Honghuang: Senior Brother of the Chan Sect, I am Guangchengzi

Chapter 341 The Golden Cicada Sleeps in Leiyin Temple

Chapter 341 The Golden Cicada Sleeps in Leiyin Temple

Although the Great Venerable cultivates the great way of merit, he will not seek trouble or help others for no reason.

It would be fine if it was just a small favor, but in matters of life and death like this, the Great Deity is smarter than anyone else, so naturally he doesn't want to stand in the way or kill anyone.

Even though she has to try her best to save the future now, it doesn't mean that she can waste time saving the Life Burial Lord. Everything is just for help.

Otherwise, he could just sit back and watch Guangchengzi kill the Life Burial Lord in order to intimidate the present and future Life Burial Lords.

The other party really has no need to kill her, but that doesn't mean that the other party has no suspicion of killing her. It's good to have one less factor, and it doesn't matter to her anyway.

But just because this matter is harmless to the Merit and Virtue Lord, it doesn’t mean it’s okay for the Life and Burial Lord.

For the Meritorious Two Lords, her future had already been clearly killed, and now the other party was likely to come back to the present and the past to hunt down the rest of her.

Rather than waiting to die, it is better to fight back at every opportunity, so she even tried to win over the Lord of Life and Death.

But Mingzang Zun felt that his present and future were fine, and the future of Gongde Shuangzun had nothing to do with him. Why should he wade into this muddy water? Wouldn't he be asking for trouble?
But what he found hard to explain was that he was the one who jumped into all this. After all, the other venerables were just watching, but he was the only one rushing forward. No wonder he was forced into this by these people.

Although the Great Virtue Venerable and the Great Merit Venerable had not said anything yet, under the pressure of the truth being revealed, the Life Burial Venerable thought for a long time, so long that the two venerables became a little impatient, and even Tian Guangzhen felt a little uneasy.

Finally, the Life Burial Venerable sighed and shook his head, saying, "As a fellow ancient Venerable, it is indeed difficult for me to have the opportunity to enter the Hall of Merit. I will just go in now."

Become!

What Mingzang Zun said was tantamount to agreeing to join forces with them to fight the enemy. The two Merit and Virtue Zun looked at each other and smiled, then took the two sighing venerables into the Merit Hall to discuss other matters.

Before leaving, Mingzang Zun asked Guangchengzi: "Your other system is really powerful, but I don't know what it is called. Can you tell me?"

Guang Chengzi nodded and said, "This way is called the Way of Immortality, and it was taught by my master."

Master!

Guangchengzi revealed his own origins for the first time. No matter whether it was the Merit and De Shuang Zun, the Life and Burial Zun or the Heavenly Light Zun, they were all a little curious at this time. They didn't even know whether the master they were talking about was the preaching master or the master who was still alive.

Although both types of masters are masters, the former can be said to be just a master who has given favors during the training stage and is most likely dead.

But if it is the latter, then it is probably just another old monster!
But that was all Guangchengzi could say, and he would not tell them Yuanshi Tianzun's background in detail.

So he just smiled mysteriously, returned to his original place, and began to try to evolve the universe in his body.

The four venerables were helpless and could only mutter that this man did have some background. Then they entered the Hall of Merit and began to discuss how to save the future Hall of Merit.

The Lord of Life and the Lord of Heavenly Light did not have the idea of saying one thing in front of others and another behind their backs. They were truly starting to think about how to save the Lord of Merit in the future.

Firstly, if one pretends to build a plank road while secretly attacking Chencang, he will be ridiculed for not keeping his word, and will easily attract ridicule from some people, who cannot stand such ridicule.

Secondly, if they dare to fool around, the Meritorious Twins will take them with them even if they die, so it is better to give it a try.

The immortal way is ancient.

"Today I will practice ninety-nine things, and tomorrow I will practice the remaining one."

An extremely lazy young man was lying on his side beside the Eight Treasures Merit Pond, and beneath him, a golden lotus was slowly blooming. There were countless mysteries between the blooming and falling of the flower. It was none other than the Western Religion’s most precious treasure, the Twelve-Rank Golden Lotus of Merit!
The Twelve-Level Golden Lotus of Merit, which is sacred and inviolable to countless monks, is nothing more than a bed for this young man to lie down and sleep.

As for those meritorious lotus seeds, he ate them one after another without feeling any regret at all. This was simply a great disrespect to the two Western leaders, but no one could say anything.

The two Western saints didn't care about the Twelve-Level Golden Lotus of Merit at all. They just let the young man eat it however he wanted, and naturally no one else could say anything.

At this time, a ray of Buddha's light appeared, and Guanyin Bodhisattva came out. He had gentle features and brows. He was obviously a man, but had a female appearance. He was more eloquent than flowers and more fragrant than jade. He was indeed a rare Bodhisattva in the world.

Seeing that this young man was being lazy and not practicing Taoism again, Guanyin Bodhisattva sighed secretly: "When the eldest brother was in the teaching, he practiced diligently day and night. How come he has changed his identity and spends his days stealing fish and fooling around?"

Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva is none other than Cihang Zhenren. Together with Samantabhadra Taoist, Jilusun and Manjusri Bodhisattva, they devoted themselves to Western Buddhism under the name of Zen Buddhism, and used this body to protect Guangchengzi in his enlightenment.

The two Western saints had no objection to this. After all, the addition of Zen Buddhism could make Western religion more profound, so they naturally welcomed it with open arms.

Cihang Zhenren, Samantabhadra Taoist, and Manjusri Bodhisattva were conferred the titles of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, and Manjusri Bodhisattva, with the sole purpose of protecting Guangchengzi in his path to enlightenment.

As for Kukrutuna, he had to uphold the name of Zen Buddhism and could not go out, so he was named Kukrutuna Buddha, but he was always waiting to support the three Bodhisattvas.

In addition, the Taoist Master Ran Deng also came to the Western Religion with them.

Different from the other four who came only to protect Guangchengzi, Master Ran Deng really wanted to join the Western Religion. He felt that he had learned enough in the Chan Religion, and for the sake of his own path, he wanted to resign the title of the Chan Religion's deputy leader.

However, Yuanshi Tianzun did not let Master Ran Deng give up this title, and still let him serve as the deputy leader of the Chan Sect, saying that Guangchengzi could become the great protector of the Demon Sect and the Shura Saint Master, so Master Ran Deng could naturally do the same.

The Taoist Master Ran Deng was naturally moved, but he still went to the Western Church, saying that he wanted to join the church and seek the truth.

The two saints personally met this guest from the Zixiao Palace. After careful discussion, they named Dipankara as the ancient Buddha of the past, in charge of all the Buddhas of the past.

Seeing that the young man was still lying on his side, eating golden lotus seeds while sleeping, Guanyin Bodhisattva could not help but remind him: "Jin Chanzi, what on earth are you doing?"

Upon hearing this, the young man, Jin Chanzi, jumped all over and immediately sat up straight with a peaceful smile on his face. He seemed to have fallen into the deepest dream, putting all external affairs behind him and not thinking about anything else.

"Are you trying to play the same trick on me again?" Guanyin Bodhisattva shook her head and smiled bitterly, then she stretched out her orchid finger and pointed, and a faint light suddenly shone on Jin Chanzi, and the water from the surrounding Eight Treasures Merit Pool poured all over him.

Ouch!

Jin Chanzi seemed to have just woken up from a dream. He fell to the ground with a thud, grimacing in pain, and complained, "Buddha, you are really too strong. I was just practicing the Great Dream Heart Sutra in my dream, and you woke me up like this. What if I get lost in the dream, or even go crazy!"

"You told me that you were practicing the Great Dream Heart Sutra!" Guanyin Bodhisattva said unhappily, "I was preaching in Zizhu Forest a few days ago and invited Bodhisattvas and celestial beings from all directions.

Even Tathagata personally sent his clone to listen, but you were sleeping soundly in front of everyone. Do you think I am serious at all? "

Jin Chanzi said quickly: "Bodhisattva, this is not my fault. It is because the great Dao you talked about is so wonderful that it gave me some insights into the Great Dream Heart Sutra. That is why I fell into a deep sleep involuntarily."

Guanyin Bodhisattva shook his head and sighed, "You stubborn disciple, there is really no hope for you. You think so, right? You say you are practicing the Great Dream Heart Sutra all day long, but you have never cultivated a dream world.

Forget it, I am too lazy to say anything to you, but today is the day when Tathagata is preaching in person. If you continue to be confused, even Master Wuchao cannot save you. Go and listen."

Seeing that Guanyin Bodhisattva didn't care, Jin Chanzi immediately put away the Twelve Merit Golden Lotus and said with a smile: "Jin Chanzi will obey the Bodhisattva's order and go to the Great Leiyin Temple to listen to the teachings now."

After saying that, the golden shovel flew away without stopping, leaving only the back of Guanyin Bodhisattva watching him and sighing.

On the way, Jin Chanzi met Manjushri Bodhisattva and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva again. The two of them kept asking him whether he had trained well today, which made Jin Chanzi very annoyed, but he could only smile and say that he had been practicing for some time and would surely have results in the future.

Seeing how lazy he was, the two Bodhisattvas began to admonish him. They talked on and on over and over again, until Jin Chanzi felt dizzy, but he had to continue listening.

Seeing that it was getting late, he quickly begged for mercy, "Two Bodhisattvas, my Buddha is about to begin preaching, and Jin Chanzi really can't be late.

I will go to the two Bodhisattvas' temples to listen to their teachings in person someday, but I really don't have time today, so I will leave first."

Afterwards, Jin Chanzi really did not dare to hesitate, and immediately walked quickly forward, passing the two Bodhisattvas, and hurried all the way, and finally broke into the Great Leiyin Temple at the last moment.

Seeing that countless Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and heavenly beings had gathered in the temple, all waiting for the Buddha to preach, Jin Chanzi swallowed his saliva and immediately squeezed forward, finally finding a seat with great difficulty.

Seeing that Jin Chanzi was always late and left early, some Bodhisattvas and celestial beings couldn't stand it anymore and wanted to scold him.

But at this moment, a boy came out and gently struck a small bell beside him, and a deafening bell sound suddenly burst out.

With the sound of the bell, all distracting thoughts in everyone's mind were swept away, leaving only a calm and peaceful state. It is just as the saying goes, the evening drum and the morning bell. Now that the morning bell is ringing, it is the time to wake up, and it also means that the Buddha is about to come.

"The Buddha is about to begin preaching. Please do not make loud noises to disturb him."

After the boy finished speaking, he found a place to sit down and waited quietly for the Buddha to preach.

Seeing that the morning bell had rung, some Bodhisattvas and celestial beings who wanted to teach Guangchengzi a lesson had to hold back. Jin Chanzi also breathed a sigh of relief. Beside him, a monk with golden hair nodded slightly to him and told him to sit down and not to miss the time.

"Please sit down first, otherwise I don't know what these people will say." Zen Master Wuchao said lightly, and Jin Chanzi nodded quickly and smiled at him.

Looking at Jin Chanzi like this, Zen Master Wuchao didn't know what to say. He was also one of the back-up plans arranged by the Chan Sect.

Moreover, he has a deep connection with Guangchengzi, or it can be said that it is extremely deep, because he is Guangchengzi's outer disciple, the only surviving Golden Crow Prince, and the patriarch of the Dayi Golden Crow clan.

Unfortunately, the Great Sun Golden Crow is a sun god. Today, the sun star has been controlled by Tianhuo Taoist’s disciple, Taiyang Zhuzhao. He has no way of bringing a new Great Sun Golden Crow into the world.

What's more, even if he was in charge of the former Sun Star, the Sun Star had already suffered severe damage in order to give birth to their ten Golden Crow Princes, and it has only just recovered now.

If they want to make the Golden Crow clan flourish, they can either raise them one by one, or learn from the Dragon Clan and spread the evolutionary path throughout the world, competing with the Phoenix Clan for control over all the birds in the world.

It’s a pity that Master Wuchao doesn’t want to choose either of these two paths, and in the future he may be the only golden crow.

"Forget it, forget it. What's the point of worrying about these things? Now all that matters is that I can take care of myself and my sisters." Zen Master Wuchao didn't want to worry about these things anymore. He closed his eyes again and thought about other things quietly.

An unknown amount of time had passed, until Jin Chanzi felt sleepy again and wanted to close his eyes and fall asleep, when a ray of fire descended, illuminating the world with a blinding light, causing all wandering Bodhisattvas and heavenly beings to open their eyes, realizing that person had come.

Then, under the watchful eyes of everyone, a Buddha as brilliant as the sun appeared.

There was determination between his brows, his thin lips were tightly closed, his head was full of knots of wisdom, and there was not a single strand of worry, which showed his extremely profound Buddhist practice.

The person who came was none other than the master of the Great Leiyin Temple, Duobao Tathagata.

Duobao Tathagata is naturally Duobao. He was punished by two saints, and the punishment was to make him transform into a Buddha to preach.

It is indeed an extremely depressing thing to let a senior brother of the Jiejiao sect become the Buddha of the West.

Looking at these Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and heavenly beings who came to listen to the sermon, especially Jin Chanzi who was sitting at the front with a slightly sleepy look on his face, Duobao Tathagata felt a little uneasy and felt nauseous as if he had swallowed a stone.

Asking him to preach to his enemies was more painful than killing him, but the punishment from the two saints was not fake, so he had to preach no matter how reluctant he was.

"Today I will be teaching the Dharma of Daluo. Everyone must listen carefully. If not, I will punish you."

Duobao Tathagata said indifferently, and then without paying any attention to whether these people understood or not, he immediately began to explain the way of Daluo.

After all, he is the eldest senior brother of Jiejiao. Even if Duobao Tathagata spoke very casually, there was a mystery in his voice. Countless Bodhisattvas and Heavenly Beings were aroused, and their faces were full of intoxicated expressions, and they were obviously immersed in it.

Even Zen Master Wuchao had a thoughtful look on his face, and from time to time he looked as if he had realized something. You can imagine what the others were like.

But among these countless intoxicated thoughts, there was one person whose performance was particularly extraordinary, or even extremely shocking.

Just because he was sleeping soundly in such a sacred place, and even snoring!
