Song Qingshu looked in the direction Guan Man'er was facing. There were sixteen tablets on the altar, from the eldest disciple Xuan Qingzi to Yang Guo, divided into three rows from front to back.

There was smoke rising from the incense burner, but there wasn't a speck of dust on the altar, obviously someone was cleaning it from time to time.

Under each tablet, there is a letter, which has turned yellow with age.

"Master, I have been keeping the letters that the brothers left for you. There are also some other things, all in the box below."

After hearing this, the girl outside the quiet room stood up and slowly walked into the house, took out a vermilion lacquered box from under the altar, and then respectfully presented it to Song Qingshu.

Song Qingshu remembered that the reason why those men in black came to find the descendants of the Guan family might be because of the things in this box.

After the box was opened, various objects were neatly arranged inside, including candied fruits carved from agate, jade and pearls, a small pot made of dark black iron, as well as sheet music, books, and so on.

Song Qingshu sighed in his heart and gently held Guan Maner's hand, his eyes full of his youthful appearance.

"Master, please read the letters from the brothers. They all miss you very much."

Song Qingshu nodded and took down a letter from the place closest to him. It was from his young disciple Yang Guo.

“My dear teacher, please accept my disciple Yang Guo’s greetings.”

"That day, Junior Brother Man'er saw Master transform into a rainbow and ascend to heaven. As a disciple, I was both happy and sad. I was happy that Master had ascended to heaven and was free from all worries. But I was sad that we all had different paths, and I didn't know when I would be able to see Master again."

"Fortunately, Junior Brother Man'er said that Master promised to come back, so I feel better now."

The contents of the letter did not seem to be written in one go. Song Qingshu continued to read and found that it was three years later.

"Master, you have been gone for three years. In these three years, Miss Long from the Tomb of the Living Dead in Zhongnan Mountain has come here twice. After learning that Master had transformed into a rainbow and ascended to heaven, she still wanted to compete with her disciple."

"Ms. Long's Jade Maiden Pure Heart Sword Skill is indeed powerful, and my disciple is really a little dull. I still lost to her the first time, and could only barely fight her to a draw the second time."

"Master, while I was traveling around the martial arts world, I happened to see a divine eagle fighting a giant python in the woods northwest of Xiangyang City. I don't know how many years the divine eagle has lived, and it is taller than me."

"An eagle and a python fought to the death, which was more intense than the ordinary battles in the martial arts world. After my disciple helped the eagle win, it led the way to a deep valley."

"It turns out that there is a big cave in the deep valley. It is the burial place of a peerless master named Dugu Qiubai. Senior Dugu has been in the martial arts world for more than 30 years. No one in the world can defeat him, so he is called the Sword Demon."

"This coincidence allowed me to obtain Senior Dugu's Black Iron Sword Technique and Black Iron Heavy Sword with the help of Brother Diao. In addition, I also obtained the snake gall that can increase my internal strength after taking it. My martial arts have greatly improved."

Song Qingshu watched carefully, as if Yang Guo was standing in front of him and telling him about his experiences over the years. He was unconsciously mesmerized.

"Master, I finally defeated Miss Long with the swordsmanship you taught me!"

Three years later, Yang Guo and Xiao Longnu got engaged. The letter said that they were connected by sword, but not many details were recorded.

The two were married off by Guo Jing and his wife, and all their fellow disciples were present to congratulate them. The only regret was that their master Zhao Zhijing was missing.

Thirteen years later, Mengge led his army south again, and Huang Yaoshi, Hong Qigong, Master Yideng and other top masters all came to Xiangyang to help. At this time, Yang Guo's magical power was perfected, and he fought bloody battles with his fellow disciples and heroes. Finally, he and his junior brother Guan Man'er killed Mengge in the midst of thousands of troops and saved Xiangyang.

"Master, after the war, I, Uncle Guo, and other seniors revisited Huashan. When we talk about Master's demeanor when he won the first place in the world, it is still vivid in my mind."

"That day, I met Master Jueyuan from Shaolin Temple at the top of the Jade Maiden Peak of Huashan Mountain. His inner strength was rare in the world. What surprised me even more was that Master Jueyuan said that he had met Master once in Shaolin Temple nearly 20 years ago."

"Master Jueyuan has a lay disciple named Zhang Junbao, who is young but has an extraordinary bearing. It just so happens that the master and disciple want to ask Xiaoxiangzi and Yin Kexi to return a copy of the Lankavatara Sutra from the Sutra Library of Shaolin Temple."

"I felt that there must be some kind of destiny behind this, so I taught Zhang Junbao a few moves of my Tai Chi boxing to help him fight the enemy."

Seeing this, Song Qingshu suddenly thought of something. If he had killed Xiaoxiangzi and Yin Kexi in Xiangyang or the Jueqing Valley, the Nine Yang Divine Art would not have leaked out of the Shaolin Temple. Then would Zhang Wuji have died from the cold poison of the Mysterious Nether Palm?

"The danger in Xiangyang has been resolved. I have no more desire to stay in the martial arts world, so I decided to return to the ancient tomb with Long'er to live in seclusion. Before leaving, I gave the Black Iron Heavy Sword and the Gentleman and Lady Sword to Uncle Guo's two children, Guo Xiang and Guo Polu, respectively."

"There is an inscription left by our founder Chongyang Zhenren in the ancient tomb. It is part of the Nine Yin Manual. I wrote it down along with my life experience and sent it back to the Zuowang Temple on the Jade Maiden Peak of Mount Huashan."

"I was lonely and helpless when I was young, and I was fortunate to be accepted as a disciple of my master. I will never forget your kindness in giving me a new life. However, I am old and my time is coming to an end. If there is an afterlife, I will repay my master's kindness again."

The content of the letter ended here, and Song Qingshu slowly put the letter away. Yang Guo finally went to the ancient tomb and stayed with Xiaolongnu for the rest of his life. It seemed that he had no regrets left.

"Man'er, Master won't leave. If you feel tired, take a rest."

"Master, Man'er is not tired. I want to accompany you for a while longer."

Song Qingshu tried his best to appear calm and said softly, "Okay, Master will talk slowly, and you can listen slowly to see what your brothers have to say."

Reincarnation and rebirth, Zhao Zhijing and Song Qingshu are not important at this moment. They are just master and disciple. It seems as if they have returned to Chongyang Palace and Zuowang Temple, those most ordinary yet most missed days.

"Master, please accept the respect of your disciple Xue Qingtian."

"Master, please accept the greetings of your disciple Cao Qinghua."

"Master, please accept the greetings of your disciple Xu Qinghao."

"Junior Brother Yang gave his weapons to Hero Guo. Thanks to Hero Guo's kindness, I melted down the heavy black iron sword and recast it into a Dragon Slaying Blade and a Heavenly Sword."

"On the day the sword was forged, Mr. and Mrs. Guo specifically instructed the disciple to write down the secret and hide it in the iron tool that the disciple forged for the first time that year. When the master reads this letter in the future, he will naturally know what it is among."

Each letter and each item contains the things that the disciples most want to tell their master in their lives.

"Master, please accept the respect of your disciple Zhang Qing."

"The Indian monk was ultimately unable to crack the Fairness Sect's strange poison, so the five disciples decided to go to the Western Regions to eliminate this great threat."

"After three years of searching in the desert, I finally found some clues. It turns out that the Gongping Sect is related to the Ming Sect that was introduced to China during the Tang Dynasty and rebelled during the reign of Emperor Huizong of this dynasty." (End of this chapter)
