Marvel's Magic Master
Chapter 27: To be honest, you look like my dad
Chapter 27 To be honest, you look like my dad
"The train will arrive at Hogwarts in five minutes. Please leave your luggage on the train and we will take you to school."
Night had fallen outside the window. There were mountains and woods under the deep purple sky. The train gradually slowed down, and suddenly a loud reminder sounded in the aisle of the carriage.
"We should change into our school uniforms."
George took off his coat and put on black Hogwarts wizard robes.
Luna, Ginny and Colin also reacted and quickly changed into their school uniforms.
After the train stopped, the little wizards swarmed out and pushed and shoved in the aisle, fearing that they would miss something if they were a step slower. Some of the little wizards even had their faces deformed by the squeezing.
"Don't worry!"
Seeing this situation, George decisively stopped Ginny and the other two who were trying to squeeze in from behind.
We've already arrived at the station. Hogwarts is such a big castle and you can't run away, so there's no need to rush to squeeze out.
Unlike other little wizards, he was curious and looking forward to Hogwarts, but he was not nervous or panicky.
On the one hand, he is not a real child after all. On the other hand, after experiencing time travel, soul splitting, and escape and fighting, his heart is much calmer than that of a normal adult.
About two minutes later, the number of little wizards in the aisle began to decrease, and George led the three little ones out of the box and slowly came to the door of the car.
"Follow me, don't go to the senior class."
"George, to be honest, you sometimes make me feel like my dad, very reliable."
Ginny couldn't help but say as she followed George.
"Yeah, more reliable than my dad."
Thinking of her father Arthur's sometimes unreliable behavior, she added another sentence.
Colin and Luna nodded in agreement.
Although they had only been together for less than a day, George had already left them with a very reliable impression.
He spoke calmly and rarely showed surprise. He helped them carry their luggage up and down, wiped their faces when they got them dirty while eating snacks, and stood up and covered them with wizard robes when they felt sleepy in the afternoon.
Even when I was getting off the bus, I had a feeling that there were adults around and I would be safe as long as I listened to them.
George also smiled when he heard this. In fact, his behavior was just what adults would do subconsciously when they saw children, especially children they didn't like.
His body in this world is that of a child, but it is not easy for him to pretend to be a child all the time.
So he felt that there was no need for that. Given his background in this world, it was normal for him to mature early, and it was not a bad thing.
"First years! First years, come over here!"
Just then, a familiar voice sounded.
George turned his head and saw Hagrid, the gamekeeper, standing beside the station with a magic lantern and shouting loudly.
Even though there were hundreds of students at the station, Hagrid's three or four meter height still stood out, and it was hard not to see him.
"Follow me."
After turning around and giving instructions, George plunged into the dense crowd like a sharp knife, easily pushed away the senior wizards who were blocking his way, and soon came to Hagrid's side.
In terms of strength, even a seventh-grade wizard is far inferior to him.
"Hello again, little boss!"
Seeing George, Hagrid immediately bent down and greeted him.
He still remembered the little wizard boss who lived in Knockturn Alley and sold him potions at a discount. "Hello, Hagrid."
George also smiled and nodded.
"You know Hagrid, why does he call you Little Boss?"
Ginny leaned over to George's ear and asked curiously.
She had never seen Hagrid, but she had often heard her brother Ron mention him, so she guessed his identity.
"My adoptive father ran a potion shop. He died unexpectedly some time ago. Hagrid came to buy potions."
George replied casually.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked. I hope you don't feel bad."
Hearing what George said, Ginny's expression immediately turned guilty, and Luna and Colin beside her also had sympathy on their faces.
"It's ok."
George smiled. He really wanted to say that he had killed the old guy with his own hands, but he knew that saying that would definitely scare the three little guys.
After staying with Hagrid for a while, soon all the first-year wizards arrived, about thirty people in total.
In fact, there are not many students in Hogwarts. Normally, there are only about 300 students. There are about 40 students in each grade. When there are many students, there are more than 40, and when there are few students, there are more than 30.
It's normal to think about it. After all, there are not many teachers in the academy. For example, the Defense Against the Dark Arts class is taught by all seven grades, but there is only one teacher. If there are too many people, it would be impossible to teach everyone.
When everyone was gathered, Hagrid led them through a narrow path to the Black Lake, and then as usual, he arranged for everyone to take a boat to the castle in groups of four. This is a traditional ceremony that must be followed every year for the first grade to enter school.
The purpose seems to be to commemorate the four legendary wizards who founded Hogwarts.
Most of the people who knew each other on the train sat together, and George naturally took Luna, Ginny and Colin to sit on a boat.
However, these ships are not ordinary ships, but ships with special spells added by alchemy. They do not need oars to row, but can automatically generate wind to drive the ship forward.
To be honest, the process of taking a boat from the Black Lake into the Hogwarts Castle was quite shocking. Even George couldn't help but sigh when he looked up and saw the castle towering into the clouds.
One of the little wizards was so shocked that he accidentally fell into the lake halfway.
But nothing unexpected happened, because as soon as the little wizard fell into the water, a giant octopus rescued him from the lake and put him back on the boat.
Don't underestimate this Black Lake, there are many magical creatures living in it.
They crossed the Black Lake, went ashore from the castle's underground dock, and followed the tunnel between the rocks to the castle gate. Hagrid handed them over to a tall, black-haired witch in an emerald green robe.
This witch was none other than the Transfiguration professor and Head of Gryffindor, Minerva McGonagall.
"Welcome to Hogwarts. The opening banquet is about to begin. However, before you take your seats in the hall, you must first determine which college you will be attending."
Professor McGonagall took them to a small room on the left side of the main hall on the first floor of the castle and gave them a brief introduction to the four colleges and the very important college cup.
After Professor McGonagall left, the young wizards began to buzz with discussions, and the topic was naturally all about the Sorting Ceremony.
George was no exception to this, because at this time he was also wondering which college he would be assigned to.
He is not Harry Potter. The Sorting Hat will not waste time for him, nor will it send him to any house he wants to go to. He will be assigned directly according to the results of magic tests like other young wizards.
But it doesn't matter. In his opinion, all colleges are the same and each has its own advantages, because no matter which college he goes to, he will become the best and most dazzling one.
From today on, Hogwarts will welcome the most powerful and talented wizard genius in history, that is George.
