Destiny is ashes

Chapter 1084 Questions and Answers from the Far Heaven

Chapter 1084 Questions and Answers from the Far Heaven (Part 1) (4000 words)

Faced with 'Jinyuantian,' the largest shared database and resource pool that once connected all the Dao Courts, An Jing had plenty of questions to ask.

Putting everything else aside, after learning about the 'Five Methods of Harmony with the Dao' from the Ancestral Dragon, An Jing understood how Jin Yuantian 'conjured' an endless stream of new things.

Clearly, even the Endless Heaven, or even just the Endless Heaven itself as a single world, is a [Dao-harmonizing] realm.

Jin Yuantian is at least a Dao-aligned soldier, and its creator is none other than the Great Immortal Huaixu.

Or rather, the 'collection of all the distant heavens' created by the Great Immortal Huaixu is His Dao-integrating Armament, while a single distant heaven is merely a branch of His Dao-integrating Armament.

Therefore, even fragments of imperial weapons like the Haotian Mirror, which are at the Heavenly Venerable level, can be easily exchanged by Jin Yuantian as long as they meet the causal requirements—and even those Dao Integration inheritances can be exchanged by Jin Yuantian as long as they meet the requirements!

If that's the case, then in the far reaches of the heavens... is there a way to allow people in a world like Huaixu, which has been corrupted by demons, to also be in harmony with the Dao?

An Jing did not hold out much hope for this.

Putting aside other things, hundreds of thousands of years after the Huai Xu Demon Tribulation, so many eras, there must have been many Heavenly Venerables who were 'Walkers of the Farthest Heaven'. They must have thought about this issue, or even more—for example, if they couldn't merge with Huai Xu, wouldn't merging with the Farthest Heaven be the same as me merging with the Farthest Heaven?

Even if one is affiliated with the Far Heaven and becomes another new port of the Far Heaven as a laborer, or a port of the Dao-Merging Armed Forces under the command of the Great Immortal Huaixu, that is still Dao-Merging!
Once you become one with the Dao, once you become one with the Dao... then everything else can be discussed later!
But it is clear that, to date, no one who has reached the ultimate level has achieved the Dao.

There must be a reason behind all of this.

This is exactly the question An Jing wanted to ask.

So he asked directly.

“To the farthest reaches of the sky.”

He raised his head and met the silvery-blue radiance that resembled both an eye and the sun, shimmering with the grandeur of the Great Evolution. An Jing asked directly, "Why can't you assist other Lingxiao Realm cultivators in achieving Dao?"

"Hmm... this question is too broad, perhaps you can't answer it."

"Then, if you cannot answer, then tell me, in your opinion, in this 'outside the axis' realm, under the rampage of the Heavenly Demons, among the myriad realms that the Dao Court can reach, is there a world that can be used to achieve Dao integration?"

problem.

Every question has an answer.

'Going far' is a power that arises to obtain answers; it only demands the answers, without pursuing the process.

But 'Jinyuantian' is different.

Jin Yuantian is a power that emphasizes the process and naturally arrives at the answer.

Therefore, Jin Yuantian almost never gives direct answers to overly complicated questions.

It encourages people to think, experience, and understand for themselves... Why is a question a question? Why is an answer an answer? It deconstructs grand questions into smaller, simpler, and more original questions, and by asking all the small questions, the answers become self-evident and naturally appear in the mind of the questioner.

But this time, it's different.

Because the person who asked the question was [An Jing].

An entity that...should have received an answer without needing to ask.

The reason he didn't get the answer wasn't because he couldn't get it, but because there was an insurmountable barrier in front of him. This barrier wasn't his fault, but the failure of those who came before him.

He doesn't need to experience the process because he has already gone through it.

He is [naturally] a Dao-aligned being, or at least a Dao-aligned powerhouse. If everything in the Dao Court were normal, no, even if it were just an ordinary world, even a world without a supernatural system, with An Jing's abilities, he could probably create a path to immortality from nothing, then achieve Dao alignment, and even reach the realm of eternal life.

Therefore, Jin Yuantian will tell him.

Tell him 'why'.

The glow shifted.

A silvery-blue glow, the sun and eyes, met An Jing's gaze.

Then a beam of light shot out and enveloped Anjing.

The reason why the Far Heaven cannot assist any being in achieving Dao is because the Far Heaven relies on the local world.

A calm voice rang out, seemingly a gentle young male voice: "[The Far Heaven is a tool for communicating with the various heavenly courts; essentially, it's a 'chat group'—a chat group shouldn't have a physical form; it shouldn't usurp the space and become an entity equivalent to the world.]"

Therefore, in the initial design of 'Jinyuantian', Jinyuantian represents the power of 'Xuzhongkongzheng', which is a pure set of infinite laws without any real power. Therefore, it can easily connect infinite parallel universes with minimal, or even 'no', cost, and thus become a platform for connecting infinite possibilities.

Then, this set of laws draws power from the infinite universe, creating the answer from nothing, which is what you call the 'exchange' and 'result'—in reality, the Endless Heaven transcends the 'inner world, altar of the Dao,' the infinite ring of past and future. The Endless Heaven does not need cause and effect to achieve infinite exchange; this is merely a trial to hone the practitioners of the Endless Heaven.

[Of course, this was in its perfect state back then. The current Jin Yuan Tian does not possess such divine power because the universe itself is no longer complete.]

The reason why the Heavenly Realm cannot help people achieve enlightenment is this: because it was not designed with this function in mind. Although it can be added later, when all things in heaven and earth have been corrupted and polluted by demons, using the Heavenly Realm to achieve enlightenment is essentially the same as achieving enlightenment through the Heavenly Dao, and will also be subject to 'demonic invasion'.

Next, the second question.

Unfortunately, the answer is no.

[Outside the axis, all the worlds within the Dao Court's myriad heavens have been corrupted by demons; there is no world where one can normally merge with the Dao—if you see them, please do not believe them. Even if they are not corrupted by the Heavenly Demons, it does not mean that merging with them will prevent demonic invasion.]

Because 'the axis and the space outside the axis' represent 'everything,' which is the essence of all possibilities and impossibilities.

An Jing frowned. Jin Yuantian's answer to the first question did not surprise him, but it confirmed his guess. However, the second answer was somewhat beyond his expectations.

"What do you mean by 'not being corrupted by the Heavenly Demon doesn't mean you're immune to demonic invasion'?"

He said in a deep voice, "Does this mean..." [For beings living in an ordered world, it's hard to imagine disorder.]

Before An Jing could ask the question, 'Jin Yuan Tian?' gave the answer: [An Jing, a Jin Yuan Tian traveler, martial artist, immortal cultivator, ascension cultivator, founder of the Cave Heaven Method... You have begun to explore the fundamentals of the Great Dao, so you should be able to understand that the 'Small Cave Heaven' you possess is essentially a world.]

The world has different sizes. The so-called "grotto-heaven" is a "small world." It contains a well-functioning set of laws and principles, which you can call laws, truths, logic, morality, or even cosmological constants and theorems. These things are all benign and orderly.

Based on this, a small world can grow into a medium world, then a large world, and at the end of a large world is an "infinite great world" like the "Huai Xu Realm," which reaches the "infinite."

[Infinity—a truly wondrous word. If a world is infinitely large, then many interesting conjectures will arise.]

"Yes."

An Jing nodded slightly. He recalled the 'possibilities' that Zu Long had shown him before. He said softly, "The Ten Continents of Huai Xu seem to be everything, but beyond the Ten Continents, there are Hundred Continents, Thousand Continents, Ten Thousand Continents... Hundreds of millions, endless."

"As long as we are willing to explore, and as long as Huai Xu is truly infinite, then in infinite time, we may be able to find a 'continent' in Huai Xu that is almost exactly the same as the current Huai Xu Ten Continents, or even exactly the same. And there are infinitely many such continents."

"Of course, we can also say that since the Void is infinite, the possibilities of different continents are also infinite. Therefore, even if we spend an infinite amount of time, we may not be able to find a similar continent..."

That's indeed the case.

Jin Yuantian replied: "But you must understand that 'infinity' itself has a fundamental difference. In the ordinary, vast world, 'infinity' is a kind of 'potential infinity.' Its boundaries expand through exploration, and the depth of its laws deepens with the understanding of the strong. In such a universe, even if you search for infinite time, you can never exhaust its wonders, because its 'possibilities' are constantly being created in the process."

But Huai Xu is even more special; He is the pinnacle of the great world, a 'completed infinite entity,' and a 'minor world' in the truest sense.

In the realm of humility, the meaning of 'exploration' is not about pioneering, but about discovery. Because all the possibilities of this world, at all levels, have been fully encompassed within it from the very beginning, awaiting their unveiling.

What does this mean? It means that there are infinitely many distinct states, and also infinitely many states that are completely identical at the macro level. Furthermore, between any two seemingly identical states, you can still discern infinitely many 'intermediate states' with only subtle differences… This applies not only to states, but also to the infinite number of parallel universes.

Only a universe that meets this definition of 'complete infinity' is qualified to be called a 'small chiliocosm'.

Above all this lies another realm. The legal system governing the numerous 'minor worlds' is called the 'middle world'; the universe encompassing the boundless 'middle worlds' and proclaimed by its own 'core truth' is called the 'great world'. And the logical aggregate and ultimate unification of all 'great worlds' is the 'heavens'.

The very existence of the 'Heavens' is the axiom of 'order' and the ultimate definition of 'reason'. Anything that would logically lead to paradox is utterly impossible within the legal framework of the 'Heavens'. It is the bridgehead erected by the ancient Daoist court outside the 'axis' of chaos with supreme power, used to anchor 'logic' and 'truth'.

"And this bridgehead was destroyed."

He spoke softly, paused for a moment, took a deep breath, and said, "I think I understand... In the myriad heavens, things that are logically impossible will not happen. 'A world without demons will naturally not be corrupted by demons in its process of merging with the Dao.' This is an inescapable truth."

"And beyond the heavens..."

[This is a field where even the 'impossible' itself can happen.]

Jin Yuantian answered in a completely indifferent tone, then repeated: "There, anything is possible."

Everything is possible.

For beings living within 'order and logic', this statement is self-evident; it represents 'miracle,' a possibility worth anticipating. Everyone is happy to believe that in this world where anything is possible, as long as one is willing to fight and strive, then any wonderful future will appear, and any incredible good ending will happen.

However, if we are outside of logic, within paradox... then anything is possible, and that doesn't mean so much.

You can fail even without making mistakes.

Making a mistake can lead to success.

To confuse everything, to confuse the possibility of everything.

In a sense... this is a kind of 'degeneration'!
"Has the corruption of the Heavenly Demons already reached this point?"

An Jing frowned deeply: "Even above the Dao Integration stage, there are so many challenges, but in the end, we're stuck below the Dao Integration stage and can't move at all!"

"If we can't even take the first step, how can we possibly defeat the Heavenly Demon?"

This is a problem.

A radiant light guided An Jing's thoughts: Why would the Heavenly Demons go to such lengths to invade the heavens and prevent all living beings within them from attaining the 'Dao Integration' realm?

An Jing raised an eyebrow, and said thoughtfully, "You mean... as long as someone can break this blockade and achieve the Dao Integration, they can accomplish something that even the Heavenly Demons would not want to happen?"

His brows immediately relaxed, and An Jing understood: "That's right, you haven't lost either—although the Heavenly Demon has blocked all possibilities of achieving Dao Integration, it has only blocked 'everything in the past'—in other words, the future is still chaotic. As long as someone, like me, opens up a new path to Dao Integration, then starting with me, in all the myriad worlds, in those endless worlds, there will be another large number of people who can achieve Dao Integration!"

"Moreover, while the Heavenly Demon's blockade has caused all living beings in the world to become increasingly competitive, it has also created countless seeds for achieving Dao. In the past, this would have been meaningless, as very few of these seeds would actually meet the requirements. But now, due to the Heavenly Demon's suppression, all the possibilities that were originally offered for achieving Dao have been pushed down to the level of achieving Dao."

"In this way, when the blockade is broken... an unprecedented tide of Dao integration will emerge!"

Jin Yuantian did not answer.

The silvery-blue sun shone brightly because people themselves had arrived at the correct answer.

But at that moment, An Jing suddenly raised his head and looked at the silvery-blue sun.

Without hesitation, and without stopping after receiving an answer, An Jing immediately asked the next question.

"Jin Yuantian—or rather, the projection of the Great Immortal Huaixu?"

An Jing said with certainty, "Although I guess you are definitely not the original body, you are definitely not the Jin Yuantian of the past either. To put it simply, when you asked me for information about the Great Immortal Huai Xu at the beginning of Huai Xu's creation, it was to allow yourself to evolve and gain more authority, right?"

"I don't care whether you are His projection or His Dao soldier imitating Him—in short, can you contact that [Hong Yuan], that [Great Immortal Huai Xu] now?"

【cannot】

Unfortunately, Jin Yuantian gave an extremely swift response to this.
