Chapter 29 Vampire’s Lair
Chapter 29 Vampire’s Lair
At dawn, Green drove to a manor.
"Is this your lair?"
He turned his head and looked at Selina who was tied up in the back seat.
Selina looked ashen, and her already bloodless face became even paler.
The fact was just as she thought, those tribesmen who were released had no anti-reconnaissance awareness at all.
They left Brown Castle and drove straight to the nest.
With the help of the Night Bat Regiment soldiers' guidance, Green followed behind all the way, and those tribesmen didn't even notice!
"We can be your allies!"
Selina looked at Green, her tone full of pleading: "Isn't your target the Cainites? We can help you deal with the Cainites!"
Hearing this, Green couldn't help but laugh.
"If you betrayed the Cainites, how can I trust you not to betray me?"
Hearing this, Selina's eyes suddenly lit up.
"We can sign a contract!"
She stared at Green intently and spoke quickly, "We have a holy object. Once a contract is signed by dropping blood on it, anyone who breaks the contract will have their soul burned in flames!"
"Oh? There is such a thing?"
Green raised an eyebrow.
"Have!"
Seeing that something was going to happen, Selina hurriedly explained, "Legend has it that the holy relic was taken from the devil by Elder Marcus. I've personally witnessed the oathbreakers who broke their contract turn to ashes!"
Hearing this, Green touched his chin with his hand and showed a thoughtful expression.
Just as Selina felt a glimmer of hope, he suddenly grinned.
"Kill you and everything will be mine."
"No!"
Selina's face changed, realizing she was being played. "You have no idea how powerful Elder Marcus is! When he wakes up, you and those monsters will die here!"
"Wait and see."
Green shrugged off Selina's threats.
He knew that Marcus was the ancestor of Selina's vampire clan.
I also know that Marcus looks somewhat similar to the Night Bats, with a pair of bat wings on their backs.
However, Green would not take an ancestor who could be smashed by a helicopter propeller seriously at all.
"Don't waste your time."
Green glanced at the sky, got out of the car and dragged Selina out: "Next, watch carefully how your people die."
He turned his head, looked at the magnificent manor in front of him, and waved his hand gently.
As he moved, more than a dozen black shadows rose from the ground and quickly rushed towards the buildings inside the manor.
Seeing the shadows transformed from the Night Bat Regiment soldiers rushing into the house, Green looked up at the camera above the door, pulled Selina and pushed the door open.
……
At the same time, the villa in the manor was in chaos.
"What did you say?"
Erica, with her long platinum hair, stood at the stairs, looking at the dusty-looking tribesmen in the hall. "What happened to Kraven?"
"Kraven is dead..."
The one who spoke was the vampire who had begged for mercy in the basement of Brown Castle. He looked at his stunned tribesmen around him, his face filled with sorrow: "Only a few of us are still alive, the rest of the tribe are all dead!"
This news dropped like a bombshell on the crowd, and everyone who was originally chatting in the hall with glasses of wine stood up one after another.
"What happened?"
"Who did it?"
"Where's Selena?"
For a moment, exclamations and questioning voices mixed together, becoming increasingly noisy.
"Enough!" Erica yelled, glancing at everyone angrily: "Let him speak clearly!"
As soon as these words were spoken, the surroundings fell into silence.
Erica is Kraven's most capable subordinate, and the two are said to have an unusually close relationship.
Apart from Elder Amelia who is far away in Western Europe, she is the one whose words are most effective here.
Suddenly, everyone in the hall turned their eyes to the tribesmen who had escaped from Brown Castle.
Soon, based on their narration, everyone pieced together what had happened.
"You mean?"
Erica frowned slightly, holding the handrail of the stairs beside her: "Those monsters have a pair of wings on their backs?"
"Correct!"
"This is impossible!"
Eric slammed the armrest and said loudly, "Are those monsters on the same level as Elder Marcus?"
As soon as these words were spoken, they immediately aroused a wave of agreement.
"Correct!"
"He's lying!"
The vampires in the hall didn't believe what these tribesmen said at all.
After all, according to their description, those monsters have bat wings on their backs and can transform into shadows to move!
This is even more like the ancestor of vampires than Elder Marcus!
For a time, some people even thought that these words were lies fabricated to shirk responsibility.
The vampires who were released by Green were filled with grief and anger. Faced with the questioning of their tribesmen, they had no words to say.
The hall fell into chaos again.
At this moment, a scream suddenly came from the corner.
"what is that?"
The vampire who exclaimed pointed at a shadow on the ground and widened his eyes.
However, his voice did not attract the attention of any of the tribesmen.
Just as he was about to go forward to check, a shadow on the ground quickly rose up and turned into a soldier of the Night Bat Regiment.
The next second, a cold light flashed, and the vampire's head shot up into the sky, bringing up a cloud of blood mist.
At this time, the vampires around noticed the abnormality here.
When they looked at the Night Bat soldiers in front of them with bat wings and a pair of sharp claws, they realized that those tribesmen were not lying!
However, they woke up too late.
The Night Bat soldiers didn't give the crowd time to react as they transformed into dark shadows and charged into the crowd.
They were like hungry wolves entering a flock of sheep. Every time a cold light flashed, a vampire's head was chopped off.
The vampires in the villa had no power to fight back at all. Most of them were still wearing ball gowns and didn't even have any weapons.
In just a few breaths, several piles of ashes appeared on the ground.
Erica, who was standing on the second floor, saw the hellish scene in the hall and her eyes widened.
However, as one of the few remaining elites, she quickly reacted, turned around and ran back.
"I need to wake up the elders quickly!"
This was the only thought in Erica's mind.
No matter whether it is Victor or Marcus, only the power of the elders can deal with those monsters!
Erica was very fast and in just a few seconds she arrived at where the two elders were sleeping.
The switch was pressed as quickly as possible, and with the sound of mechanical startup, two upright luxurious coffins slowly floated up from the ground.
The two elders, Victor and Marcus, are sleeping inside!
When the coffin was supported by the machinery on both sides and lay flat, Erica bit her wrists and dripped blood onto the mechanism of the coffin.
Bright red blood beads flowed down along the mechanism and into the mouths of the two elders.
After doing all this, Erica took a deep breath and walked out without looking back.
She wants to create time for the elders to awaken!
