Chapter 526 The Perfect Man, the Sage, the Divine Man: The Unity of the Three Daos
Chapter 526 The Perfect Man, the Sage, the Divine Man: The Unity of the Three Paths
Whether one dares or not is no longer important.
The important thing is that everything has become a fait accompli; Ji Jingqiu has already made his move, pulling Doumu off the path to the other shore.
Since he can bring the True Spirit Heavenly Rank into this world, he naturally has the ability to knock people down.
Doumu, who had fallen back into the world of the living, finally saw her "fellow traveler" again.
Deep in the void, amidst the chaos, a blurry figure sat cross-legged, enveloped in boundless light, its eyes closed, never opening even when Doumu arrived.
Doumu glanced at the long sword stuck in front of Ji Jingqiu out of the corner of her eye. It was like an anchor point in the mother river of fate and time. The blade seemed to be cast from glass, with an endless, slender curve, like the other shore at the end of the sea of suffering, the place that all living beings seek.
When it landed here, all the realms and heavens fell into a state of calm and tranquility, free from wind, rain, and calamity.
Doumu's eyes revealed obvious apprehension.
Just now, it was this very blade that emitted a clear, resonant sound, like a snapping string, from its edge.
With a single slash, the unique True Spirit Heavenly Rank trembled noticeably, causing her to fall to the mortal realm.
Doumu Yuanjun, the former mother of all stars who once reigned high in the heavens and the chief goddess of the Dipper, understood most of what had happened today after seeing Ji Jingqiu with her own eyes.
For example, the position of the Lord of the Underworld is contained within this knife.
She originally thought that the Netherworld Lord position had directly chosen Ji Jingqiu as its master, which would be the worst possible outcome.
With the Netherworld Lord's Fruit position supporting the Return to Truth position, and then with the waters of the Netherworld Sea and the Bitter Sea filling the Dao power, Ji Jingqiu is undoubtedly a transcendent being, and in this world, he is the so-called Great Dao Ancestor!
But now, the position of the Netherworld Lord has fallen to that divine weapon. Even if Ji Jingqiu carries two Great Dao Seas, his rank is not high enough. He is only at the peak of True Saint, half a step beyond transcendence.
Furthermore, because he has been continuously and forcefully dragging the True Spirit Heavenly Rank down to this world, it is unknown how much of his strength he can actually unleash in a real fight.
The situation hadn't reached its worst point, but Doumu Yuanjun still couldn't help but reveal a complex expression in her eyes, a mixture of envy and jealousy. Even though her divine purity was unparalleled, she lost her composure at this moment due to the trembling of her divine nature.
At that moment, she saw most things clearly, but there were still some things she couldn't understand or guess.
For example, since its birth, it has never seen or heard of anyone being able to pull down the True Spirit Heavenly Ranks by their own power!
How can a being that has never even stepped into the realm of transcendence accomplish everything it has done, causing the Sea of Bitterness and the Sea of Darkness to bow down and sink, causing the Lord of Darkness to choose its own master, and causing the True Spirit Heavenly Rank to fall into the lowest abyss?
What exactly is Ji Jingqiu's advantage?!
Doumu Yuanjun suddenly suppressed her rage, extinguished the demonic incarnation that Hela had silently planted in her heart, regained her composure, looked at Ji Jingqiu, and slowly said:
"Fellow Daoist Ji, if you were capable of pulling down someone from the True Spirit Heaven Rank, why didn't you say so sooner? If you had, would we have ended up in this situation today?"
"The Great Dao is invincible. If you are willing to send me away, I will never set foot in this realm again!"
Using words to buy time, Doumu had already communicated with the Investiture of the Gods. After realizing that she still held the original power, she was ready to turn against them in the end.
At this time.
The blurry figure opened its eyes, and between the opening and closing of its eyes was a profound and serene understanding of everything.
Buddhism teaches to let go of attachments. He let go of the other shore and thus attained his own "other shore".
At that moment, he seemed to have transcended all causal connections and all predestined relationships, rising above them all.
He has not yet achieved the path of transcendence, but his mind is even higher.
Doumu suddenly erupted, and the world lost its color as she made her move. It was as if the world was "closed" together at that moment, and the world was unified, achieving the darkest chaos!
For a moment, in the vast world, only Ji Jingqiu remained.
"If you refuse, then let's fight to the death! Even if my true spirit dims, I will perish here with you!"
Doumu's indifferent and cold words echoed throughout the heavens and earth, filled with resolute determination.
Ji Jingqiu is already able to interfere with the True Spirit Heavenly Realm. When he steps into Transcendence and reaches the pinnacle of Heaven and Earth Unity, won't the entire True Spirit Immortal Dao fall into his hands?!
When that time comes, they will be condemned to eternal damnation, with no hope of ever rising again!
Doumu's attack left no trace, was unaffected by cause and effect, resonated with heaven and earth, and caused the Great Dao to change accordingly. It had already surpassed her performance in the previous battle with Hela!
She fully utilized the power of the Investiture of the Gods, pushing it to its limit. At this moment, the Mother River surged and raged, chaos filled the air, and the surrounding heaven and earth collapsed, seemingly about to condense into a single point!
However, the next moment, the Investiture of the Gods, which supported Doumu in displaying extraordinary abilities, suddenly froze, and the immense divine power collapsed as if it had lost its supporting pillar.
Doumu's expression suddenly changed, her gaze falling on Ji Jingqiu's hand, and she gritted her teeth, saying:
"The God-Slaying Whip?!"
"Emperor One has already fallen into your hands?!"
Ji Jingqiu remained seated in the void, saying calmly, "Since you've arrived, come with me to see someone."
Doumu's gaze was sharp. She was accompanying him to meet someone. Who was it?
She suddenly guessed the answer, her pupils contracted sharply, and she instinctively wanted to dodge.
But at this moment, having lost the blessing of the Investiture of the Gods, even her advantage of returning to oneness with the true spirit is completely gone in front of Ji Jingqiu, and she is powerless to resist.
As the heavens and earth turned, all kinds of light and shadow appeared in the river, refracting colorful brilliance. Doumu seemed to be stepping on a clear, mirror-like sea of light, empty and pure.
Upon seeing this sea of light, Doumu's expression changed slightly, and she recognized where she was.
Deep within the core of the Investiture of the Gods is also the source of the Mother River of this world, the root of the Great Dao, and the place where the last will of the one who unified heaven and earth was left behind!
She suddenly looked up, her face showing surprise and doubt, before looking at Ji Jingqiu's back in front of her.
There was no one else here except the two of them!
Is that one who unites heaven and earth truly here?
Could it be that they don't want to see them?
Ji Jingqiu's gaze fell on the end of the water, where the man had once sat, now only tiny ripples remained.
After an unknown amount of time, Ji Jingqiu sighed softly:
"Farewell, fellow Daoist."
The last time we met was at that invitation.
This time, however, it was Ji Jingqiu who took the initiative to enter this place.
The last time they met, the man asked him several questions, which was somewhat unfair, so this time Ji Jingqiu also had questions.
However, this fellow Daoist seemed to have seen through Ji Jingqiu's thoughts and "left the stage" in advance, handing the opportunity over to him, as if acknowledging his "victory".
Ji Jingqiu seemed to be talking to himself, yet also seemed to be asking someone unseen:
"Fellow Daoist, what do you think true freedom is for all living beings in the world?"
Fan Ling believes that cultivators are more free, and lower-level cultivators yearn for their predecessors who have reached higher realms, but on the Great Dao, there will always be those who are higher.
This shows that different beings at different levels in the mortal world perceive freedom differently.
But beneath this, there must be a "bottom line," which is the foundation of all freedom and the first freedom that all living beings in the universe have obtained.
In He Shi's eyes, the bottom line is "to live".
Master He believes that all living beings have only one concern from beginning to end—
Will I survive today?
Will I be able to survive tomorrow?
Will I be able to survive the day after tomorrow?
In this world, is there anyone who can show them a way to survive?
In a sense, the Lord of the Underworld, who was the previous incarnation of the seven He Masters, probably thought the same way. That's why he devoted himself to creating the path of reincarnation for the world, so that all sentient beings in the world could have a next life in addition to this one.
So what exactly is freedom in one's own eyes?
How should he respond to the prayers of all living beings in this world?
Is the so-called "always responsive and always helping" just endless assistance?
Ji Jingqiu had been pondering this question for a long time, and then he got the answer.
What Master He and his companions sought was the bottom line of "living." Whether alive or dead, as long as they still existed in the world, this was the first "freedom" that all living beings could obtain.
But is living truly a form of freedom?
In Buddhism, the Saha world is called "endurable," which means that sentient beings must endure the suffering and afflictions of the five defiled worlds.
The world we all live in is actually full of shortcomings, which is why all living beings face the eight sufferings, and why the world is like a burning house, and the dark sea has fallen into the sea of suffering.
But for the vast majority of living beings in this world, it's not that they can't endure hardship, they're not afraid of hardship, what they're afraid of is not knowing why they have to endure hardship, and whether they are enduring hardship in vain.
In the simplest terms, life should have a purpose. Every hardship, if it can make your life better, is still hardship, but it is no longer just hardship, but a stepping stone to a higher place.
All living beings in the world have desires, can see the path ahead, and strive to move forward. How can the hearts and minds of the people and the world fall into disarray?
This is the "great freedom" that Ji Jingqiu considers after being alive.
Whether in past, present, or future lives, one can live without doubt, ultimately pointing towards the ultimate goal of non-attachment—Buddhahood.
In this context, the so-called gods and Buddhas will play a role that is both indifferent and passionate. They will not easily promise peace to all beings, but will quietly accompany all spirits, watch over them as they navigate the injustices of life, and offer divine revelation when they need help the most, telling them that hope lies ahead and that they just need to keep going.
Before all beings are ready to ascend to higher places on their own, gods and Buddhas will shoulder the burden of suffering for humanity.
At this moment, all the paths Ji Jingqiu had walked in his life, and all the insights he had gained, were transformed into this meaning.
He sat down on the spot, holding a green lamp in his palm.
All living beings in heaven and earth, and all spirits in the seas, saw an ancient and weathered blue glass lamp suddenly light up ahead.
Its lights are serene and bright, illuminating the depths of the sea of suffering and lighting a path to liberation that leads directly to the other shore for all beings.
All sentient beings, feeling a sense of connection, felt something slowly flowing through their hearts, as if incense was being lit everywhere!
Even if one has never received the seed of the heart lamp, it doesn't matter. The projection will fall and pass from one lamp to all the lamps. One heart lamp after another lights up, just like ten thousand rays of light rising. All the lamps are bright, illuminating the heavens for eternity!
As Ji Jingqiu gazed at this scene, the endless lights reflected in his eyes.
He hopes that one day, the incense burning in the hearts of all people will no longer be a prayer to the gods, but a hope for themselves.
This will be a very long road.
But it doesn't matter, because he is already immortal, and he has enough time to wait for and protect this world as it moves toward the path he expects.
……
……
Within the inner universe, the only remaining Wu Zhou suddenly turned around.
Since Hela voluntarily jumped into the Sea of Suffering, the Moon-Slaying Sword sacrificed itself, unleashing the true sword of transcendence.
Apart from the Bodhi tree that seems to have always been silent yet has existed to this day, only Wu Zhou remains here.
But at that moment, Wu Zhou heard the creaking sound of the door being pushed open.
He looked back and saw that on the mountaintop, the gate that was neither a temple nor a temple, hidden under the dust for countless epochs, was now moving and opening by itself.
The two characters "burning incense" on the plaque shone brightly at this moment, flowing with a divine, golden, and mysterious color of merit.
Wu Zhou involuntarily stepped towards the threshold, but stopped in front of the door. A gentle breeze blew by, causing him to stumble backward.
That gentle breeze flows between heaven and earth, enacting the cycle of birth and death without form.
"Roar--"
A tiger's roar suddenly rang out from behind the door, causing Wu Zhou's expression to change drastically. His primordial spirit wavered and was on the verge of dissipation, and his mind was close to death!
Beyond the threshold, a large area of shadow emerged.
It was a thin tiger, bony and emaciated, its body covered with knife and sword wounds, old wounds overlapping with new ones, crisscrossing its torso and limbs, silently telling the story of how it had forged its way through mountains of corpses and seas of blood.
It emerged from behind the threshold, its withered body seemingly about to fall apart at any moment, yet it exuded an aura that eclipsed the world. The surrounding space distorted because of its presence, and light passing by seemed to be swallowed up, becoming dim and uncertain.
It stopped and raised its battered yet still majestic head.
His eyes held no pain, no weariness, only absolute indifference and supreme majesty refined through countless trials.
Wu Zhou stared in disbelief at the thin tiger before him. Was this Ji Jingqiu's imagined creation?!
It actually came out from behind that door!
With the arrival of Fat Tiger and the Wind of No Form, Ji Jingqiu's missing natural traits were filled.
……
Doumu suddenly fell into a daze, seeing the true face of that person for the first time.
Despite being the supreme unifier of heaven and earth, he possessed a gentle and mild demeanor that belied his status, as if in his eyes, no matter how lofty the Great Dao was, it was not as important as the myriad beings beneath its feet.
He looked at Ji Jingqiu with a smile, as if to say:
Fellow Daoist Ji, you have won by single-handedly pulling people's hearts and the world towards a better future.
"madman……"
Doumu Yuanjun suddenly woke up and subconsciously took a step back, but she gritted her teeth and was full of resentment.
Tiny ripples, barely visible to the naked eye, gradually appeared on the water's surface beneath our feet.
She noticed Ji Jingqiu's unusual behavior. Ji Jingqiu was not only asking and answering himself, but was now... transforming the world into the Dao!
As he explained his desires, wishes, and path, he subtly assimilated into this place, as if the world itself had recognized Ji Jingqiu's path and the path he was walking on!
However, Ji Jingqiu had not yet reached the Transcendence stage; he was still at the True Saint level. How could he possibly merge with the Dao in this sacred land? Therefore, the Dao transformation descended uncontrollably.
This Taoist influence is spreading across the entire lake, and even she is caught up in it.
"Ji Jingqiu, stop! Do you want to die?!" Doumu roared.
Even if your true spirit returns to oneness, you still haven't reached the other shore! I don't know what state of mind you've reached, but as long as you don't transcend everything, you're destined to sink into the mortal world!
"Stop! You want to die, but I don't!"
In order to resist this invisible transformation, a magnificent and wondrous picture naturally appeared around Doumu, with the sun and moon hanging together and stars gathered, but it was gradually crushed and submerged by the invisible water flow!
Doumu's expression changed completely. Her divinity was being tainted by an invisible struggle over the Great Dao, and she couldn't even tell whether this struggle originated from Ji Jingqiu or from the source of this place!
"Ji Jingqiu, you've hindered my path to enlightenment and now you want to drag me down with you. Today, let's fight to the death!"
Doumu roared, and suddenly an endless shadow appeared from the shadow beneath her feet, instantly covering the world and enveloping Ji Jingqiu in the very center!
The aura of the tide of annihilation surged forth at this moment.
The Annihilation Tide was no longer under the suppression of the Heavenly Court, but was gathered by her alone. She harbored ambitions and hoped to break through the realm of the unity of heaven and earth in the future, refine it into the core, and thus invade all worlds!
Even when she was at a disadvantage in her battle against Hela, she never used this trump card. Now, Doumu has no choice but to bring the Annihilation Tide into existence ahead of schedule!
As the tide of annihilation appeared, Ji Jingqiu couldn't help but open his eyes.
At this moment, Doumu has merged with the tide of annihilation, using her own body as a sacrifice to further propel the tide of annihilation's surge!
Hela appeared behind Ji Jingqiu, her expression grave:
"We've finally brought this uncertainty to the surface, but it's a tricky thing, and I feel it poses a threat to me as well—"
Ji Jingqiu's eyes flickered slightly: "The cataclysmic disaster a hundred epochs ago, and even going back further, can be traced to the demise of the One Who Unified Heaven and Earth, so it is naturally extremely troublesome."
"You rely on the power of the Dark Sea and the Bitter Sea; can you suppress it?" Hela asked. "Would you like me to lend you a hand?"
Ji Jingqiu remained silent for a moment, then said, "Just now, Fatty Tiger and the Wind of No Form have returned. Now, my nature is only missing your part, so I can give it a try."
"Then I will lend you a hand and help you complete your last remaining instinct."
Ji Jingqiu looked at Hela: "Actually, I'm very curious about what you're trying to achieve in transcendence and align yourself with the Dao."
Hela chuckled and said, "Once you've also reached transcendence, go back to your roots."
Ji Jingqiu said no more: "You will be in charge of the Nether Sea, and I will be in charge of the Bitter Sea. We will gather the Tide of Annihilation into one. Doumu can do it, and so can we."
Hela's eyes gleamed with excitement: "Now that the Tide of Annihilation has been quelled, this Boundary Sea will be ours, right?"
Ji Jingqiu chuckled and said, "The ancestors are all on their way back, so we still need to discuss this issue with them."
Hela pursed her lips and suddenly said, "I'm going to check on your tiger cub."
After saying that, she once again entered Ji Jingqiu's inner universe, just like before.
Besides the Bodhi tree, there is now another tree of the Great Way.
In the void, two seemingly endless rivers flow into the vast ocean below Mount Wuwang.
Hela smiled as she watched Wu Zhou being trampled underfoot by a certain skinny tiger.
……
……
The vast ocean.
Luo Xuan gazed at the battlefields in various places, especially at the location of the Heavenly Staircase, his expression shifting uncertainly.
A figure in red appeared beside him at some unknown time. The aura of this figure was so strong that it was not much weaker than that of Doumu, who was not even blessed by the Investiture of the Gods.
red lotus.
Of the three leaders from this side in the past, all except for the "Heavenly Emperor" who had been captured by the Heavenly Court were present.
"Now!" Honglian declared firmly, brooking no argument.
Luo Xuan's expression shifted between light and dark. He suddenly asked, "Did you foresee all that's happening now?"
Honglian coldly replied, "Who do you take me for? No one can foresee the future of a True Spirit One."
"Then how did you foresee that the situation would develop to this point?" Luo Xuan asked in a deep voice.
Honglian remained silent for a moment before saying slowly and deliberately, "I learned about Doumu Yuanjun's plan from you, and I know that she has absolutely no chance of succeeding!"
"why?"
"Because that person will never let her win!" Honglian gritted her teeth, her resentment reaching its peak. "In that person's eyes, the lives of all living beings are greater than anything else!"
"Ji Jingqiu's appearance was merely a convenient excuse for him! Even without Ji Jingqiu, there would have been Mu Jingqiu, or He Jingqiu!"
Luo Xuan didn't know who this person was referring to, but according to Hong Lian, there was someone behind everything... covering for them!
He suddenly understood why Honglian had been unwilling to talk to him much before; she was afraid that he would turn against him and choose to become Luo Jingqiu.
Luo Xuan narrowed his eyes and said, "Then do you think that the World Honored One's actions were within that person's expectations?"
Honglian remained silent for a moment, then said, "I've said it before, no one can see the fate of someone who has achieved true spiritual unity. Even another person who has achieved true spiritual unity has gathered all true spirits and all possibilities, leaving only their true nature and spirit..."
"as well as?"
Honglian urged, "There's not enough time! Haven't you noticed? After that person left, the suppression that bound us in this Boundary Sea, preventing us from transcending, is dissipating!"
Seeing that Luo Xuan remained expressionless, Honglian couldn't help but sneer:
"What, you're still thinking about becoming the Great Dao Ancestor? You should get through this hurdle first. Besides, there's always a possibility of completing this hurdle in the future!"
Upon hearing the last sentence, Luo Xuan finally showed some interest.
He may bow his head, be obsequious, resort to any means, and betray everything in his life, but he will never "admit defeat" in the face of this challenge!
"First, let's clarify how to complete this." Luo Xuan's eyes gleamed with a strange light. "Also, now that we've come this far, Fellow Daoist Honglian, you should reveal your true identity. You're not from this realm, are you? Or are you from the Land of Return to Truth?"
Seeing that Luo Xuan was determined not to give up, Honglian looked at the rising tide of annihilation in the distance and had no choice but to explain:
"The so-called Great Dao Ancestor of this world is nothing more than a truly complete returnee. In other words, all the returnees in this world are limited by the laws of heaven and earth and are incomplete."
"Those who return to their true nature have three broad and easy paths, none of which are superior or inferior: the first is the perfect person, the second is the divine person, and the third is the sage."
Luo Xuan's eyes flashed with an unusual light as he said, "The perfect man has no self, the divine man has no merit, and the sage has no name?"
He had received this explanation from the saints of the Netherworld long ago.
Honglian ignored him and continued speaking to herself:
"The perfect person is selfless, not in the sense of forgetting oneself, but in the sense of spreading the concept of 'I' to all things, into the vast universe, with a broad mind. Therefore, the mind of the perfect person is like the void, boundless, immeasurable, and infinite."
"Those who return to their true selves on this path are boundless in their surroundings, and all things in heaven and earth are extensions of them. Everything from beginning to end is like a reflection in a mirror. When it comes to the ability to seek good fortune and avoid misfortune, no one in the world can match them. Therefore, they are the most carefree and enjoy great freedom."
"The divine being is without merit. This does not mean that he has done nothing, but rather that his achievements have long been integrated into the fundamental workings of the Great Dao, flowing naturally. The Dao gives birth to all things without leaving a trace, and is not tainted by cause and effect."
"Such beings no longer need the gratitude of the world for their blessings. They are above the mortal world, creating the world with a single thought, and the heavens and earth move accordingly. The laws change with them, just as the seasons run and all things grow. They seem to do nothing, but in reality, they are capable of everything!"
"The sage is nameless. This name is neither one that is known throughout the world nor one that is unknown. Rather, it is that his very existence transcends the constraints of name and form, and is beyond definition and expression!"
“Sages govern by doing nothing, their way pervades heaven and earth, their power encompasses the universe. Wherever they stand, that is the principle; whatever they do, that is the law. They do not care about meritorious deeds or great achievements, but only about the great way they follow.”
"The name is already a redundant external thing to them, just as the Great Way has no name, but to forcibly name it the Way is to call it 'nameless'!"
"The perfect man has no self, therefore he is carefree."
"Gods and men have no merit, for they created the world."
"The sage has no name, yet the heavens proclaim his teachings."
"Among the transcendent beings in this realm sea, there are all three types, but none of them are complete. The paths taken by those Great Dao Ancestors are also mixed and impure, but their main paths are all the paths of sages, which is why there is the saying that the Great Dao Ancestors spread their teachings to all realms."
"If you want to become the so-called Great Dao Ancestor, you can break through to transcendence first, and then seek the 'complete Dao Fruit' later."
Luo Xuan stood frozen in place, his eyes gleaming with a strange light, feeling overwhelmed by Hong Lian's words!
The problem that had troubled him for decades seemed to have been solved by the Red Lotus.
Luo Xuan remained expressionless, his mind seemingly detached, taking a long time to regain its clarity.
Honglian, already impatient, said, "The reason I'm urging you isn't because of the Annihilation Tide, but because we can't give Ji Jingqiu any more time!"
Luo Xuan suddenly realized: "What do you mean?"
Honglian coldly asked, "Of the three paths, which one do you think Ji Jingqiu will choose?"
Luo Xuan frowned and asked, "A Perfected One?"
Although their vision was not as broad as Doumu's and they could not see Ji Jingqiu's current situation, Ji Jingqiu was able to bear the sea of suffering at the Dao Ancestor level, which must have been due to a breakthrough in his spiritual cultivation.
Honglian coldly said, "He has already realized the true unity of the spirit, and not long ago he even let go of his attachments, his heart is like that of a sage."
"In addition, he successively endured the Sea of Bitterness and the Sea of Darkness, bringing the True Spirit Heavenly Realm down to the mortal world, severing his Dharma Body and making a great vow, completely paving the way for the 'God-Man', and his attainment of enlightenment is just around the corner!"
"And the great vows he made when he severed his Dharma body will surely lead to the complete spread of Buddhist teachings throughout this world, or perhaps the path of the immortal true spirit will be completely incorporated into the root of the Great Dao of this world and become the underlying Great Dao. Either way, it will surely elevate him to the great achievement of a saint."
"The unity of the three paths is a rare find throughout history!"
"Even in the endless sea of countless powerful beings, it deserves to be called 'supreme, supreme, and great'!"
Luo Xuan stood there stunned, and after a long while, he shook his head in a daze and said:
"Impossible. That World Honored One severed his divine status this time and merged with the Bitter Sea of Dao to suppress it. Where would he have any strength left to break through? Where did he get the accumulation and foundation?"
"Accumulation and foundation?"
Honglian felt a sense of incomprehension, like a summer insect trying to understand ice, and in her extreme anger, she laughed instead.
"You're talking to those with grand aspirations about foundational knowledge and accumulated experience?!"
"Do you know that once this person truly leaves this realm, the position of Buddhist leader, which has existed for trillions of epochs and has been vacant since the collapse of the heavens, will immediately choose its own master?!"
"In the ten directions and millions of worlds of Buddhism, the new Brahma Tathagata, the most holy Buddha, will be welcomed at the first moment!"
"That person is not only the first enlightened being born after the collapse of the heavens, but also the one destined by Heaven; now, he is consistent in word and deed, making a great vow with his own body, putting on an unbreakable shackle for himself, but also becoming the future Buddha that countless beings in the ten directions and millions of worlds have been waiting for for a long time!"
Luo Xuan asked in confusion, "What are the ten directions and millions of worlds? What exactly is the Heavenly Collapse?"
Seeing Luo Xuan's inability to prioritize, Honglian was utterly disappointed. She stood up to take action, interrupting him:
"I don't have time to say any more to you, Fellow Daoist Luo, any later and it will truly be too late..."
Halfway through the conversation.
Honglian seemed to sense something, and the atmosphere in the room seemed to freeze completely as she stood up.
She turned around abruptly and saw a figure deep in the void that she absolutely did not want to see at this time and place!
Ji Jingqiu!
"you……"
Honglian looked surprised and took several steps back in the void. She suddenly looked at Luo Xuan and saw that even when Ji Jingqiu arrived, Luo Xuan was expressionless and his eyes were lifeless. Only then did she realize what was going on.
It wasn't that Luo Xuan was oblivious to the bigger picture, but rather that he had already fallen into Ji Jingqiu's mind control. The questions he asked earlier were not his own, but rather were asked on behalf of Ji Jingqiu!
When was it?!
With Luo Xuan's cultivation level, Ji Jingqiu was able to silently invade her mind to the point that she didn't even notice...
"You've already entered the realm of returning to the true self?!"
The "Ji Jingqiu" figure, who had appeared in this realm at some unknown time, had already placed his gaze on Honglian, but Honglian, with her divine sense, showed no reaction.
He seemed to mutter to himself, "So that's how it is."
Four simple words, yet they sent chills down Honglian's spine.
She didn't know if Ji Jingqiu knew about the Three Paths to Return to Truth, but judging from the current situation, it seemed that she had personally facilitated the birth of a Supreme Saint?!
"Thank you for clearing up my doubts today, fellow Daoist."
"I've always been a little worried that there might still be variables outside of Doumu and the Heavenly Court. Even if they silently took down Di Yi, even if Doumu released the Annihilation Tide, this worry still hasn't dissipated."
“I fear there are still uncertainties, I fear this world will never be at peace, I fear I am not strong enough… until—I found my fellow Daoist.”
As Ji Jingqiu spoke, Honglian felt a chill run through her body and mind. An unimaginable pressure descended from the depths of the void, locking onto her.
That wasn't Ji Jingqiu's imposing presence, but rather the entire Dao of Heaven and Earth being directed against her!
Ji Jingqiu looked at the increasingly powerful and unstoppable tide of annihilation in the distance and said calmly:
"Then that's enough for today."
A sliver of light descended from the sky, revealing the profound mysteries of the other shore. It was as if a sliver of light had opened up the heavens, encompassing the ten directions of heaven and earth, the eight wastelands and six realms, and the destiny of time and space!
This strike... sent chills down Honglian's spine. It was transcendence, absolutely transcendence!
The person before us has ultimately laid an immortal foundation for his career in this world!
As the Azure Lord's blade fell downwards, even the Annihilation Tide was forcibly drawn into the blade.
This strike can encompass all right and wrong, all the myriad paths of the heavens, and also gather the tide of annihilation and the light of the blade, achieving the true meaning of returning to one's true nature!
