Chapter 213: Two Similar but Different People (Please subscribe, read, comment on the monthly ticket)
"Gee, gee, gee, go!"

Martin held the reins with both hands and skillfully steered the carriage through the wide mountain corridor.

The corridor built inside the mountain is different from the pyramids after all.

Although the Egyptian pharaohs who fought back hated Martin, the unknown pharaoh, they still chose to demonstrate their authority when building the tomb in the mountain. They almost hollowed out the mountain, and the winding corridors could accommodate chariots.

But is this of any practical use? Absolutely not!
The only function of these seemingly magnificent buildings is to demonstrate the power of the noble priests.

In order to prevent the nameless pharaoh from coming back to life, the pharaohs, priests and nobles of Upper and Lower Egypt wrote vicious curses in every corner of the tomb.

To ordinary people, these curses are just ordinary words.

But when Martin was resurrected and drove the carriage through the corridor, all the spells hidden in the walls jumped out and turned into disgusting creatures such as rats, mosquitoes, flies, and cockroaches, rushing towards the resurrected nameless pharaoh.

"Go away!"

Martin frowned as he looked at the dark text. A grand dusk light bloomed from his body, and those vicious curses instantly turned into screams of terror.

"You lowly creatures, you couldn't do anything to me when you were alive, and now you want to bite me after you die? There's no such thing as a good thing in the world!"

As he shouted, the grand dusk light turned into a fierce dusk fire, and began to burn everything in the mountain tomb following the curse spell.

Dusk is the time closest to death, and everything will fall into darkness.

This is a power that neither Ra nor Horus possesses. It is the blessing that the founder and Lord of Dusk, Atum, voluntarily gave to the nameless pharaoh.

All the Egyptian gods came from the primordial hill, and Atum was the first generation of gods and the first god. He separated his power to create the god of wind and the god of rain. The god of wind and the god of rain combined to give birth to the god of sky and the god of earth, thus creating the world of Egypt.

Even though his position as the Sun God was taken away by Ra, he still possessed the root power of the Primordial Hill.

In the deadly dusk fire, the curses of the Pharaoh nobles were all turned to ashes, and Martin also took back his power.

Martin pulled the reins and turned one bend after another, rushing down the corridor, and gradually saw electric wires and fluorescent lights, which belonged to modern society.

At the same time, the tremors coming from underground became stronger and stronger. The force from underground created cracks on the mountain, which spread outward like a spider web.

Martin heard the screams of people before death in the wind passing by his ears, and became more and more curious about what strange things were buried underneath.

"I shouldn't have killed all those vile spells at once. I should have stopped for a while, read all the murals, and figured out where I was."

Martin muttered softly, but he kept driving the carriage forward without slowing down at all.

It's better to know, and it doesn't matter if you don't know.

No matter who the other party is, Martin will ask for an explanation from him. This mountain does not belong to his family. Does he have any sense of public morality if he messes around so unscrupulously?

Boom!

As Martin moved forward, the tomb dug out from the mountain finally collapsed, and a large amount of rubble fell from the cracks.

No matter how big these stones were, they could not cause any harm to Martin, but they blocked his way forward.

Boom!
Martin did not slow down, he showed the transparent crystal bracelet on his right hand.

Kronos's Chain of Time, a divine device created with all the power of the second generation of Greek gods, was originally tied around Martin's ankle and would have stayed with him forever, but was untied by death and given to Martin.

As a gift from others, the chain did not disappear.

Martin shook his right hand gently, and the colorful light flowing in the middle of the chain suddenly stopped and began to flow backwards. The falling gravel also suddenly stopped in mid-air and returned to its original position along the traces of its fall.

Time has completely different effects on intelligent life and on inanimate objects.

Martin can restore the damaged mountain to its original state with just a wave of his hand, but to return an animal to the state it was a minute ago, he needs to exert ten times the strength.

Using the power of time on a person requires ten times more effort than using it on an animal.

Boom!
When the broken mountain returned to its original shape, Martin grabbed another piece of rubble and threw it to the ground.

With a dull collision sound, the authority seized from Geb, the god of the earth, exerted its power and completely stabilized the mountain.

During the Ninth and Tenth Dynasties of Egypt, only a few of the most powerful Ennead gods remained.

The gods of wind, rain, and sky had long been destroyed in their efforts to change Egypt's climate.

Osiris became the king of the underworld, and only an empty shell remained.

Set was killed by the vengeful Horus.

Horus was killed by Ra, and his existence and power were usurped by the scarab Khepri.

Isis, the goddess of life, was the patron saint of slaves and civilians in Egyptian mythology! Although she would also protect the nobles, when the riot came, she stood on Martin's side.

Horus took the opportunity to resurrect and also stood on Martin's side.

The goddess of houses sided with Ra for her husband Set.

Geb, the god of the earth, possesses the tremendous power of earthquakes. His power once caused all living things in the world to have no space to survive. His laughter caused earthquakes that killed countless lives.

During the battle, the God of Earth and the Goddess of Houses also died. The person who combined their power no longer yearned for the high sky and would rather stay on the muddy land forever.

Those defeated gods also transferred some power to Martin.

After Martin's reinforcement, although there was still terrifying power coming out from the bottom of the mountain, the mountain became stable and was no longer damaged.

"Is there really something wrong with your brain?"

After the stone blocking the passage returned to its original position, Martin saw the female archaeologist and frowned in confusion.

"I don't care about you trespassing into my mausoleum, so I let you go. Why don't you hurry up and save yourself, but run deeper into the depths? Do you think you've lived too long?"

Adriana raised her head with difficulty. She looked at the nameless pharaoh standing in front of her and gave an indescribable bitter smile.

She originally thought that since the convener of this project came for Black Adam, he must have been well prepared and would be able to protect himself.

Who would have thought that the power coming from underground was so strong that it almost destroyed the entire mountain.

Adriana was also buried under the rubble.

If the unknown pharaoh had not arrived in time, she would have been crushed to death or suffocated.

"I"

Adriana wanted to say something, but the injuries caused by the rocks on her body were too severe for her to speak.

Martin stood on the carriage, the screams in his ears became louder and louder, he estimated that more than a dozen people had died. He stopped temporarily, flicked a drop of water, and dropped it on the seriously injured female archaeologist to stop her injuries from getting worse, and then began to slowly heal her body.

Water is very important in Egyptian mythology.

The world in Egyptian mythology was born from the primordial water. From the water came the primordial hill, and then the first god, Atum, was born.

Atum's tears fell on the primordial hill, mixed with dust and created human beings.

"Thank you, generous and nameless Pharaoh!"

Adriana was not an ungrateful fool. She could feel her body slowly recovering, and the first thing she said was to thank Martin.

Martin didn't waste any words and asked directly: "Do you know the people below?"

"They hired me to participate in this project to study this mausoleum built in the mountain!"

Adriana lied with the truth. It was indeed the other party who recruited her first, but she had already wanted to come to Kandak before she was recruited.

Martin knew this trick very well, but he didn't expose the other party. He patted the railing in front of him and said, "Come up, I need the information you know!"

Adriana hesitated: "I will tell you everything I know without reservation. But forget about getting in the carriage!"

"Whatever you say, go ahead!"

Martin wanted to protect this female scholar, even if it was a reward for exchanging information with her. But she didn't appreciate it and was being clever, so he wouldn't insist.

"The person who hired me was Bruno Mannheim of Metropolis America. I have never met that 'gentleman' in person, but they are looking for the last monarch of the ancient Kandak dynasty - Black Adam!"

"According to the murals, this Black Adam possesses the power of a god."

"Oh, so this is Kandak!"

Martin suddenly realized and interrupted the female scholar in front of him.

Black Adam, he was no stranger to this name.

Ten thousand years ago, the magic goddess Hecate spread the power of witchcraft and magic to the multiverse. In addition to the gods, humans also gained such power, and many great wizards emerged who were no less powerful than the gods.

Shazam the Wizard is one of them.

This immortal was originally just an ordinary shepherd boy born in Canaan. According to legend, he met Zeus while herding sheep on a mountain meadow one day. In order to avenge his murdered parents, he won the favor of the king of gods through his wisdom and signed a contract with the gods.

When he shouted out the name "Shazam", he was able to gain the wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the endurance of Atlas, the authority of Zeus, the fighting skills of Achilles, and the speed of Mercury, and became the first wizard Shazam, created the Eternal Council, recruited those immortals and great wizards, and maintained order among mankind.

After fighting like this for three thousand years, old Shazam got tired and began to choose his successor.

Guided by fate, old Shazam found a just, kind and willing-to-stand-up child in Kandak at that time, and he was ready to choose him as his successor.

The chosen child is Black Adam's nephew.

The young heir was influenced by old Shazam and wanted to get the slaves and nobles to sit down and negotiate peace and create a better future together.

At this time, Black Adam killed his nephew, usurped the magic of old Shazam, and the contracted objects changed from Greek gods to Egyptian gods.

Unlike his nephew, Black Adam does not believe in nobility or a bright future. All he wants is revenge.

What he wanted was not the warm sunshine, but the exploding fire that would fall from the sky and burn all the nobles who had killed his family into ashes.

Black Adam succeeded. The little Kandak could not resist the power of the great wizard. All the nobles knelt at his feet and supported him to become the new king.

"According to the murals, after Black Adam ascended the throne, he led his army to expand outward, annexing many city-states, and finally incurred the wrath of Egypt."

"But Black Adam mysteriously disappeared before the capital of Kandak was breached."

Adriana racked her brains to recall the contents of the murals, hoping to cheer up the suddenly silent and unknown pharaoh and not let his anger vent on her.

Martin smiled, of course he knew what was going on.

In order to regain his power, Old Shazam led the Eternal Council to attack Black Adam, but he was unable to sever the contract between him and the gods and could only seal him up.

But these stories only circulated in Martin's mind, and he only said: "This Black Adam is just an ordinary slave after all. He had the opportunity to change everything, but in the end he let his anger control himself and became a weapon of revenge and destruction."

If any other pharaoh had said this, Adriana would have definitely mocked him in her heart, saying that it is the pot calling the kettle black.

But she had seen the murals recording Martin's deeds, and knew what the unknown pharaoh in front of her had done, so she finally lowered her head in silence.

"You can follow me, or leave now!"

Martin got the information he wanted and gave the female scholar two choices.

Adriana hesitated. She looked at the mountain passage that kept shaking but was no longer damaged, and finally made a choice.

"I'd better leave by myself and not trouble you anymore!"

After saying that, the female scholar grabbed her backpack and ran out of the mausoleum without looking back.

Martin did not try to stop him. He waved the reins and the horse galloped forward, passing the last bend and rushing towards the place where Black Adam was sealed.

Black Adam's city was violently sunk and buried under the mountain, becoming a real underground city.

There is no connection between Martin's tomb and this underground city. There is a huge fault, and the two seem to be forcibly squeezed together.

"It's really unbearable!"

Martin did not anticipate this huge fault, and the carriage rushed out directly.

He put away the carriage in mid-air, snapped his fingers, and was lifted up by the wind. He looked at the city below and complained: "Even if this identity today was forcibly pulled from another time point, there is no need to do nothing to make up for it!"

Boom!

The shining thunder illuminated the dim dungeon. A bald strong man dressed in black was moving around in the destroyed city.

Every time he flew up and down, he caused a huge thunderstorm, like a giant dragon tearing the sky apart, biting the fleeing mercenaries and burning them to ashes.

Martin did not join the battle. He always felt that he had heard the name Bruno Mannheim somewhere, so he wanted to see what these mercenaries were going to do.

As for Black Adam, he only had one sentence: "Even if you don't send troops to expand, those pharaohs will not let you go! You don't use the sun to go find Thunder. Don't you know that Thor is an evil god in Egypt?"
