Chapter 7263 Deception

Chapter 7263 (Seven Thousand Two Hundred and Sixty-Three) Deception

“Then I’ll just say I used two standards,” said the gray-handed man.

The man with the brown hand asked, "Why not standardize it?"

"Why must we have a unified standard?" Grayhand laughed. "I'll use whichever standard I want."

The brown-handed man said, "Anyway, I can't control what standard you use, can I?"

The gray-handed man said, "Of course."

"So you're going to continue using your two standards?" the Brown-Handed Man asked.

"You mean in a little while?" the gray-handed man asked.

“All of them count,” the brown-handed man replied.

“That counts too,” Grayhand said. “If that counts too, then we have to discuss it separately.”

The brown-handed man said, "How can we break it down like this?"

The gray-handed man said, "It's divided into the past and the future."

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "It's been divided into smaller parts."
"Dividing it into two types is considered detailed?" Grayhand Man
“If I originally thought you would speak in unison, but you spoke in parts, then in my opinion that you spoke in detail,” said the brown-handed man.

"Oh, so you really thought I would say the same thing?" the gray-handed man asked.

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "You can think of it this way."

Grayhand said, "By saying that, you mean you didn't actually think I would say the same thing. You're just expressing that you hope I will do it that way."

The brown-handed man said, "You've seen through me. You said it's divided into the past and the future, but what about the 'present'?"

The gray-handed man said, "It's just a fleeting moment, there's really no way to describe it in detail, it's gone by too quickly." The brown-handed man said, "Alright. Then tell me about the past and the future."

“The past is clear enough. Just as you said, I used one standard to judge your feelings and another to judge mine,” Grayhand laughed. “But the future is unknown.”

“You mean the unknown? I thought you were going to say the future will become a standard,” the brown-handed man laughed.

Grayhand said, "I wouldn't say that, but it's certainly possible that it could turn out that way."

The brown-handed man said, "He left himself room to maneuver in his speech."

The gray-handed man said, "Leaving room for maneuver shows honesty."

The brown-handed man asked, "Looks like?"

“Do you think I’m putting on an act as soon as I say ‘appear’? I admit, sometimes when people say they ‘appear’ to be a certain way, they’re not actually like that,” Grayhand laughed. “But there are other situations too. Appearing honest can also mean being honest in the first place, right?”

The brown-handed man laughed. "Yes. So, what about you, who 'appears' to be honest, actually?"

“It’s about being honest,” Grayhand said. “If you don’t leave yourself any room for maneuver and just say I’ll become that way, but then I don’t, wouldn’t that be like lying?”

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "Is it that serious?"

"Don't you think so?" the gray-handed man asked.

"It depends on your perspective," the brown-handed man chuckled.

The gray-handed man said, "You tell me, from what angle does it look like a scam, and from what angle does it not look like a scam?"

The brown-handed man chuckled, “After all, who can say for sure what hasn’t happened yet? From the perspective of the uncertainty of the future, it doesn’t seem like a lie. But strictly speaking, if they say one thing and it doesn’t happen, then it does seem like a lie.”

The gray-handed man laughed and said, "Since the future is full of uncertainties, why should I speak so absolutely?"
