Chapter 734 I Just Want to Avoid Going the Wrong Way
After making up his mind, Lu Ping no longer hesitated, stepped forward and called out to the Ksitigarbha masters who were preaching.

"Buddhist friend, please stay."

Hearing the voice, the Ksitigarbha masters turned to look at Lu Ping: "My friend, you called us on purpose, are you interested in Ksitigarbha's wonderful Dharma?"

"Hmm? I'm not..."

"you're welcome!"

"Come on, let's talk about this over here. This is a genuine treasure!"

Lu Ping was about to deny it, but the Ksitigarbha masters were very enthusiastic. Before he could open his mouth, they surrounded him and one of their hands was constantly reaching into their sleeves to take something out.

no……

Don’t you think this kind of action can easily be misunderstood?
If Lu Ping hadn't known that these people were wandering monks, he would have almost thought that they were bad uncles who specialized in kidnapping children.

Soon, the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva masters stopped their constant groping and took out thick scrolls of wooden scriptures, which were the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Sutra that they used for preaching.

"This Ksitigarbha Sutra is the teaching of our Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. It contains extraordinary wisdom. If you can study it in depth, it will be of great benefit to you!"

"If you don't like his, you can take mine. It's newer."

"What's the use of being new? No matter how good your wooden slip is, the content recorded on it is no different from others. Mine is different. It also has the latest comments from the leader of our Di Ting Xumi Zang lineage..."

The Ksitigarbha Bodhisattvas placed the scriptures in their hands on the road, and they were rushing to do so, as if they were not doing it for the sake of preaching, but for their own KPI.

"Ahem... fellow Buddhists!"

Lu Ping was afraid that the conversation would go on and on, so he had to interrupt them.

"I don't want to join the church, I just want to get some information."

Upon hearing this, several Ksitigarbha Bodhisattvas' faces froze, and then they smiled awkwardly, took back their scriptures and walked away.

As he stepped back, he was still shaking his head, muttering words like "what a pity" and "forget it".

However, there were still a few Ksitigarbha Bodhisattvas who did not retreat. They continued to stuff scriptures into Lu Ping's arms, saying, "It's okay if you don't want to join the religion. It's good to learn a little bit."

"Anyway, just take it and treat it as a normal reading material. It's also good for killing some free time. It doesn't cost any money anyway."

"Don't worry, our Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva has traveled all over the Buddhist world. No matter what you want to know, we all have some clues."

Lu Ping had no choice but to pick up a scroll and keep it as a souvenir.

"I accidentally entered the Buddhist country a few days ago and now I am trying to find a way back. I wonder if any Buddhist friends can give me some advice?"

When the Ksitigarbha masters saw Lu Ping accept the scriptures, they were secretly happy that their missionary work had made further progress. When they heard his words, they became even more interested.

“So Buddhist friends are not from the Buddhist country?”

"That's new. Could it be that you are from the Central Plains?"

Central Plains...

Lu Ping's eyes moved, and he shook his head and said, "Actually, I'm not sure where exactly the Central Plains you're talking about is."

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva said: "Except for the four realms of demon scales and feathers and the Buddha Kingdom, we call it the Central Plains."

"Oh? I wonder what the origin of the Buddha Kingdom is? How long has it been established?"

"The Buddhist Kingdom was founded by Bodhidharma, the first ancestor, and it has been more than a thousand years since its establishment."

This answer was exactly the same as what Lu Ping knew.

millennium……

That was before the four major martial arts worlds of East, West, South, and North were split.

"After the founding ancestor built the Bodhidharma Golden Light Pagoda, the Buddhist Kingdom was completely separated from the Central Plains and became independent."

“Although they are said to be independent, there are actually many people traveling between the two regions to spread the Dharma.”

"But hundreds of years ago, something strange happened in the outside world. In order to prevent any accidents from happening in the Buddhist country, the leader of the Buddhist country at that time closed the external channels."

"For hundreds of years thereafter, only a very small number of people were able to travel between the Buddhist Kingdom and the Central Plains."

The Ksitigarbha Bodhisattvas were quite generous. Perhaps because Lu Ping had taken over the Ksitigarbha Sutra, they treated him as one of their own, so they generously told Lu Ping all the information they knew.

"Most of those who travel between the two realms are like you, who entered accidentally, and most of them ended up settling here." Hearing this, Lu Ping interrupted and asked, "Why is that?"

The Ksitigarbha Bodhisattvas replied, "On the one hand, it is because the external channels of the Buddha Kingdom are rather special. It is easy to enter, but difficult to leave. On the other hand, it is said that the court and the underworld are constantly in turmoil outside, unlike the peaceful and tranquil state within the Buddha Kingdom."

"I see……"

After gaining a general understanding of the situation, Lu Ping asked several people about how to find a way out.

The Ksitigarbha Bodhisattvas replied, "Go east from here, through the Mahavai Valley, over Mount Kongo, and past the Bodhi tree, and you will find the 'Gate of Heaven'."

"Once you get there, go find the administrator of Tianmen and explain your reasons. Perhaps they will be willing to let you out."

"But this road is quite complicated, and there are several dangerous places on the road. Even our Ksitigarbha Master sometimes makes mistakes. If you insist on going, you must be extremely careful."

Tianmen......

"I see. Thanks for telling me."

After Lu Ping finished thanking him, he was about to leave, but suddenly he thought of something else, so he stopped and asked, "I know the location of the Heavenly Gate, but could you please tell me the location of the Earthly Gate?"

"Gate of the Earth?!"

The Ksitigarbha Bodhisattvas were all shocked at the same time: "Why are you asking about the Earth Gate? That place is a forbidden place in the Buddha Kingdom!"

"Forbidden area..."

Seeing that Lu Ping seemed to be interested, the Ksitigarbha masters became even more panicked and could not help but speed up their speech: "In order to preach, many Ksitigarbha masters have gone to the Earth Gate before, but no one has ever come out."

"Over time, that place became a forbidden area, a place that no Ksitigarbha master dared to set foot in."

Lu Ping had already known about this matter, and nodded, "Well... I know, so how do we get to the underground gate?"

The Ksitigarbha masters looked at each other and looked at Lu Ping strangely.

Could it be that this person did not enter the Buddhist country by accident, but came here deliberately to seek death?

The Ksitigarbha Bodhisattvas repeatedly urged: "Buddhist friend, if you only want to leave the Buddha's kingdom, just go to the Heavenly Gate. If you are worried about taking the wrong path and entering a dangerous place, we can go with you."

"Although the place is dangerous, we will go with you and take care of each other. There will always be a chance of survival."

"It's best not to get involved with the Earth Gate."

These Ksitigarbha Bodhisattvas are quite kind.

Lu Ping laughed and said, "You misunderstood. I don't want to go to the underground gate, but I want to avoid it in order to prevent myself from taking the wrong path and accidentally entering it!"

"You can just tell me the way to the Earth Gate!"

The Ksitigarbha masters believed it and finally breathed a sigh of relief: "So that's how it is..."

"In that case, it's okay to tell you."

"Go north from here to Mount Fahua, then go west past the Asura Cave and you will reach the Earth Gate."

Lu Ping bowed and said, "Thank you!"

Then he turned into a ball of light and flew towards the north.

Looking at the ball of light that was getting farther and farther away, the Ksitigarbha masters looked at each other in confusion.

"He was heading north just now, wasn't he?"

"seems like it……"

Going north, isn't that the way to the underground gate?

Why is this new Buddhist friend so determined to die?
The Ksitigarbha masters were silent for a long time, until the ball of light disappeared from their sight, and then they suddenly came to their senses.

"What should we do? Should we chase him and stop him?"

"He disappeared in a flash, who can catch up with him?"

"Forget it, everyone has their own destiny, let's leave."
