This book will be on the shelves at 12 o'clock tonight. As I said in the comments section, this is my first book. I wrote this book because I resonated with the story in it when I was playing Dark Horse, so I thought about writing one myself.

At the beginning, I wanted to start writing from Journey to the West, but the beginning was not smooth. The main reason was that I couldn’t think of how the protagonist of the Journey to the West timeline could escape the control of the gods and Buddhas without giving the system.

So I moved the timeline forward and chose the prehistoric times as the entry point.

As for the protagonist's background and the path he chose, I had this idea many years ago. When I was reading Honghuang novels, I thought about it. If the Pure World White Lotus transformed and then practiced the Devouring Dao, wouldn't it be possible to improve my cultivation by eating all the time?

Then I asked an author friend to help me make an outline, and after the outline was ready I started writing.

To be fair, I didn’t have high expectations for this book at first, but then it received good recommendations and I felt like I was about to take off.

But soon I encountered my first bad luck. During the National Day, Qidian’s intelligent release had problems. I happened to have published 10 words at that time, so I didn’t benefit from the biggest recommendation mechanism for new books. I lost at least 3000 collections.

But the good news is that no one is smart enough to push a large number of posts. The bad news is that I am a complete newcomer without a fan base, so it will be difficult for me to make further progress.

What made me feel even more uncomfortable was that there were quite a few people complaining in the comment section during those days. I was too sensitive to tolerate this, and on impulse, I deleted nearly 30 comments.

Just when I was feeling depressed, I suddenly received a message from the editor saying that I was on the verge of being deleted. My first reaction was regret that I shouldn’t have deleted so many comments. I asked the editor if I could restore them, but the editor said no. I was so sad that I couldn’t even cry.

This is the end of my story of writing the book, and now I would like to express my gratitude.
