Chapter 63 Court Session

On Wednesday morning, fat boss Johnny was pushed into the Jingang City City Court in a wheelchair by his daughter, where his case was heard today.

Jingang City is very prosperous, so there are many cases that need to be heard in court every day. Some small cases will go through the fast court, but criminal cases such as injury must have a formal trial process.

You have to give both the accused and the plaintiff the right to defend themselves and assert their legal rights, which is written in the Charter.

Johnny looked back at his daughter and said, "Push me somewhere else. I feel sick when I see people who will do anything for money!"

The fat daughter looked at the lawyer awkwardly, "I'm sorry, I..."

The lawyer shrugged nonchalantly and said, "It's your choice." He shook his head and turned to walk towards the young people.

The fat daughter pushed Johnny aside and said, "You shouldn't say that about him. He's a lawyer. It would be easy for a lawyer to cause trouble for us."

Johnny didn't care at all. "If he wants to come, then let him come. These vampires won't come to do anything if there's no benefit. Why do they want us to settle out of court?"

"I'm telling you, don't even think about it!"

When he thought of his miserable plea that night and their brutal behavior that ignored his plea, it was no longer a question of money for him. What he wanted was to vent his anger!
The fat daughter felt even more uneasy. "You should at least listen to what he has to say, maybe..."

"Don't even think about it. Even if I die and fall from here, I won't listen to even one more word from him!"

No one could control Johnny's temper. Maybe the woman who had left him could do something, but she left.

The fat daughter sighed, "I think we're going to screw this up."

Johnny snorted coldly and said nothing. He was already thinking about telling the judge in court how despicable these lawyers and those little devils were, just like in some movies he had seen, with righteous words. The judge wanted to laugh, but held back. "I'll keep an eye on it." Then he looked at the young men in the dock and their lawyers. "The plaintiff didn't hire a lawyer, so let's start with you."

The lawyer stood up and bowed. "I'd like to trouble you to take some time to hear this case. I'm Anthony, a lawyer from the Diamond Law Firm. I'm currently handling this case."

"Your Honor, first I need to introduce my client..."

The lawyer produced some materials and told the judge that at least four of his clients were diagnosed with manic disorder and showed violent tendencies.

At the same time, he said that the whole case was not a crime of passion or a random crime. They were just a group of young people who were blinded by friendship and lost their reason.

At the request of their good friend, they tried to retaliate against the boss who oppressed and exploited the apprentices, but because they were young, psychologically immature, and had a tendency to violence, things had serious but not irreparable consequences.
