yes!"

Dylan responded.

"Do you still want me to invite you out?"

Professor Snape opened the door and stood by it, looking at Dylan silently.

Dylan quickly stuffed his notebook and pen into his bag and hurried out the door.

"Want to have dinner together, Professor?"

"Forget it. I don't have the patience to watch you stuff food into your mouth while you're messing with your pathetic Potions knowledge in your head."

Snape closed the door and walked straight in one direction.

Not an auditorium.

Dylan stood there, shrugged, and then turned and walked towards the auditorium.

He wanted to have a quick meal, and then take advantage of the weekend to read the two books that Professor Snape had specifically recommended to him.

One of the perks of being at Hogwarts.

That is, he no longer has to spend money to buy books, he can find most of the books he needs directly in the library.
