Chapter 1102 Dad's Here! The Dark Knight Legion
Chapter 1102 Dad's Here! The Dark Knight Legion
Valley of the Kings, the false tomb of Has-Set.
The gates of darkness slowly opened, and dimensional rifts of distorted shadows gradually unfolded.
Thick, dark energy poured out, instantly engulfing the ancient murals that remained in the tomb.
Raven, Clark, Diana, and Azu are all bound by an invisible yet powerful evil force.
No matter how hard they struggled, their bodies were completely immobilized by the suppression of the forces originating from the dark multiverse.
The muscle fibers tore with pain, the bones groaned under the strain, and the soul felt as if it were being gripped by cold iron clamps and dragged into the abyss.
In the stalemate, Raven suddenly raised her head, her eyes beneath the hood looking at the shadow that had stepped out first from the Dark Portal, exuding the most intense aura of evil.
Is this the Barbatos Dad was talking about?!
Raven's breathing became heavier.
The shadow's outline vaguely resembled that of a bat, but it was more distorted and towering, as if it were formed from pure malice.
Raven glanced to the side with difficulty and found that Bruce was gone!
She didn't even realize that Bruce had mysteriously disappeared!
"Bruce...where did Bruce go?!"
Raven shouted at the bat shadow that appeared, using all her strength.
The evil shadowy figure emitted a chilling, eerie sound.
Looking for Batman?
Shadow asked in a mocking tone, as if admiring the prey's final struggle.
“Look around you, he is everywhere, yet nowhere to be found.”
As Raven listened to the shadowy figure's words, she endured the pain and the corrosive sensation, and with difficulty, she turned her eyes to look around the tomb.
To her shock, several figures emerged continuously from the opened spatial rift.
These figures all bear the silhouette of Batman.
There's Batman clad in heavy armor, a killing machine; Batman shrouded in crimson energy, wearing a light ring; Batman of immense size, radiating endless chill; and Batwoman wielding a trident, her eyes cold and indifferent like a deity.
There are also many more dark Batmen in various forms, all filled with despair and an aura of death. These people are like beings who have crawled out of the deepest nightmares, standing silently in the darkness, their eyes focused on the four trapped Raven.
"Now, witness true fear..."
The evil shadow raised its hand, and even more bizarre dark magic began to condense, intending to completely devour Raven and her companions, turning them into new dark servants.
The pain intensified instantly; Raven felt as if her soul was being torn apart.
Just at the critical moment!
"In the name of Naboo, Order, descend!"
Accompanied by a solemn and magnificent announcement, seemingly from beyond the ages, the entire tomb was shaken.
A dazzling golden light, like sunlight tearing through dark clouds, suddenly pierced through the top of the tomb.
The golden light instantly dispelled the sticky darkness and enveloped Raven and her companions.
At the critical moment, Dr. Fate arrived.
The golden armor of Anko shimmered with endless mysterious runes. Doctor Fate hovered in the air, and the vast magic of order and dark energy collided violently, emitting a sizzling sound of corrosion.
Doctor Fate forcibly interfered with the evil shadow's binding magic, buying the four a precious moment of respite.
"go!"
The voice of Doctor Fate resounded directly in their minds.
The next second, a powerful teleportation spell was activated.
A burst of golden light flashed, and Raven, Clark, Diana, and Azu vanished from their original positions, leaving only the angry roar of the evil shadows and the silent gaze of the Dark Knights.
Before Doctor Fate fled, he glanced at the open Dark Portal and the Dark Batmen, his eyes beneath the golden mask unusually grave.
The tomb was swallowed by darkness once more, leaving only the gaping dark gate and a powerful dark army.
A few hours later.
Gotham City, outside the Crater Maze.
Loki, Nightwing, Starfire, and Beast Boy were catching their breath after their battle with the Riddler and his robots.
Just as Loki was about to contact Peter, he suddenly received a message from the other "Fathers of Sorrow".
The message says that Raven and Azu have gone to the Great Tomb of Khufu in the Valley of the Kings, where they detected traces of Batman.
"Hopefully they can find Batman."
Loki, unaware that Raven and her companions had already encountered Barbatos and the Dark Bat Legion, casually remarked.
Before he could finish speaking, a chilling rustling sound came from the shadows of the building.
The eerie sound was like claws scraping against rocks, or like suppressed gasps.
"what sound?"
The beast boy warily transformed into a hunting dog, his nose twitching.
Suddenly!
A figure as swift as lightning suddenly pounced out of the darkness, heading straight for the nearest spark.
The attacker was a robin!
Robin, his face covered by a metal mask, his mouth torn and drooling, lunged at Starfire with sharp claws.
"Whoosh!"
"careful!"
Nightwing reacted swiftly, sweeping his Cali Stick in an attempt to stop the attacking Robin Hound.
"Oh!"
The calf clashes with Robin's arm, producing a metallic clanging sound.
Nightwing felt a tremendous force surge through him, making his arm go numb.
Looking down, he was shocked to find that his attack had barely caused any effective damage to his opponent.
"Hehe... Hahaha..."
"Robin Hound" let out a maniacal laugh, its movements unabated as it continued its frenzied attack on Starfire.
The Starfire Energy Cannon was fired, but the opponent dodged it with an uncanny movement.
Immediately afterwards, a second and a third similar "Robin Hound" leaped out of the shadows and pounced on Beast Boy and Loki, respectively.
"What the hell are these things?!"
The beast boy, transformed into a giant bear, slammed down with his paw, but only left shallow scratches on "Robin Hound." Instead, Robin's fur was torn apart by Robin's claws, causing him to roar in pain.
Nightwing was locked in combat with one of the "Robin Hounds," and the fight became increasingly terrifying.
The fighting style of these monsters had a vaguely familiar feel to it, seemingly similar to the fighting style Batman had taught him.
Moreover, he discovered that these monsters seemed to be immune to damage from his own weapons.
My own Cali stick was completely ineffective against these monsters.
Where did these monsters come from?
Nightwing was in a state of utter shock.
the other side.
Loki uses the magic of Hogwarts and the power of his Frost Giant bloodline to constantly fight these monsters.
His magical ice spikes can temporarily freeze their movements, and his illusions can interfere with their senses.
But Loki soon discovered that these "Robins" seemed to have no sense of pain or fear.
"Oh!"
Loki unleashed the Unforgivable Curse, sending the approaching Robin Hound flying, but the rest pounced on him.
Dodging the frenzied attacks, Loki's forehead was covered in fine beads of sweat, and his breathing became rapid.
The long hours of exploring the maze and continuous battles began to take their toll on him.
Just as everyone was caught in a fierce battle and facing constant danger.
"Loki, bow your head!"
A familiar voice came.
To the astonishment of Starfire and the others, a blue figure descended from the sky at a terrifying speed exceeding the speed of sound, like a meteor falling to earth, and punched "Robin Hound," who was lunging at Loki's back.
"boom!"
The enormous impact sent "Robin Hound" flying backward like a cannonball, crashing heavily into the maze wall.
The solid rock wall instantly cracked, and "Robin Hound" twitched twice before falling still, utterly dead. The newcomer hovered in mid-air, wearing a blue and black uniform and glasses.
"mark!"
Seeing Mark arrive, Loki breathed a sigh of relief. "Good timing, my brother."
"I still hope you'll call me Invincible Young Hero."
Mark quickly replied, "Or you can call me Farm Hero."
Loki: "."
He didn't realize that Mark was quite particular about making a grand entrance.
With a cough, Mark scanned the battlefield and instantly analyzed the situation.
He then activated again, leaving afterimages in the air, his fist carrying the power to shatter the starry sky as he slammed into the other two "Robin Hounds".
Faced with Mark's absolute strength and speed, "Robin Hound's" uncanny defenses seemed to be greatly diminished.
"Boom! Boom!"
After several muffled thuds and the sound of bones breaking, the other two Robin Hounds also collapsed to the ground, incapacitated.
Just as Mark was about to make his move on the other "Robins," a slow, mocking applause came from the depths of the shadows.
"Clap clap clap..."
Amidst applause, a figure slowly walked out.
The opponent, dressed in a suit combining bat and clown elements, with a crazed smile on his lips, slowly walked towards the crowd.
The person who arrived was none other than "Batman," who had given the card to the riddle teller.
At the feet of the "Batman" figure, a mix of Joker and Batman images, follows another, slightly larger and quieter Robin dog.
It seems that Batman was neither angry nor saddened by the loss of a few hounds.
"A great performance, kids."
The eerie voice of "Batman" rang out, "Especially you, little guy from the multiverse, your performance impressed me greatly."
After speaking to Mark, Batman looked around at the group of people who seemed to be facing a formidable enemy, and his smile became even more unrestrained.
Mark sensed the eeriness emanating from the "Batman" before him and knew that this Batman, who was likely from another world, was not someone to be trifled with.
Beast Boy swallowed hard and said in a low voice, "I think what we should do is get out of here as soon as possible."
"Escape? Where do you think you can escape to?"
Before Beast Boy could finish speaking, Batman interrupted him.
As he spoke, he opened his arms as if embracing the entirety of Gotham.
"I must say, I did a good job of luring you all here."
"Batman" said smugly, "Look, I'm still a strategist. I've broken free from the shackles of a detective and the constraints of a hero. The one standing before you now is the real me—pure chaos and dark wisdom. And you, from the moment you stepped into this labyrinth, have already fallen into my trap and been tricked into this final stage."
As he spoke, the surrounding air began to surge like a tide.
Countless dark figures slowly appeared behind "Batman".
Loki's shocked eyes saw several Batmen appear.
Standing next to Loki, Mark stared in disbelief at Batman, who exuded a powerful and evil aura.
Why are there so many Batmen?
At this point, Mark was unaware that Bruce and Raven's actions had successfully drawn in the Dark Legion from the Dark Multiverse.
Knowing the situation was critical, Mark calmed himself down.
The only solution now is for Loki to go back and call his father, while he stays here and deals with these Batmen.
With a "whoosh," Mark flew to the front of the group and said to Loki behind him, "Loki, take them away and then inform Father. Leave this to me."
He was prepared to fight to the death to buy time for everyone to escape.
Holding the "Robin Hound" chain, Batman seemed to have heard the funniest joke, letting out a series of sharp laughs.
"Hahahaha! Escape? Notify us? Poor children, don't you understand? It's all too late! You will all experience this truth together—darkness is the final destination."
As he spoke, the Batmen around him gradually moved closer.
Just as the Dark Batmen were about to make their move—
A calm yet firm voice clearly reached the ears of everyone present, instantly dispelling the gloom in their hearts.
"No, you can't do it."
Upon hearing that familiar voice, Mark immediately became excited.
It’s dad!
Dad's here!
Mark looked up, excitedly gazing in the direction from which the sound came.
Under everyone's gaze, a figure bathed in the gentle light slowly walked in.
Upon seeing Peter's appearance, Mark and Loki almost simultaneously breathed a sigh of relief, their tense nerves instantly relaxing.
Nightwing stared at Peter with his mouth agape in shock: "Mr. Patrick!"
Upon hearing Nightwing's words, Starfire and Beast Boy looked at the legendary "Peter Patrick" with curiosity and awe.
Peter, who arrived just in time, first glanced at Mark and Loki to make sure they were unharmed.
His gaze then fell upon Batman, who was surrounded by darkness and leading Robin, along with the other members of the Dark Knights.
Leading a Robin dog, dressed in all black, wearing metal goggles covered in spikes, with a clown-like pale face and yellow teeth, this dark Batman must be the Batman Who Laughs.
In Peter's previous life, even though he didn't know much about the major events, he had heard of this guy's great reputation.
The Bat Who Laughs is Bruce Wayne from the Dark Multiverse, and a member of the Dark Knights.
The other party is a combination of the Joker and Batman.
As for this guy's origins, Peter remembered that Batman was accidentally captured by the Joker one day.
The Joker had previously killed all of Batman's villains, including Catwoman, as well as Commissioner James Gordon.
Afterward, the Joker kidnapped all the families in Gotham City with both parents and an only child, shooting off parents in front of Batman (imitating the deaths of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne in Crime Alley) while continuously infecting children with a special nitrous oxide toxin.
These unbearable memories and torment drove Batman to madness. He broke free of his restraints and snapped the Joker's neck, but the Joker's most potent toxin also infected Batman and transformed him.
After being infected, Batman's mind gradually changed.
Finally, after his complete transformation, he devised a plan to lure and kill Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Robin, and Batgirl, who knew him best and were probably the first to notice his changes, and then transformed his own son, Damian Wayne.
This guy also turned children infected with the clown virus into one Laughing Robin after another.
Those Nightwing, Damian, and others he transformed all became his "Robin Hounds."
The Batman Who Laughs possesses Batman's intellect and wealth, along with the Joker's boundless madness. His universe is certainly no match for this madman's antics. Even a non-mad Batman has plans to wipe out all the superheroes, let alone a fully corrupted Batman Who Laughs.
He quickly killed all the superheroes, and even Alfred the butler was infected and transformed.
Finally, the Batman Who Laughs, utterly bored, destroyed his own universe and accepted the offer from the Dark Lord Barbatos.
As for the other Batmen
Peter turned his gaze to the other Batmen who exuded a dark aura.
These aren't exactly benevolent characters either; they're all corrupted Batmen.
This includes the scene Peter witnessed last time Batman was ravaged on the "Golden Toilet".
The Batman surrounded by crimson energy and wearing a lamp ring should be the Dawn Lantern.
The massive Batman, radiating endless chill, is supposed to be ruthless and iron-fisted. This guy has donned Ares' helmet, which has enhanced his abilities, but his mind has also been corrupted.
The female Batman, wielding a trident and with a cold, godlike gaze, must be a drowned vengeful spirit.
Peter remembers that in this dark multiverse, Atlantis flooded Gotham. In order to completely eliminate the threat of Atlantis, the corrupted Batwoman underwent a complete transformation, gaining the ability to breathe underwater, accelerate healing, and manipulate water.
As Peter gazed at the Dark Batman, information about these people flashed through his mind.
However, the most difficult one to deal with now is the Laughing Bat.
He knew how terrifying the enemy before him was.
This guy is the ultimate product of Batman's wisdom and Joker's chaos, a disaster capable of overturning the entire multiverse.
"The Laughing Bat..."
Peter pulled himself out of his thoughts, turned to the Bat of Laughter, and slowly said, "Your game won't work here."
The Batman Who Laughs seemed to freeze for a moment, his crimson eyes fixed on Peter as if trying to see through him.
The Dark Knights began to stir, and endless malice surged toward Peter like a tidal wave.
Peter simply stood there quietly, the gentle light emanating from him shutting out the darkness.
