Chapter 426 Different Ships

"It's gathering strength!" Robin warned. "Prepare for a stronger attack!"

The creature leader raised its arms, and a large amount of dark red energy began to gather around it. This energy exuded an evil aura that made people extremely uneasy.

"Watch out, everyone!" Borsalino rushed back to the Thousand Sunny. "It's about to launch a large-scale attack!"

"All ships! Take evasive action immediately!" Lieutenant Colonel Thomas also issued an emergency order.

But it was too late. The biological leader released its accumulated energy, forming a massive dark red beam that swept towards the three ships.

"Gum-Gum-Balloon!" Luffy immediately inflated his body, trying to protect his crewmates.

"A wall of light!" Borsalino also created a barrier of light.

"Wind Cannon - Maximum Output!" Franky fired the wind pressure cannon in an attempt to counteract the attack.

The triple defenses barely managed to block the attack, but everyone felt the terrifying power of that evil energy.

“This guy is stronger than I thought!” Zoro said solemnly.

“Moreover, its energy properties are very peculiar,” Borsalino analyzed. “It seems to be a combination of resentment.”

"Resentment?" Chopper asked, puzzled.

“That’s right.” Robin said thoughtfully. “These creatures are likely the resentment of the crew members who died here. Their hatred for being trapped in this space ultimately transformed them into these evil beings.”

"Then how do we solve this?" Nami asked worriedly.

“Their resentment must be purified,” Brooke said. “Let them rest in peace.”

“But ordinary purification attacks don’t seem strong enough,” Sanji said, frowning.

"Then let's use the strongest purifying power!" Luffy suddenly had an idea. "Everyone, attack together! Combine all our power!"

"A combined attack?" Franky's eyes lit up. "Sounds amazing!"

"But how do we do it?" Usopp asked, puzzled.

“I have an idea,” Borsalino said. “I can use the power of light to connect everyone’s attacks, forming a massive purifying attack.”

"Great!" Luffy exclaimed excitedly. "Let's give it a try!"

"Lieutenant Commander Thomas!" Nami contacted the Navy via Den Den Mushi. "We're preparing for the final attack, please cooperate!"

“Understood!” Lieutenant Colonel Thomas responded. “We will provide covering fire!”

The biological leader seemed to sense the threat and began preparing for its next attack. But this time, the three ships were fully prepared.

"Everyone! Concentrate your power on me!" Borsalino stood in the center of the Thousand Sunny, his body beginning to radiate a dazzling golden light.

"Gear Second! Gum-Gum - Giant Rocket Launcher!" Luffy's attack was surrounded by light, greatly increasing its power.

"The ultimate technique of the Three-Sword Style - One Great Three Thousand Great Worlds!" Zoro's strongest sword technique is also infused with the light of purification.

"Devil's Kick - Devil's Divine Kick!" Sanji's fiery kick became even more divine.

"Thunder Strike - Divine Punishment Thunder Strike!" Nami's lightning carried the power of judgment.

"Sixty-flowered wheel - Wrath of the Sacred Tree!" Robin's abilities were also purified and enhanced.

"Wind Cannon - Holy Light Storm!" Franky's attack transformed into a Holy Light Cannon.

"Ultimate move—Angel's Arrow!" Usopp fired a winged arrow of light.

"Weight Enhancement - Divine Pressure!" Chopper's attack was imbued with divine attributes.

"A lament for the soul—a requiem!" Brooke's music transformed into a hymn to soothe the dead.

With Borsalino's coordination, the power of the nine individuals merged into a massive golden pillar of light that shot straight into the sky.

"All naval forces! Provide artillery cover!" Lieutenant Colonel Thomas also issued the order.

All the shells were enveloped in golden light, transforming into purified ammunition.

"Combined Ultimate Technique - Purifying Holy Light Cannon!"

A massive golden beam of light hurtled towards the creature leader. This time, the creature leader was unable to withstand this pure power.

"roar--!"

It let out a final, unwilling roar, then its body began to disintegrate, turning into countless points of light that vanished into the air.

With their leader gone, the remaining small creatures calmed down. They stopped attacking and stood quietly, the red light in their eyes gradually fading, replaced by an expression of relief.

"Thanks."

A weak voice came from the mouth of the nearest creature.

"Thank you. You've freed us."

After saying this, the creature turned into specks of light and vanished. The other creatures also began to disappear one by one, each with an expression of gratitude.

"We can finally rest in peace."

"We don't have to be trapped here anymore."

Thank you. Thank you all.

With these words of gratitude, all the creatures vanished. The entire space returned to tranquility.

"It's over," Nami breathed a sigh of relief. "We did it."

“Those poor people,” Chopper said, tears welling in his eyes. “They’ve been trapped here for far too long.”

“At least they’re at peace now,” Brooke comforted him. “We did a good thing by helping them find rest.”

“But this is only the first step,” Borsalino cautioned. “We still need to find living survivors and that batch of Seastone weapons materials.”

"You're right!" Luffy rallied. "Our mission isn't over yet!"

Lieutenant Colonel Thomas contacted them via Den Den Mushi (a type of telephone phone).

"Well done, Straw Hat Pirates!" he exclaimed sincerely. "Without you, we wouldn't have been able to defeat those monsters."

"You're welcome!" Luffy grinned. "That's what comrades should do!"

“Now, we should search these ships,” Lieutenant Colonel Thomas suggested. “Look for survivors and lost supplies.”

“Okay!” Nami agreed. “Let’s split up and search.”

Three ships began to sail through this mysterious space, carefully searching every abandoned vessel.

After the battle, the three ships began to slowly navigate this mysterious space, searching for every abandoned vessel. An eerie silence filled the air, broken only by the faint sounds of ships colliding and the gentle lapping of the sea against the hulls.

“Let’s split into several groups,” Nami suggested. “That will make the search more efficient.”

“Great idea!” Luffy exclaimed excitedly. “I’ll team up with Zoro and Sanji!” “I’ll team up with Chopper and Brook,” Nami arranged.

"I'll team up with Franky and Usopp," Robin also assigned roles.

“I’ll operate alone,” Borsalino said. “I’m fast enough to quickly search large areas.”

Lieutenant Colonel Thomas's voice came through the Den Den Mushi: "We will also send out search teams. Each warship will send a ten-man team to search for ships in different areas."

"Let's begin!" Luffy couldn't wait to jump onto the nearest ship.

The first ship searched was a relatively new-looking merchant ship. Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji carefully boarded the deck and found the ship to be in fairly good condition, but completely empty.

“Strange.” Sanji observed the situation on the deck. “There are no signs of a battle on this ship, but where did everyone go?”

“Perhaps in the cabin?” Sauron suggested.

They entered the cabin and began searching. The cabin was fully furnished, with even uneaten food on the table, but they couldn't find a soul.

"This food is still very fresh." Luffy sniffed the meat on the table. "They must have disappeared not long ago."

Just then, a faint groan came from deep within the cabin.

"Someone's there!" Zoro immediately became alert.

The three followed the sound to the lowest level of the ship's cabin, where they found three figures huddled in a corner of a small storage room.

"Is anyone there?" Sanji asked gently. "We've come to rescue you."

The three people slowly raised their heads, their eyes filled with fear and despair. They looked very weak, pale, and their lips were cracked.

"Are you...are you human?" one of the middle-aged men asked, trembling.

"Humans, of course!" Luffy grinned. "We're the Straw Hat Pirates! We've come to rescue you!"

Upon hearing the word "rescue," hope rekindled in the eyes of the three.

“Thank goodness, we’re saved!” a female crew member began to cry. “We thought we’d never see the outside world again.”

"Which ship are you from?" Sauron asked.

“We are crew members of the merchant ship ‘Morning Light’,” the middle-aged man replied. “My name is Tom, this is my wife Mary, and this is our companion Jack.”

“'Dawnlight'? Sanji thought for a moment. 'The merchant ship that went missing a month ago?'

“Yes. We’ve been trapped here for a month,” Tom said weakly. “Those terrible monsters, our other companions…”

He didn't continue, but everyone understood what had happened.

"Don't worry, we've already defeated those monsters," Luffy reassured him. "You're safe now!"

“Really?” Mary asked incredulously.

“Of course it’s true!” Sanji said with a gentle smile. “I’ll go prepare some food and water for you; you need to replenish your strength.”

Just as Luffy and his crew rescued the first group of survivors, other search teams also made their discoveries.

Nami, Chopper, and Brook find two fishermen on a dilapidated fishing boat.

"Doctor! Come and see their condition!" Nami shouted to Chopper.

The two fishermen were in bad shape; one appeared to have a high fever, and the other had a visible wound on his leg.

“They need immediate treatment.” Chopper quickly began examining them. “This man’s wound is infected and must be treated right away.”

“I’ll help!” Brooke pulled out some medical supplies. “Although I don’t have flesh and blood, I still know a little about treating wounds.”

Meanwhile, Robin, Franky, and Usopp discovered more survivors on a medium-sized pirate ship.

"There are five people here!" Usopp reported excitedly. "They're all still alive!"

"Great!" Franky exclaimed excitedly. "We successfully rescued them!"

The five people were in different states. Two of them appeared to be relatively healthy, but their mental state was very poor; one was seriously injured and needed immediate medical attention; and two others seemed to have become somewhat mentally unstable due to prolonged fear.

"Are we...are we really saved?" one of the pirates asked, trembling.

“Of course!” Robin replied gently. “We are the Straw Hat Pirates, here specifically to rescue you.”

"The Straw Hat Pirates?" another pirate suddenly exclaimed excitedly. "Is that the Straw Hat Luffy with the 15 billion Berry bounty?"

“That’s right!” Franky said proudly. “Our captain is the future Pirate King!”

Borsalino, using his ability to travel at the speed of light, searched the largest number of ships. His efficient search uncovered over a dozen more survivors.

"Everyone's search has yielded results," he reported to the others via Den Den Mushi. "I've found twelve survivors here, all in bad condition and in need of medical assistance."

The Navy's search teams also made progress. Lieutenant Commander Thomas personally led a search of several larger ships and found survivors, including some Navy soldiers.

"Report!" a naval officer reported via Den Den Mushi. "We have discovered some of the crew of the government transport ship 'Seahawk'!"

“Great!” Lieutenant Colonel Thomas responded excitedly. “Do they know anything about the cargo?”

"According to them, the cargo is still on board, but the ship is trapped deep in space."

After nearly three hours of searching, the various teams returned one after another. The results showed that they had rescued a total of thirty-seven survivors. These people came from different ships—merchants, fishermen, pirates, and even some naval soldiers.

“Thirty-seven people,” Nami tallied the numbers. “More than expected.”

“But compared to the total number of missing persons, it’s still too few,” Lieutenant Colonel Thomas said gravely. “According to the records, there should be more than two hundred missing.”

“Others might…” Chopper didn’t finish his sentence, but everyone understood what he meant.

Those who were not found may have become the monsters they just purified.

"At least we saved these people," Luffy said optimistically. "Now the problem is, how do we get out of here?"

This question plunged everyone into deep thought. Although they had successfully entered this mysterious space and rescued the survivors, they had not found a way to leave.

“We were forcibly dragged in,” Nami analyzed the situation. “That dense fog possesses some kind of special power.”

“But the fog has dissipated now.” Sanji surveyed his surroundings. “The space we're in is surrounded by transparent barriers, like we're trapped in a giant bubble.”

“That’s really strange.” Franky was also studying the structure of the space. “From a physics perspective, this place shouldn’t exist at all.”

Borsalino carefully observed his surroundings and said thoughtfully:

"I think this space is most likely created by some kind of Devil Fruit power."

"A Devil Fruit ability?" Everyone looked at him.

“Yes.” Borsalino nodded. “The ability to create independent spaces, control dense fog, and forcibly teleport ships—only a Devil Fruit could combine these abilities.”
