"How can the fate of a demon or monster be treated lightly?"

Venerable Kasyapa frowned and said, “Fellow Daoist Yun Zhongzi, there’s something wrong with your thinking. Back then, when you and your twelve senior brothers slaughtered the ten thousand immortals of the Jie Sect, you didn’t have so many concerns. Did you care whether they were innocent or not? Your master, Yuanshi Tianzun, once had the idea of ​​completely annihilating the Jie Sect. It was only because our sect’s Sage Jieyin was compassionate and kindly persuaded him that he didn’t go on a killing spree.”
