Chapter 40 An unexpected surprise
After driving for nearly an hour, Green finally saw people again.

"I'll just leave you here."

Green stopped the car at an intersection and turned to look at the two people in the back seat.

David was stunned for a moment before he realized what Green was talking about.

He quickly opened the car door and pulled Sarah out.

"Thank you! Thank you!"

David's face was filled with ecstasy at having survived the disaster, as if he had not expected Green to let the two of them go so easily.

Green reached out and took out the package, smiling at the staff who got off the car to check.

"Be more careful next time."

Seeing this, the staff didn't say anything and returned to the car.

Green carried the package in one hand and held Stitch in the other, and walked out of the car rental company slowly.

Only after they were out the door did he quicken his pace and lead Stitch into an alley.

Although he was mentally prepared, when he actually saw what was in the package, Green still showed a bright smile on his face.

"Did you put all this together?"

Green reached out and picked up a golden watch, looking at it in the light.
