Chapter 1130 Farewell to the Padric Alliance
After the dinner officially began, Peter quietly went to the terrace and took a deep breath of the cool night air.

"Da da da!"

Just as Peter was gazing at the night view, he heard footsteps behind him.

Peter knew who it was without even turning around.

"A wonderful speech, Peter."

Diana walked over to him and leaned against the railing. "Especially about the part about unconditional love, do you really believe in it?"

Peter gazed at the distant silhouette of Gotham City and said to Diana, "I believe people can change, Diana. Maybe not overnight, but someday."

"Including that new girl named Machima?"

Yes, including Machima.

After a moment of silence, Diana said, "I can sense that the girl's heart is not as harmless as she appears."

“I heard from Bruce about her time in the Batcave and with the Laughing Bat. That’s not something a normal girl would do. Now she calls you Dad and acts like a little angel.”

Diana shook her head and asked, "Don't you think this is suspicious?"

"Perhaps, but we shouldn't make that judgment from the start, Diana."

Peter wanted to say something more, but then he heard familiar footsteps behind him.

With a creak, the terrace door opened again, and Machima herself stepped out.

She was holding a small plate with a delicate chocolate cake on it.

“Dad, I saved you a piece of cake. Barry almost ate it.”

As she was talking, Machima glanced at The Flash, who was fighting with Hal for another piece of cake in the hall.

Peter took the plate and patted Machima's head: "Thank you, sweetheart."

Machima flashed an overly mature smile, then seemed to realize something and quickly reverted to her previous obedient expression.

"I'm going to find my sister Seresa."

After glancing at Diana, Machima quickly left.

Diana watched Machima's figure disappear, raising an eyebrow: "See? That's it. She's playing the role of a good daughter, but she slips up every now and then."

"Or she's trying to be a good daughter, but from time to time she reverts to her old self."

Peter countered.

Diana laughed: "You're such an incurable optimist, Peter. Maybe that's why you've managed to get all these people together."

Peter took a bite of the cake, and the sweet taste melted in his mouth.

He looked at the cheerful scene in the hall—Bruce, having overheard something, was laughing heartily with Clark.

Barry and Hal fought over the last piece of cake.

With Fleur's help, Gwen was finally able to breathe freely and chat happily with Raven and Eve.

Azu listened attentively to the advice of Mars Hunter and Mr. Excellence.

Meanwhile, Machima had found Ceresa, and the two girls were talking.

“You know, Diana,” Peter said softly, “in yesterday’s battle, when I faced Barbatos, I saw a possible future.”

Diana pondered: "See the future?"

Then she turned her head slightly, and the moonlight flowed through her long, black hair.

“What future do you see, Peter? I noticed you were holding back during your speech.”

Peter's gaze swept across the noisy hall, then he turned to look at the night outside.

"Because of this event, the entire multiverse has become more unstable."

He slowly said to Diana, "Many substances and energies from outside the main universe have appeared, including the chaotic forces I mentioned earlier—the Batmen of the Dark Multiverse are so powerful because they have been corrupted and polluted by the warp gods of the Warhammer universe."

Diana's expression turned serious: "What does this mean?"

“A new threat is emerging.”

Peter continued, “Last night I went to the Dream Kingdom and found that some important books were missing. What’s more worrying is that after I came back, I could no longer contact the Endless Family’s death, and I couldn’t even sense the Sandman’s presence. In the past, I could feel his presence in the kingdom.”

Diana gripped her wine glass tightly: "Aren't they in this universe anymore?"

She knew that Peter's three magical artifacts were stolen from the Sandman, and that Peter had inherited some of the Sandman's powers.

"do not know."

Peter said in a low voice, "I saw fragments of the future. The tenth metal we used to defeat Barbatos gained new abilities. It can easily create and erase matter. Then a war broke out over the tenth metal, and this war completely changed the nature of the world."

“We couldn’t get everything back to normal, but in the rush I jotted down some key words.”

"What keywords?"

"Lantern, Heart of Darkness, and you—Wonder Woman, along with the Dark Gods, Atlantis will also undergo a dramatic change, it will fully surface."

Peter looked directly into Diana's eyes. "Most importantly, the Wall of Origin has been completely broken, Diana. What we are about to face is a threat to the entire universe."

Peter told Diana about some of the images he had seen the day before, and his concerns.

Although he defeated Barbatos using the Tenth Metal, Peter always felt that the method was too intense and left many problems behind.

Even though Barbatos was killed and the Batman Who Laughs was imprisoned in the World Tree by Peter, he still had some ominous premonitions.

After all, I've always been quite accurate when it comes to perception.

After listening to Peter's words, Diana remained silent for a moment.

"It sounds like we still have a lot of trouble ahead of us."

A bitter smile played on her lips: "But before the end of the world comes, why not enjoy this night?"

Diana raised her glass to Peter, then magically produced a glass of wine from behind her back and handed it to him.

"Cheers to life before the apocalypse."

Peter paused for a moment, then took the cup.

When did Wonder Woman learn magic like Zatanna?
While complaining, Peter clinked glasses with her, and then the two returned to the lively hall together.

Ceresia immediately ran over and excitedly grabbed Peter's hand.

“Dad, Mr. Bruce said we can go to the home theater to watch a movie.”

She excitedly said, "I convinced everyone to watch 'Puss in Boots'."

Peter stroked her hair. "Go ahead then, but remember not to stay up too late."

After giving Ceresa a few instructions, Bruce came over and greeted the two of them.

"Godfather, Diana, I hope I haven't interrupted your conversation."

Bruce walked over and said, "But there's a surprise in the lower room that I think you'll be interested in."

Peter and Diana exchanged a glance, then followed Bruce through the corridor to a carved wooden door.

Bruce pushed open the door, and a burst of cheerful jazz music immediately filled his ears.

The lower-level rooms were more spacious than the upper-level rooms, where a full jazz band was playing on a small stage, and soft lights shone down from the ceiling, illuminating the figures spinning in the dance floor.

Peter looked at the scene before him, somewhat bewildered.

Bruce even prepared a relaxing bar?!
“Wow,” Diana exclaimed softly, “How did you manage to arrange all of this in such a short time, Bruce?”

Bruce smiled slightly. "Wayne Manor is always ready to embrace any possibility."

“Mr. Patrick”

As Peter was surveying the dance floor, a familiar voice came from behind him.

Turning around, Peter found Hermione Granger standing in front of him.

The girl, who had grown quite a bit taller, had her curly hair meticulously styled and wore an elegant deep red dress. Her cheeks were slightly flushed, whether from excitement or nervousness, it was hard to tell.

"Would you like to dance with me?"

Hermione asked, her eyes sparkling.

Peter awkwardly touched the back of his neck: "Actually, I'm not very good at dancing."

It's not that he can't dance, but rather that there are quite a few women here with whom he has ties, and he's afraid of entering a battleground.

He didn't see Diana beside him, who was staring at him with an unfriendly look.

“I can’t either,” Hermione quickly replied, “just like we did at the Goblet of Fire last time.”

"Okay, but don't blame me for stepping on your foot."

Peter reluctantly reached out his hand.

It's okay, it's just dancing, it won't cause any trouble, Peter reassured himself.

On the other side, Fleur Delacour witnessed this scene and sighed in disappointment.

She had originally planned to invite Peter to dance, but she was too late. Now she could only watch as Hermione led Peter onto the dance floor. The band started playing a soothing waltz, and Peter and Hermione joined the dance.

At first, their steps were a little stiff, but they quickly found their rhythm.

How's Hogwarts doing lately?

Peter asked, guiding Hermione to spin.

Hermione leaned close and whispered, “We’re fighting Voldemort’s forces, but it’s not too bad this time. Harry, me, Ron, and the Patrick’s forces can handle it, even though Raven, Loki, Mark, and Tom aren’t here.”

Peter raised an eyebrow: "Are you sure? I've heard that Death Eaters are becoming more and more active in the wizarding world."

"Okay, maybe it's not entirely without problems."

Hermione acknowledged, "But compared to the multiverse threat you face, sir, our problem is relatively manageable."

The music changed to a faster tune, and Peter and Hermione quickened their dance steps accordingly.

Around the two, other dancers were also immersed in the dance.

At the other end of the room, Horus was dancing with Luna Lovegood.

This combination was surprisingly harmonious.

Horus wore a simple black robe, while Luna, as always, was dreamlike, wearing a pale purple dress adorned with stars, her wand inserted in her hair like a hair ornament.

It had been a long time since the two had been separated from the world of injustice, and they hadn't been able to be together so closely.

"Did you see those harassing horseflies?"

Luna asked in her distinctively ethereal voice, her eyes fixed on the top of Horus's head, "They're particularly active today."

Horus paused for a moment, then said to her, “Yes, sometimes I can sense them, and sometimes I can hear some chaotic whispers in my ear.”

"Oh, that's dangerous."

Luna said seriously, "Dad said that these harassing flies can give people strange ideas. Once he thought he was a rubber duck and spent the whole day soaking in the bathtub."

Horus's lips twitched slightly, but he quickly regained control of his facial expression.

Luna was silent for a moment, then whispered to Horus, "I heard that this time it was you who led the Padric Alliance. Can you tell me about your adventures in dealing with those Dark Bat Legions?"

Horus nodded. "Of course."

He had a good impression of Luna and was willing to share his experiences with her.

"What are you looking at, sir?"

Hermione asked, as the music guided Peter to complete a spin.

“Watching Luna and Horus dance,” Peter smiled. “I never expected the two of them to get along so well.”

Hermione followed his gaze: "Horus and Luna? Yes, they get along remarkably well. Luna told me that Horus can see things that ordinary people can't."

The music gradually slowed down, turning into a gentle song.

Peter looked to one side.

He noticed Alfred teaching Machima to dance.

Machima's expression was one Peter had never seen before—no pretense, just a little girl enjoying dancing.

When she noticed Peter looking at her, she didn't immediately put on her well-behaved mask, but instead gave Peter a slightly shy smile.

The music slowly stopped, Hermione was slightly out of breath, her cheeks flushed from dancing.

She released Peter's hand, a hint of reluctance flashing in her eyes, but she still maintained a polite smile.

"Thank you, sir. Although I would like to continue jumping, I'm sure there are others waiting to invite you."

Hermione's gaze drifted almost imperceptibly to Fleur, who was standing not far away, pretending to be intently admiring the oil painting on the wall.

Peter followed Hermione's gaze and nodded knowingly: "Thank you for dancing with me, Hermione."

Hermione gave him a gentle hug, then turned away with some reluctance and merged into the crowd to reunite with Harry and Ron.

Peter straightened his slightly disheveled suit and walked towards Hibiscus.

As he approached, Fleur's back straightened noticeably, but she remained stubbornly staring at the oil painting depicting the Wayne family's ancestors.

"Isn't this painting interesting?"

Peter stood beside her. "It's said that this Isaac Wayne was a participant in the American Revolutionary War."

Furong gave a soft "hmm" but still didn't turn her head.

"Hibiscus".

Peter said softly, "Would you do me the honor of dancing?"

Since the young woman had come all the way from another dimension to help him, Peter felt he had to show her some hospitality.

Furong finally turned around, a hint of undisguised joy flashing in her sapphire-like eyes.

“I thought you had forgotten I existed, Mr. Patrick. We’ve only exchanged a few words since I came into this world.”

"Hime said softly, her voice carrying a distinctive French accent, which was more pronounced than usual," Furong said.

Of course not.

Peter held out his hand, "But as the host, I have to take care of all the guests."

Hibiscus placed her hand in his palm and slightly raised her chin: "Women of the Delacour family never accept invitations easily, but for your sake, sir, I will make an exception."

The band then played a French chanson, which Peter recognized as "La Vie en Rose".

Fleur's eyes lit up immediately, and she reached out to pull Peter onto the dance floor.

Unlike Hermione's vivaciousness, Fleur's dance moves are graceful and professional, with every turn and every step revealing innate elegance.

"Sir, I would like to study the magic of your world and learn about the different schools of magic, is that alright?"

Furong said she wanted to stay here longer.

"Of course, you can stay for a while if you wish."

Peter naturally wouldn't refuse. "Zatana is willing to mentor some talented magic learners. I believe you can learn a lot from her."

Furong's eyes lit up immediately: "Really?"

"of course it's true."

Since Zatana has been idle and taking care of the children anyway, it's a good opportunity to find her a student.

The next day, early in the morning.

Sunlight streamed into the living room through the windows of Wayne Manor.

Peter stood at the door, bidding farewell to his allies who were leaving one after another.

Atomic Girl Eve and the second-generation Earth Defense Force members were among the first to leave.

Eve hugged Peter and whispered, "Our world will always be grateful for your help, sir. If you ever need us, just give us a call."

"Take care, Eve."

Peter returned the hug, then handed each of them an exquisite badge. "Thank you for answering Raven's call to come and participate in this battle. This badge contains my magic. If you are in danger, hold it and it will unleash powerful magic."

Eve observed the badge with curiosity; it glowed faintly in her hand, as if it were alive.

“Incredible, I can feel the energy flowing within it.”

The Hogwarts group also accepted the badge with equal surprise.

Hermione examined the badge carefully as she took it: "This kind of magic... I've never seen it before. What system does it belong to?"

"A product of the Dream Realm, combined with some runes."

Peter explained, "It will work even across universes."

Harry carefully put the badge away and thanked Peter.

Ron curiously shook the badge, but Hermione snatched it away: "Don't touch it, Ron, this is a powerful magical item."

Sirius Black and Professor Lupin shook hands firmly with Peter.

“We will always be grateful for everything you have done for us,” Lupin said with a smile. “We will come to help whenever you need it.”

Sirius grinned: "If we get the chance, let's team up and beat those damn Death Eaters up again."

Peter smiled and said, "Of course."

The Marvel Avengers members then stepped forward to say goodbye to Peter and the other "fathers".

Captain America shook hands with Peter: "This battle was impressive, Peter. I hope we can continue to fight side by side in the future."

Tony Stark examined the badge closely: "This thing works really well. I'll definitely have to study it properly someday. No, I mean, thanks, Patrick."

Thor came up and gave Peter a tight bear hug. "Goodbye, sir. I hope we meet again. If you ever need any help from the power of thunder, just call my name."
