Chapter 544: The overseas ancient books obtained by the Zhou family, the impact after the broadcast

Chapter 544: The overseas ancient books obtained by the Zhou family, the impact after the broadcast of "News Network" (Monthly Ticket Plus)

After hearing that the deal was basically done, Fangyan immediately went into the ward.

After checking the couple, it was confirmed that everything was normal.

The dean then said that from now on their diet here would be taken care of by Union Hospital. Samples of the food would be kept every day to identify the person responsible for the food, so that they can be checked at any time later.

Hu Daohu and Huang Huijie were very satisfied with Union Hospital's attitude and immediately said that they would definitely thank the hospital as long as they could get pregnant successfully.

However, unlike Lao Zhou who just waved his hand, they did not express their gratitude clearly.

But this is enough for the dean, all he wants is an attitude.

Once the news gets out, it will attract more people back.

It doesn’t matter if the two of them don’t contribute anything in the future, not even paying for food, because the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office’s work has been done anyway.

Then Fangyan gave the doctor's instructions again.

In order to recover sooner, the couple has imposed strict restrictions on their diet and rest.

Especially Huang Huijie. When the nurse was making rounds last night, they were still awake at two in the morning.

I don’t know what the couple was discussing in the middle of the night.

They usually live in Nanyang, so there shouldn't be much time difference. Not being able to sleep in the middle of the night is purely due to their previous living habits.

After all, she is an elderly mother now, not a young girl anymore. If she wants to recover and get pregnant soon, it is better for her not to stay up late like young people do.

Moreover, in this era, most people in Southeast Asia still have normal daily routines.

Only rich people like them would stay up so late.

Kerosene lamps, candles or electric lights also cost money.

After giving instructions to the couple, Fang Yan, the dean and Secretary Xia left the ward.

After Secretary Xia went out, he told Fang Yan about Hu Rou's complaint.

After she left last night, she still went to the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office to file a complaint, and the person she contacted at that time was Secretary Xia.

Secretary Xia is familiar with Fangyan and trusts Fangyan more.

So he calmed Hu Rou down first, and then called the dean to confirm.

Fang Yan happened to greet the dean, and the dean explained everything clearly over the phone, so Secretary Xia started playing Tai Chi with Hu Rou, saying that it was too late and she could only get a reply the next day.

Then this morning he came over to ask about Hu Daohu's attitude. After figuring out the situation here, he now knew what to do.

Fang Yan thought of that crazy guy Hu Rou, frowned slightly and asked:
"So you're sending him away now?"

If this woman was kicked out, she might spread the word outside, saying that she was treated unfairly and wanted to ruin the whole thing.

Just as I was about to remind Secretary Xia, I heard Secretary Xia say:
"Since Mr. Hu doesn't want to see any relatives, we will definitely respect his opinion. However, the capital is so big that it can accommodate them. If they want to stay here, it's fine, but they will be under our supervision at all times."

"After all, kicking them out will have a bad influence."

After hearing this, Fangyan knew that his worries were unnecessary. Secretary Xia and the others were professionals in foreign affairs and knew what to do to ensure a smooth and stable situation.

After seeing Secretary Xia off, Lao Zhou and his wife returned from the airport.

This time I brought a suitcase of books from abroad.

In addition to the books that are still available in China, there are also two complete sets of lost books.

This is:
A book of medical prescriptions compiled by Fang Dao in the Southern Song Dynasty: "Fang's Collection of Essential Prescriptions", Volumes 1 and 2.

A seven-volume work on pulse diagnosis by Zhang Yuansu, one of the four great doctors of Jin and Yuan Dynasties, and his son Zhang Bihe.

The first volume, Fangshi Bianleijiazangji Yaofang, was said to have been lost after the Battle of Yashan, and was later discovered in Japan. The two volumes in Fangyan's hand are modern Song Dynasty manuscripts copied from the Imperial Household Agency's Books and Mausoleums Department in Japan.

"Jie Gu's Commentary on Pulse Secrets" is one of the representative works of Zhang Yuansu of the Jin Dynasty. It has long been lost in China. Only volumes 5 to 7 were excerpted by Du Sijing of the Yuan Dynasty and included in "Ji Sheng Bacui", named "Yun Qi Zi's Seven Biao, Eight Li and Nine Dao Pulse Secrets Theory and Treatment Methods". The full version of the book is still preserved in modern Japan.

This complete version of seven volumes was collected by the Japanese themselves. It contains manuscripts from various dynasties. The seven volumes are the product of several eras.

This set of books mainly takes the form of annotations on the "Mai Jue" attributed to Wang Shuhe, and provides in-depth explanation and interpretation of the pulse patterns and pulse theories in the "Mai Jue". During the annotation process, Zhang Yuansu not only quoted theories from classic works such as "Su Wen" and "Nan Jing", but also put forward his own insights and innovations.

After hearing Fangyan confirm that there were two books that were not available in China, Lao Zhou happily said to Fangyan:

"Haha, Doctor Fang, what a coincidence! This Fang's Collection of Essential Prescriptions was only recently filmed. Speaking of which, this Fang Dao from the Southern Song Dynasty might be the ancestor of your Fang family."

Fang Yan certainly knew that this was nonsense. His Fang family had always been active in the Jiangnan and northern regions. The Fang Dao family of the Southern Song Dynasty was an official in Minguang and was originally from Fujian.

Later, I studied traditional Chinese medicine in Fujian.

But since Lao Zhou said so, Fang Yan couldn't bear to offend him, so he responded with a smile:

"That's right. Maybe it's true."

Fangyan then thanked Lao Zhou again and said that he would donate the money to the country in the name of their family.

It also allows more people to see the wisdom of these ancient people.

These are all basic theories, and they are indeed of great benefit to the enrichment of the theory of traditional Chinese medicine.

The prescriptions recorded in "Fangshi Bianlei Jiacang Ji Yao Fang" provided rich clinical treatment ideas and methods for later medical practitioners. It has important reference value for studying the clinical practice and prescription application of ancient Chinese medicine, and also has certain enlightenment and reference role in modern Chinese medicine clinical practice.

Not to mention "Jie Gu's Commentary on Pulse Secrets", the pulse diagnosis theory and dialectical theory will be enriched again because of its appearance.

Old Zhou did not object to Fang Yan's action. His attitude was the same as Zhou Zhaoqin's. Anyway, it was given to Fang Yan, so it was his business how he dealt with it.

Fangyan asked how much these books were bought for.

But Lao Zhou insisted that he not care about it, saying that he had forgotten about it.

Probably "small amounts of money are not worth mentioning".

Then Fangyan didn't hesitate. Now that the things here had to be dealt with, he started looking through the two sets of books in the morning.

At about eleven o'clock, as the system voice sounded, he also completed the blessing of the system.

Just when I was preparing to pack up and take the box of things home to put it away for a while before donating it to the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the dean came again.

It is said that a lot of people came to the Chinese medicine department today. They all saw the news last night and knew that Fang Yan was here, so they came to see him for medical treatment.

And they are basically the families of officials.

Fangyan thought that most people who can watch TV in this era are probably from this kind of family.

I didn’t expect that after the last program of “News Broadcast” was broadcast last night, the impact would already be apparent today.

"They specifically asked you to see a doctor, what do you do..." the dean asked Fang Yan.

Fangyan is now a consulting physician, and his main job is to treat overseas Chinese.

Now these people come over and ask him to see their patients, making Fangyan act like a real doctor.

Fang Yan saw the dean's embarrassment and said:
"It's okay. The patients are here, so there's no point in chasing them away. Just make some arrangements and I'll see them."

PS: After finishing this chapter, I still owe you 100000 words.
