Chapter 122 Remarks on the launch

Chapter 122 Remarks on the launch
It was put on the shelves, very suddenly.

First of all, I would like to thank Mr. Wutong. Although we haven’t communicated much, he has been recommending the book almost non-stop since the book was published.

My old friends all know that I have been in a very low point in the past few years, so no matter what words I use, they cannot express my gratitude.

This Wednesday, January 1th, Wutong sent me a message asking me about the launch tomorrow, but because I hadn't been on QQ recently, I missed it. It wasn't until the early morning of the 15th that I suddenly had the urge to check QQ and found this message.

It feels like missing out on a billion.

That's why it suddenly became available.

So, as a writer, it’s better to check QQ frequently (laughing and crying)

Back to the book itself, the protagonist is an ordinary person, without any special abilities. His experiences are simply the struggles of ordinary people in the face of the general trend of events. I wanted to write about the protagonist's gradual growth and maturity through a series of encounters, but my writing skills are limited, so the meaning is not as well conveyed, and the plot is not as dramatic.

Would it be better if the protagonist was written as 007 from the beginning?
Whether it's explanation or complaint, there are some things that just have to be said.

I believe, firmly believe and am sure that the vast majority of book lovers have absolutely normal values.

If the protagonist has any sympathy, he is just a bootlicker, as if he has never seen a woman in his previous life.

Any hesitation means that the killing is not decisive enough.

What’s even more outrageous is that some people liked it.

To use an inappropriate example, the inability to help someone who falls is an unavoidable reality; yet, deep down, I actually want to help; this is a fundamental act of kindness and morality. However, if I simply don't have the desire to help, then that's a character flaw. I believe most people experience a similar dilemma between helping and not helping.

Does this mean that everyone is no longer kind, and is becoming indifferent, ruthless, and cold-blooded?
My answer is absolutely no. What are your answers?

We are just blunted by reality, we are not emotionless machines!

I write a novel in which the protagonist is a person with normal values, flaws, hesitations, but also kindness and compassion.

Many book lovers said that the protagonist was not decisive enough and should have silenced the witnesses, saying that this was a poisonous point.

Silencing someone is indeed very simple and easy.

You can check and find that in reality, many police officers shot and killed criminals during their duties, and then suffered from insomnia and nightmares. Many of them could never pick up a gun again.

Can you say the police officers are unprofessional?
Human life is at stake, this is not a joke!

It’s just a simple line of words in the book, but is it really that simple when applied to a normal person?
Don’t talk about murderers, are they normal people?
I believe that at this point, book lovers with normal values have already made their own judgments.

Finally, I must admit that there are many unreasonable things in the book. After all, the author is a human being and it is impossible for him to cover everything. I would like to apologize to everyone here.

But let me try to save face by mentioning those unreasonable points. Imagine if one of the key figures had been infected, wouldn’t it be less unacceptable?
