Chapter 38 All My Trophies

Chapter 38 All My Trophies

The eldest brother sighed, pulled out a sharp dagger, and put it to the side of her neck: "Don't worry, I will act quickly, and the pain won't last long."

The cold edge and the bloody breath came towards me, and death was right in front of me without me noticing.

Melissa's beautiful lake green eyes were wide open and her lips were slightly parted, but she was so frightened that she couldn't make any sound.

"Brother!" The short younger brother rubbed his hands, looking all over her, "Such a beautiful girl - it would be a pity to kill her directly. Otherwise, let me use her first?"

The eldest brother sneered, put away the dagger and stood up: "Don't dawdle, have some sense!"

"Don't worry, brother!" The younger brother smiled strangely and reached out to untie his belt: "When have I ever been late for anything? Big brother, turn your back first."

When her clothes were torn off vigorously, Melissa had already given up struggling. She looked around with lifeless eyes and suddenly saw a pair of old leather shoes swinging leisurely.

The glue on the sole of the left shoe was slightly cracked, revealing a gap the size of a thumb.

Further up, a man wearing a strange black sportswear and a crudely made lucky cat mask was sitting on a tree branch more than three meters above the ground.

The dark, bright eyes appeared from behind the mask, showing an interested look.

The standard wild man's attire meant that he was in the same group as those two. The glimmer of hope that Melissa had just felt was shattered.

She closed her eyes, tears silently falling, but suddenly a voice rang in her ears: "Do you need to provide paid services?"

The voice was low and hoarse, and it was hard to tell whether it was male or female.

Obviously she was not the only one who heard this. The burly man and the tall and thin man turned their heads instantly, and the three of them all looked at the lucky cat at the same time.

The latter seemed to have no pressure at all and continued to say to Melissa:

"Rescuing you is one price, and killing you to vent my anger is another price. Of course, if you enjoy it, then just pretend I didn't say anything."

Before Melissa could say anything, the burly man said bitterly, "Lucky cat!"

"It's me, nice to see you again, Brother Bob."

Nan Rong had a very good impression of the two brothers and was looking forward to them preparing more gifts for him this time.

Brother Bob gnashed his teeth and said, "It was you who ruined our business last time! You broke the rule of the wildlings not to mind other people's business first, so don't blame us for being ruthless!"

He pulled out an energy submachine gun from his backpack and pulled the trigger at the lucky cat without hesitation.

"Puff puff puff puff puff!" Energy bombs were shot out continuously, but the jungler called the lucky cat had disappeared.

"Big brother!" Brother Bob pointed behind his brother tremblingly and called out with a trembling voice, and the lucky cat raised its hand and slapped the man to the ground, then picked up the energy submachine gun that fell to the ground and pointed it at him.

"Ahhh!" Brother Bob jumped up instantly.

The purple madder under the snow suddenly emerged as if it had life, quickly wrapped around the lucky cat's ankles, and then struggled to climb up and entwine, and was about to tie up the lucky cat's gun-holding hand.

Brother Bob ran away without looking back. Judging from his speed, his agility seemed to be quite high.

A plant-type extraordinary being, whose agility is comparable to that of a beginner warrior - is it true that the jungler from the ninth-level inhabited star is so resilient?

Melissa's heart was in her throat, then she slowly dropped back down.

The arm of the lucky cat that fired the gun was not affected at all. A short scream was heard in the distance, and the purple madder obediently returned to its original state.

Melissa watched eagerly as the lucky cat collected the spoils: Brother Bob's backpack, the energy gun, the dagger, and a bag of shiny Cowen coins hidden in his waist.

She also pulled out the source energy crystal from the inner pocket of Brother Bob's clothes and put it in her own pocket.

"Wait a minute, that's mine." Melissa reminded the other party in a low voice.

There was a hint of teasing in the lucky cat's eyes.

She gently pinched it and peeled off the flower-shaped metal buckle on top of the energy crystal. She took a careful look at it, then sneered and threw one of the black solids the size of a grain of rice into Melissa's arms.

"The locator is well hidden," she said. "I guess you don't need my service anymore. But there is one thing you need to understand."

She picked up the material storage bag that originally belonged to Melissa and threw it into Brother Bob's new backpack before she put on the bulging backpack.

"These are my spoils of war," she said. "I seized them from my competitors after defeating them. They have nothing to do with you."

"But, but you are different from them!" Melissa bravely said in a low voice: "You are a good person!"

"My dear lady, you can't give out nice guy cards randomly." The lucky cat shook its black ponytail and turned away: "The wild is not a place for you to come. Just consider these things as tuition fees!"

"Wait, please wait a moment!" Melissa shouted, "Can you open the energy lock ring and take me away with you?"

The lucky cat paused: "I never do work for nothing."

"I have money!" Melissa said eagerly, "As long as you send me back to the municipal district, I will transfer the money to you immediately!"

"Heh." The lucky cat shook his head: "You really don't understand the rules of the wild people - we never accept transfers, we only take visible benefits."

"I have!" Melissa didn't want to be left here. This was the wilderness, and anything could happen before her guards arrived.

What's more, the tall jungler just fainted and might wake up soon, and then I would be finished!

"I know where a patch of big-horned kuei grows. They are all high-quality plants that are over five years old, and there are no less than thirty of them!"

Melissa said without hesitation: "That place is equipped with an energy shield, ordinary people can't find it at all. I'll give you the coordinates, and I can even take you there to confirm it. You take me away!"

"Deal." The lucky cat appeared in front of her in a flash. She stretched out her hand and squeezed it lightly, and the energy lock ring opened automatically.

"My arm is dislocated" and she can't move.

"Click! Click!" With two sounds, Melissa's tears froze in her eyes.

"I won't charge you for the treatment. It's a gift." said the lucky cat.

Melissa wiped away her tears and slowly got up: "Can you give me back the wrist terminal?"

The lucky cat threw the thing over casually, raised the corner of his mouth and was about to speak, but suddenly his ears moved slightly and his whole body froze in place.

The next second, her pupils contracted instantly, and she suddenly pulled Melissa up: "Run!"

The strength of the lucky cat was amazing. Melissa felt like she was about to fly, and even lost one of her shoes. But the cat not only showed no intention of stopping, but also ran faster and faster.

A shrill scream sounded behind me, which was heart-wrenching.
