"boom!"

Smoke of gunpowder rose above the battlefield.

"Kill, for the sake of our God, kill them!"

A barbarian general roared loudly, wearing a mixture of animal skins and iron armor, holding a pair of axes in his hands, and rushed forward with a roar.

A light bullet arrived instantly, piercing the general's head and creating a bloody hole. Another enemy body fell.

In the distance, an elven ranger put down the magic-powered firearm in his hand.

He checked the gun in his hand and sighed, "It only lasted five rounds and it's gone. It's rubbish!"

Although he said this, he still took it apart and put it into his space waist bag, and took out the bow and arrow from it.

With the wind blowing under his feet, he jumped forward and kept pulling the bow in his hand.

His gun was broken, so he could only shoot with his bow from close range. However, the five magic bullets allowed him to accurately kill the barbarian commanders in front of him one by one.

"Earth vein wall, rise!"

On the battlefield, a loud shout was heard at some point, followed by a rumbling sound, and the entire battlefield shook.

The ground cracked, and all the mud and rocks began to squeeze and bulge upwards. It was as if these mud and rocks were being pulled and kneaded by a pair of invisible big hands. A six-meter-high stone wall stretched for several kilometers and rose from the ground.

It firmly blocked the rats' charge route, and there were sharp spikes protruding from the edge of the stone wall, which would cause some unsuspecting enemies to bump into them and be pierced instantly.

"Fireballs!"

Under the guidance of a mage commander, a large number of mages waved their metal staffs.

One fireball after another drew an arc and fell from behind the city wall.

It crashed into the rat camp like a sudden rain of fire, instantly igniting a raging fire and burning all the rats like firewood.

However, more rats were still rushing forward from behind. Those rats, frightened by the flames and unable to stop, were pushed forward.

Their bodies became bridges and flesh ladders to climb up the city walls.

Several dwarves riding griffins were flying in the air, and hammers wrapped in lightning were flying in the air.

With a loud crash, a rat riding a giant bat was smashed into a ball and fell from the sky.

"Bah, you damn rat, you want to fight us while riding a bat!"

The dwarf on the griffin cursed loudly and grabbed the flying hammer with his backhand. As if sensing something, he immediately rode the griffin in a spiral downward maneuver.

Several green lights passed through his previous position, but he just managed to dodge them.

Look around.

There were three giant bats again, but sitting on them were rat priests wearing black robes.

The dwarf knight gripped his hammer tightly, his eyes scanning the enemy in the sky. Taking a deep breath, the griffin swooped down at his command, its wings slicing through the air with a sharp whistling sound.

The black-robed rat priests obviously did not expect the dwarves to react so quickly. Their green magic beams shot at the dwarves again, but only hit the afterimage in the air.

"Come on, you filthy rats!" the dwarf knight roared, his hammer flying out with the force of thunder, heading straight for the nearest giant bat. The hammer head collided with the giant bat's body, a dazzling burst of lightning, and the giant bat let out a shrill scream, plummeting to the ground along with the priest on its back.

Several more flying hammers broke through the air and flew in from other places. Although the rats were numerous, they were not fighting alone.

At the same time, the fighting on the ground also entered a white-hot stage.

Rangers shuttled back and forth on the city walls, shooting arrows like rain at the charging rat army.

From time to time, you can see people holding experimental guns and firing magic bullets.

The Night's Watch Rangers were skilled archers, and each arrow hit the target accurately, knocking the rats to the ground. However, the number of rats seemed endless, their corpses piled up like a mountain, and still more rats stepped on the corpses of their companions and charged forward.

"These bastards are becoming increasingly difficult to deal with."

The "Earth Leyline Wall" still stood firm under the maintenance of the mages, but the warriors who climbed up to the wall to defend it were already feeling the pressure.

Although the fireball spell effectively slowed the rats' attack, the mages' magic power was rapidly depleting. A mage commander waved his staff and shouted, "Hold on! Our reinforcements will be here soon!"

A group of wolf cavalrymen riding war wolves came to support. Their war wolves had thick limbs, their hair stood up like steel needles, and their eyes flashed with fierce green light.

The cavalrymen wore heavy armor, wielded spears or battle axes, their faces painted with totems symbolizing the glory of battle. The leading wolf cavalryman held high a banner embroidered with a roaring wolf head and let out a deafening wolf howl: "For the Kingdom, for the Allied Forces! Charge!"

The wolf cavalry swept in like a whirlwind, their speed so swift that they had charged into the flanks of the rat army in the blink of an eye. Spears pierced the rats' bodies, axes split open their skulls, and the wolf cavalry's attack was like a sharp knife, piercing the enemy camp fiercely.

However, the enemy's lineup was also changing rapidly. Barbarian warriors emerged from the rear of the rat army. They were tall and muscular, holding huge axes or hammers, and wearing armor mixed with animal skins and iron plates.

Their faces were smeared with blood-red paint, their eyes burning with a frenzied fighting spirit. The barbarian leader brandished his great axe and roared, "For our god! Kill them all!"

A large amount of scarlet light began to spread, and not only the barbarians, but even the rats became more and more crazy.

At the same time, the ground began to shake violently, and several huge rat beasts slowly appeared from the back of the battlefield.

These behemoths are enormous, up to ten meters tall, covered in thick shells, and have fangs as sharp as spears.

Every step they take makes the earth tremble, and they spew corrosive venom from their mouths. Wherever they pass, the grass and trees wither, and deep pits are corroded in the ground.

The Elf Ranger stood on the city wall, his brow furrowed. He quickly drew his bow and aimed at the eye of a giant rat beast.

The arrow shot out like a meteor, hitting the target accurately. The beast roared in pain and shook its head wildly, but it did not stop. Instead, it rushed towards the city wall even more violently.

"Shit, the controller isn't on my eyes anymore."

The elf cursed and quickly transmitted the information through the channel.

It's been less than a month and the information is no longer effective.

The weaknesses of these giant war rats were cracked and found a month ago. Now the weaknesses have been repaired, and it has to be admitted that the efficiency of the rats has also begun to improve.

"The leyline walls can't hold!" a mage shouted. Cracks began to appear in the walls as the rat beasts pounded them, sending debris and rocks crashing down. The mages desperately tried to maintain their spells, but the beasts' power was too great.

Seeing this, the wolf cavalry immediately sent a small team to rush towards the giant rat beast.

The leading wolf rider brandished its spear, and the war wolf leaped up, lunging at the giant rat's flank. The spear pierced the rat's armor, sending green blood gushing out. The rat, in pain, lashed out wildly, flinging several wolf riders away.

The barbarian warriors also joined the battle, engaging the wolf riders head-on. Great axes clashed with spears, sparks flying. The barbarian leader laughed wildly and swung his axe at a wolf rider. The wolf nimbly dodged, but the axe still ripped through the rider's armor.

The situation on the battlefield once again became stalemate.

The elven ranger took a deep breath and pulled a gleaming silver arrow from his dimensional pouch. He whispered a spell, and the arrow suddenly became shrouded in a faint layer of moonlight. He drew the bowstring to full length and aimed at the barbarian general's heart.

"This arrow, for victory!" he whispered, and then released his fingers. The arrow streaked through the air, unstoppable force, heading straight for its target.

However, just as it was about to hit, a rat from the shadows jumped out and blocked it.

The arrow pierced the rat and hit its target with its body, but it was no longer fatal.

The barbarian general roared: "Coward of a sneak attack!" He tore the rat corpse off his body, crushed it and threw it to the ground.

In a rage, his head was chopped off.

A Night's Watch assassin retreats back into the shadows.

And at the very core of defense.

Kana, holding the Stone of Creation in his hand, entered the tower. (End of this chapter)
