Chapter 265 27 Meeting

Chapter 265 27. Meeting
"I don't see V."

Oliver looked out through the hovercraft's camera connected to his vision, and did not see V's figure at the agreed position.

"It's because we came too early and V didn't get there, but V's location was right here, right?"

Jack opened the car door manually and looked out at the desolate land, but he didn't see any shadow that might be V.

"Could it be that the positioning went wrong because of data interference? I remember V said that his positioning system was secretly stolen by the Wanderer Tribe from a small company's satellite. It's not surprising that any accidents might happen to a satellite from a small company."

T-BUG speculated and said, "If it's that kind of problem, then we may have to wait for V to calibrate before contacting us. I don't know if his tribe of wanderers has shut down his outsider privileges. If the situation is not good, we may have to wait for V to find a nearby signal tower and call us."

"Can we just wait for V to contact us? Then what should we do? Find a place to land first?"

Oliver asked Carl for his opinion, but Carl just rolled his eyes at him.

"What else? Do you want me to let you drive fast for a while? Let's go ahead and follow the last communication. We don't know the correct position. The fuel in the hovercraft is running low. Oliver, you drive too crazy. If you continue to drive at full speed like this, we may run out of fuel and crash into the bad land."

"We thought there might be a supply point on the road. Floating vehicles are rare, but ethanol-2 fuel is not uncommon. At worst, we can find a broken-down car on the side of the road, break it open, and use the ethanol-2 that may be left in those cars."

“Why do you think those cars broke down?”

Carl was a little speechless and was about to say something when Jack's voice came: "Wait a minute, I saw a car covered with a car cover parked on the side of the road. Judging from the bumpy shape, it looks like V's car."

“V’s car?”

After hearing what Jack said, Oliver used the hovercraft to scan the road conditions, and then he saw the vehicle covered with a car cover as Jack said on the side of the road.

Abandoned vehicles are not covered with car covers.

"I'll land first."

Oliver, who was already quite skilled in operating the hovercraft, slowly lowered the hovercraft from high in the air and approached the vehicle parked on the ground.

When he was still four meters above the ground, Jack said hello and jumped down. After a brief pause, he quickly walked to the car covered with a car cover, lifted the car cover and took a few glances before shouting to his companions in the car:
"Yes, it's V's car, his Viper. It was parked next to us during the days when we were modifying the car. I definitely won't mistake it."

“Is it V’s car?”

When Carl heard Jack shouting this, he became a little confused.

From this perspective, the positioning is correct. V is waiting for them here, but why is only the car here, but where is V?

What’s the point of agreeing on positioning if the car is there but the person is not?

"Transfer to intelligent control."

After Oliver handed over the control authority to the intelligent control system, he also jumped down. He did not go to check the car like Jack did, but checked the surroundings. Then he found a series of footprints in the wilderness, moving towards the distance.

The scan from the artificial eye quickly allowed him to compare the data with that stored in his memory.

"This footprint is from V's shoes. When we finished our work, V took the money and went to a clothing store. I gave him a pair of shoes, so I remember this shoe print."

After listening to Oliver's words, Carl did not jump off the hovercraft. Instead, he stood on the hovercraft and looked into the distance along the footprints pointed by Oliver. Then he saw something that looked like a building in the sky.

"Could it be that V went to search for supplies?"

Carl told Jack and Oliver on the ground about this possibility, and asked them to get back up and follow the footprints to the distant buildings. Jack and Oliver had just boarded the hovercraft when they heard continuous gunfire in the distance.

In the vast wilderness, the sound travels very far, and the direction from which the sound came is
"It's the direction V might go."

After a few people looked at each other, the hatch closed. Jack and Carl sat firmly in their seats and then looked at Oliver.

Needless to say.

"Keep racing."

"Don't worry, I'm not sure about the other things, but watch out for the drag racing!"

The restarted hovercraft took only two seconds to go from hovering to full speed.

Feeling the scenery changing rapidly, the town about five kilometers away appeared in front of them in a short time. Looking down through the window of the hovercraft, everyone in the car saw what was happening in the town.

"V is fighting someone!"

Oliver shouted, opening the car door.

"Then we're just in time!"

Jack picked up the Saratoga, stood beside the open door, and looked down from twenty meters in the air.

The members of the Random Swordsmen Society who had just had a heated exchange with V noticed the sound of an engine in the air. When they looked up from behind their cover, they were shocked to find a burly man standing on an open hovercraft, pointing a submachine gun at them.

"what?"

In the wilderness, in a small town, you encounter a hovercraft?
what?
Before he could recover from this bizarre incident, the submachine gun in Jack's hand began to fire at low altitude. Looking from above, every soldier hiding behind the cover was like a ready target, and there was no possibility of making a mistake.

With just a splash of bullet magazine, all the swordsmen below fell to the ground.

"Now I understand why the invention of the airplane was groundbreaking."

Carl, who wanted to take action but found that he was not needed, stood by the open car door, looking at the town below, and then saw V, who was staring at them in amazement, behind a store.

"Hey, V, we're here to pick you up!"

Waving his hands happily, Carl greeted his friends whom he hadn't seen for a long time.

"Long time no see, eh, guys."

V looked at Carl, who was smiling in the car, and Jack, who was waving and greeting him, in a daze, and wondered if he was dreaming.

He thought his friends were coming to pick him up by car, and they did.
But who knew it was a hovercraft? !

To be honest, in V's life, he has never ridden a hovercraft, let alone robbed one.

Looking at the slowly descending hovercraft and his friends jumping out of the vehicle and happily rushing towards him to greet him, V's depressed feeling from being kicked out of the tribe dissipated unconsciously.
