Fu Xicheng squeezed Jiang Yuning's hand, his thin lips slightly pursed, "Uncle Lu, you misunderstood me. I just wanted to show you that I have a girlfriend, since someone is still single."

At that moment, Lu Jianyan's phone rang.

Fu Xicheng returned from the window carrying two plates.

He handed a pair of chopsticks to Jiang Yuning, completely abandoning his earlier playful and joking demeanor.

"Try it first and see if it suits your taste."

Jiang Yuning picked up a piece of food and found it tasted pretty good. She nodded to Fu Xicheng.

Jiang Yuning kept her head down and ate without speaking to Fu Xicheng.
