But how could Sun Wukong let it go? Those three years of darkness, his master's suffering, and the blood feud in his heart transformed into endless rage.

Ignoring the Bodhisattva's advice, he struck Red Boy's head with a thunderous blow.

"boom!"

The blood mist exploded, and the little demon king Red Boy's eyes widened as he spat out blood and collapsed to the ground.

The little demons outside the cave scattered in fright, and the Dragon Girl quickly untied the iron chains of Tang Sanzang and Zhu Bajie.

Tang Sanzang exclaimed in shock: "Wukong! You...you killed Sudhana!"

Pigsy scratched his head: "Great Sage, this is troublesome."

Sun Wukong sheathed his staff, panting as he knelt before Guanyin's throne: "Bodhisattva, please forgive me! I hate him for blinding me for three years, and for imprisoning my master for three years. I swear I will not be human if I do not avenge this!"

Guanyin sighed, her gaze complex: "The cycle of cause and effect continues. You monkey, you have ultimately sown the seeds of murder."

But since things have come to this, come with me back to the South China Sea to deal with the aftermath.

Inside the Fire Cloud Cave, a bloody standoff came to an end.

Red Boy's body lay in a pool of blood; three years of grudges ended with a single blow.

In the distance, the purple aura of Biyou Palace still lingered, while the alchemy furnace in the hidden realm had already been lit.

In the chaotic world of Journey to the West, various forces intertwine, and interests and emotions become entangled like a spider web.

Jiang Wang's Primordial Purple Qi will illuminate the Gate of Laws; Tongtian's determination will reshape the glory of the Jie Sect; and the integrity of the human race will forge an immortal foundation.

And with Sun Wukong's golden cudgel adding another blood debt, the journey to protect his master on the westward journey became even more arduous.

Jiang Wang left Biyou Palace, his heart filled with turbulent emotions.

With the Primordial Purple Qi in hand, the chaotic power flowed through his meridians, as if billions of stars were exploding within his body.

He chuckled softly: "Tongtian is indeed a man of honor, abandoning his holy position and not being swayed by quick success."

"And what about me, Jiang Wang? Am I not the same?"

Behind him, the Three Sovereigns stood side by side, and the hexagrams of Fuxi flickered faintly, as if they were deducing the secrets of heaven.

Suirenshi held a fire staff, the flames leaping and illuminating his ancient face, while Shennong stroked his beard in deep thought, surrounded by the spiritual energy of plants and trees.

These three ancient sages of the human race were all extraordinary in their own way, but on the matter of integrity, they were absolutely unwavering.

When the probing question was uttered, Jiang Wang was half-believing and half-doubting.

The human heart is as vast as the sea; when faced with temptation, who knows if one might capsize? But the responses of the three emperors filled him with admiration.

Fuxi said, “Fellow Daoist, since Fuxi drew the trigrams, Suiren drilled wood, and Shennong tasted hundreds of herbs, the human race has established itself on sincerity.”

Stealing the Primordial Essence Pill? That's not something a human would do. We guarantee it's for the sake of the future.

The Jie Sect and the human race should have joined forces to resist the Heavenly Dao; why did they have to fight amongst themselves?

Suirenshi nodded: "Fire gives birth to all things, but it also burns the body."

Achieving sainthood quickly is like drinking poison to quench thirst; we do not wish for it.

Shennong smiled and said, "All herbs have poisonous and medicinal properties, and so do elixirs."

But integrity, like good medicine, is what allows things to endure.

Upon hearing this, Jiang Wang took out two Hunyuan Pills, whose light illuminated the faces of the three people.

"Alright! These two pills will be exchanged for future purple energy."

"Human integrity, I, Jiang Wang, will remember it."

The transaction was completed, and three strands of human purple energy were acquired. Although they were not as pure as the Tongtian type, they carried the vibrant clan fortune. When they were integrated into the primordial purple energy, they complemented each other perfectly.

Jiang Wang cupped his hands in greeting: "Until we meet again, take care, all three of you."

With a flicker, he vanished into the hidden void.

Within the hidden realm, Jiang Wang headed straight for the Dao altar.

Fortune flows like a river, surging into the Great Dao Hall between the eyebrows.

"Exchange for Great Dao Merit!"

At his command, the void trembled, and golden light of merit rained down, cleansing the source of one's innate talent.

Multiple spellcasting was originally his unique skill, capable of multiplying magical power tenfold, and now it has been upgraded layer by layer.

The first level is like a stream; the second level is like a river; and so on until the tenth level, the magical power is like a vast ocean, boundless and majestic.

Jiang Wang stood up, flipped his palm, and the phantom of the alchemy furnace appeared: "Mass production of Hunyuan Pills will be a piece of cake from now on."

"The Laws Prove the Way, I have arrived!"

On Luojia Mountain in the South China Sea, the Three Lights Divine Water finally took shape in Guanyin's jade cauldron.

Each of those six water droplets was a condensation of the essence of the sun and moon and the spiritual energy of the South China Sea. They were crystal clear, and it seemed as if the light and shadow of the three realms flowed within them.

Guanyin Bodhisattva recalled the tragic scene when Sun Wukong protected his master on his journey to the West: in the Fire Cloud Cave, the Samadhi True Fire surged forth, the monkey's eyes were burned, and he howled incessantly in pain.

At that moment, he used his hair to transform, but ultimately he could not defeat the demonic fire. He was blind for three years, and his temperament became increasingly arrogant.

Tang Sanzang was captured, and Zhu Bajie suffered greatly. The deep bond between master and disciple was fraught with unexpected twists and turns.

"Poor monkey, this water can heal your wounds and grant you immunity to fire."

I hope he will not commit any more murders.

With a flash of golden light, Guanyin arrived at the edge of the cliff in the withered pine ravine.

Sun Wukong was pounding the ground with his staff, listening intently to everything around him, his monkey face contorted in pain: "Three years! I've been living in the dark for three years! That Red Boy, I'll skin him alive!"

Guanyin appeared and gently patted his shoulder: "Wukong, the divine water is ready."

Six drops of water fell into his eyes, a cool sensation like a spring, the monkey's head trembled, and the pain vanished.

"Bodhisattva! I feel... my eyes are reviving!"

Guanyin nodded: "You will be fully recovered in three days."

At that time, follow me to rescue my master.

But remember, Red Boy is an incarnation of Sudhana, and killing him will have karmic consequences.

Although Sun Wukong was blind, he had already thought to himself: "I appreciate the Bodhisattva's kindness."

But how can I not avenge three years of pent-up resentment?

For three days, he sat in meditation and regulated his breathing, and the power of the divine water brewed in his eyes, gradually making them brighter.

On the morning of the third day, Sun Wukong opened his eyes, his fiery eyes shining brightly once more! He laughed loudly, swung his staff, and the cliff shattered: "Haha! Old Sun is back! Fiery Cloud Cave, Old Sun has arrived!"

Guanyin transformed into a rainbow in front, with Sun Wukong following closely behind.

At the entrance of Huoyun Cave in the Dry Pine Stream of Mount Hao, Red Boy is directing his minions to start a fire.

He observed a three-year fast. He was originally the son of a demon woman. He was ordered by his mother to imprison Tang Sanzang, but he also developed greed.

"Eat Tang Sanzang's flesh, and you'll live forever! Pigsy, too, go to the pot!"

The little demons set up the large cauldron, and the firewood crackled.

Inside the cave, Tang Sanzang sat cross-legged chanting sutras. Though his voice was weak, it was like a morning bell: "Amitabha, good and evil are rewarded accordingly. Benefactor, do not commit any killing."

Pigsy cried, "Master, I haven't eaten meat for three years, this is the end for me!"

The Dragon Girl, disguised as a little demon, whispered, "Master, don't panic."

The Bodhisattva and the Great Sage have arrived.

"boom!"

Outside the cave, Sun Wukong slammed his golden cudgel on the ground and shouted, "Red Boy! Grandpa's here!"

Upon hearing this, Red Boy grinned maliciously and went out: "Blind Monkey? Three years have passed, and you're still alive? Take this fire!"

A burst of Samadhi True Fire erupted, its crimson flames like a dragon, thick smoke obscuring the sky. Sun Wukong neither dodged nor evaded, charging straight forward: "Grandpa is not afraid anymore!"

Protected by divine water and warmed by true fire, he swung his golden cudgel in a wide arc, stirring up wind and thunder.

Red Boy exclaimed in shock: "How is this possible...!"

He brandished his spear to defend himself, but he was a beat too slow.

Guanyin cried out urgently from the sky, "Wukong, stop! He has a chance to turn back to the right path!"

But in Sun Wukong's eyes, all that remained was blood red.

Those three years of darkness, Tang Sanzang's cries and Zhu Bajie's wails, haunted us like ghosts.

"Go to hell!"

With a thud, Red Boy's head exploded, and blood splattered on the ground.

The little demons scattered, and the Dragon Girl rushed in to break the chains.

Tang Sanzang was stunned: "Wukong! You... this boy..."

Pigsy scratched his head: "Great Sage, the Bodhisattva is angry!"

Sun Wukong knelt down, setting his staff aside: "Bodhisattva, I, Sun, know my sins."

But revenge has been taken, and the master has been rescued; the journey westward continues!

Guanyin Bodhisattva stood on the clouds, her willow-leaf eyebrows furrowed into a deep autumn lake, her compassionate eyes now burning with raging anger.

Red Boy, the boy she had chosen at first glance, was supposed to be a brilliant asset in her Journey to the West plan, but he was killed by Sun Wukong with a single blow and turned into a wisp of smoke that dissipated in the mountains.

The Bodhisattva felt as if a piece of flesh had been ripped out of his heart by a sharp blade, causing him excruciating pain.

She recalled that since this great calamity, she had made one miscalculation after another: the Jade Bottle was taken away by that mysterious person, the Black Bear Spirit died tragically on the battlefield, and her unfilial son Muzha openly betrayed her and joined the enemy camp.

These losses snowballed, becoming increasingly overwhelming and suffocating her.

Guanyin gritted her teeth and waved her slender hand, causing the golden headband on Sun Wukong's head, thousands of miles away, to tighten suddenly.

"Oh my goodness!"

Sun Wukong was protecting Tang Sanzang and his disciples as they hurried along the mountain path when suddenly a splitting headache struck him, causing him to drop his staff and collapse to the ground with a thud.

He clutched his head with both hands, rolled around in the dust, his monkey hair standing on end, and veins bulging on his forehead.

The tight headband felt like thousands of steel needles piercing his brain, making him wish he were dead every moment.

Seeing this, Pigsy quickly reined in the white dragon horse, fanned himself with a palm-leaf fan, and stepped forward: "Brother Monkey, what's wrong with you? What's gotten into you again? Did you eat some wild fruit yesterday and get diarrhea?"

Sha Wujing also stopped carrying his load and helped his senior brother up with a worried expression: "Great Sage, don't panic. Is the Bodhisattva punishing you again?"

Tang Sanzang leaned out from his horse, his kind eyes full of concern: "Wukong, are you alright? Get up quickly, don't delay our journey."

Sun Wukong winced in pain, but forced out the words: "Master...it's the Bodhisattva...she's chanting that damned headband mantra again! Ouch, this time she's really going all out!"

The image of Guanyin's usually kind face flashed through his mind, now twisted into a vengeful ghost.

"Bodhisattva, you compassionate Bodhisattva, why are you picking on me for the sake of a mere Red Boy? That brat breathes fire and roasts me, if I don't kill him, who will I kill?" Sun Wukong rolled three times on the ground, and as the pain subsided, he saw the phantom of Guanyin flash by in the clouds.

She snorted coldly: "You monkey, you've ruined my plans, don't think you can get away with this so easily!"

The lingering power of the golden headband still lingered. Sun Wukong got up, rubbed his head, and said resentfully, "Bodhisattva, you've been making things difficult for me at every turn throughout this eon. You'll regret this one day!"

At the same time, within Chang'an City, a hidden system notification appeared like a ghostly light.

Jiang Wang sat cross-legged in the secret room, a playful smile curving his lips.

The system task was completed, and the speed at which Tang Sanzang and his disciples traveled had been secretly accelerated, and now it was finally bearing fruit.

Rewards came flooding in, and a crystal-clear Primordial Spirit Crystal fell into his palm, radiating the primordial aura of chaos at its beginning.

With a thought, Jiang Wang merged it into his sea of consciousness between his eyebrows. The Somersault Cloud that had accompanied him across the world instantly awakened, transforming into a ball of golden light that enveloped his body.

He took a deep breath and said softly, "Rise!"

A burst of golden light shone brightly, and Jiang Wang's figure flashed, disappearing into the void.

In an instant, the world stretched into a blur of light and shadow before my eyes.

The towering mountains and great rivers outside Chang'an, the churning sea of clouds, and the golden roof and glazed tiles at the foot of Lingshan Mountain all flashed by in the blink of an eye.

He traveled from Chang'an to the foot of Mount Ling in less than a second! Flying at the speed of light, the power of the Primordial Chaos-level Somersault Cloud was on par with the legendary Rainbow Transformation Technique of Lu Ya Dao Ren.

Jiang Wang hovered in the void, feeling the exhilarating sensation of tearing through space and time, and laughed heartily: "Wonderful! This speed is something that even ordinary immortals and Buddhas cannot catch up with."

If I were to stack ten layers of spellcasting, wouldn't that be ten times the speed of light? At that time, I could stir up the Journey to the West calamity at will!

He felt a surge of joy as the system's cold voice echoed: "[Host, the postponement of the Journey to the West mission has been activated.]"

Weakening the stamina of Tang Sanzang and his disciples is necessary to slow down the progress of the great calamity.

Jiang Wang nodded, a sly glint in his eyes: "That suits me perfectly."

"Bodhisattva, I'll add fuel to the fire of your arrangement."

On the return journey, Jiang Wang put away the Hunyuan Somersault Cloud and switched to ordinary cloud-riding techniques, leisurely enjoying the scenery.

Amidst the swirling clouds and mist, he caught a glimpse of Tang Sanzang and his disciples traveling day and night on the official road below, their speed far exceeding that of ordinary people.

The white dragon horse galloped like lightning, Pigsy carried the rake and panted heavily, Sandy carried the luggage and was sweating profusely, and Sun Wukong led the way, wielding his staff with great force.

Tang Sanzang sat upright on his horse, chanting Buddhist mantras, and urged, "Disciples, give it your all! I feel a sense of urgency in my heart, and I feel that we need to travel this road faster so that we can obtain the scriptures as soon as possible."

Pigsy wiped his sweat and grumbled, "Master, how come your speed is suddenly so strong? My legs are about to break! I should have rested more and found a village to have a good meal."

Sha Wujing whispered, "Second Brother, don't complain. The Great Sage said this is the blessing of the Bodhisattva, and we must cherish it."

Sun Wukong, who was leading the way, frowned slightly: "Master, we're moving too fast. We can't keep up with the demons and monsters."

Be careful, it might be a scam!

Jiang Wang sneered from the clouds; this momentum was the result of his secret spell earlier.

With system tasks at his disposal, how could he sit idly by and watch the Journey to the West proceed as scheduled? "Weaken their speed by starting with Tang Sanzang."

With a thought, he used his Seventy-Two Transformations technique, and a simple and ancient temple appeared out of thin air on an empty hillside in front of him.

With its blue bricks and gray tiles, upturned eaves, a pair of majestic stone lions in front of the gate, and swaying pines and cypresses in the courtyard, the courtyard is faintly filled with auspicious light.

Jiang Wang's figure blurred, transforming into a scarred monk with a weathered face and a scar across his left cheek, yet his eyes held an unfathomable smile.

He picked up the carving knife and, with a flourish, carved four lines of Buddhist verse on the stone tablet outside the door: "The body is a Bodhi tree, the mind a clear mirror."

Keep it clean and dry from time to time, lest it gather dust.

Each character is engraved in stone, radiating auspicious light, seemingly conveying a Zen-like wisdom that penetrates directly into people's hearts.

Sun Wukong, with his fiery eyes, caught a glimpse of the temple in the distance and raised an eyebrow: "Huh? How come there's a temple on the hillside ahead? It's gleaming with gold, it must be a temple in the mortal world."

He pointed with his staff, reminding Tang Sanzang: "Master, there is a temple ahead, filled with auspicious light and auspicious energy. Perhaps a high monk is preaching there. Why don't we go and rest for a while?"

Upon hearing this, Tang Sanzang's eyes lit up: "Excellent! What Wukong said is absolutely right."

As I was reciting the Buddha's name, I felt a faint connection to this Buddhist verse; it must be a karmic opportunity within Buddhism.

Let's go into the temple and pay our respects.

Pigsy's ears perked up, and he exclaimed happily, "Where there's a temple, there's vegetarian food! I'm starving, Master, let's go!"

Sha Wujing nodded, the white dragon horse neighed, and the group of master and disciples quickened their pace.

Guanyin Bodhisattva, who was secretly following behind Red Boy, was still unsettled by his death. She transformed into a gentle breeze and followed him, wary of any potential threats.

Suddenly, upon seeing the Buddhist verse on the stone tablet, she was struck by a jolt: "The body is a Bodhi tree, the mind a clear mirror..."

This verse points directly to the Zen mind, resembling the words of the Fifth Patriarch Hongren's sudden enlightenment.

She had preached countless times in her life, yet she was moved by these four lines, and the anger she felt towards Sun Wukong gradually subsided. (End of Chapter)
