Chapter 212 The Destination of the Teleportation Array

Chapter 212 The Destination of the Teleportation Array

After Ron and his companions made some simple preparations, they rushed to the camp site under the leadership of the two goblin cubs. The militiamen and scouts guarding there obviously did not notice the disappearance of the two cubs at all, and they all showed surprise when they saw them coming back from outside.

"Sir Ron, what happened?" A militiaman stepped forward and saluted. "How did the two of them escape? We didn't even notice them!"

"That's not the point," Ron waved his hand. "Go back and get some more people to guard the perimeter. We need to go in and do some investigation."

"If we disappear, don't panic. Go and inform Karad to take over all affairs temporarily. Do you understand?"

"Yes! But——"

"Nothing to worry about."

Ron walked into the deserted camp first and soon found the place where the wooden box was originally placed. It was covered with canvas, and there were muddy footprints left by two goblin cubs on it.

It seems that they used this place as a trampoline before being teleported away.

"It's definitely related to this place," Ron motioned Sera to lift the canvas and dig from this position, "Let's see what's buried underground!"

This work was not difficult at all. Sera only dug three or five shovels of soil with force. The tip of the shovel in her hand touched a hard object, making a slight sound.

"Be careful!" Sylvia leaned over quickly. "From the sound, it should be made of stone!"

With the joint efforts of several people, a gray stone slab finally saw the light of day again. There were complex patterns carved on it, and Ron remembered where he had seen these patterns not long ago.

The ability of the weaving foreword was activated, and Ron recalled every detail of the monument he had visited before - the pattern on this stone slab was exactly the same as the one there!
"And it's hollow," Driver shrank his head, "Could it be that the other part of the queen is buried here?"

"How is it possible..." Before Ivy could finish her words, the stone slab suddenly began to hum, and the lines on it were instantly filled with liquid red light. The crowd didn't even have time to scream, and in the blink of an eye, they all disappeared from the spot.

"Really, really gone!" Several militiamen outside the camp were startled. They had been watching this place, and they had thought that if there was any accident, they could go up and help. But they never expected that it would happen so quickly. They didn't even react until Ron and the others disappeared completely.

"What should we do next?"

"Nonsense, what are you still standing there for!" The goblin scout kicked each of them on the calf, "Hurry up! Go find Lord Kalade! What did Lord Ron just order?!"

Let's not talk about how Kalade received the news, just talk about Ron and others. The sudden dazzling red light almost burned Ron's eyes, followed by a nauseating feeling of weightlessness and dizziness. When he regained his vision and walked out of the black and white vision, the surrounding scene had become extremely unfamiliar.

"It can't be another... Fortunately," Ron looked around quickly. Beside him, Ivy and others were lying in a mess. "You are all still here." "What's going on? What happened?" The others turned over and sat up. They were all in good condition, but the dizziness had not yet subsided, so they couldn't stand still for a while.

"How can you stand normally?" Sera looked at Ron in surprise, "I feel like the ground beneath my feet is standing up. I can't stand at all!"

"The teleportation array, as expected..." Sylvia stroked her forehead, "I've only read about the relevant issues in a book: most people who experience teleportation for the first time will have serious adverse reactions. It seems that the benefactor is a special kind."

"If you can move normally, you can walk around and take a look. There must be a stone slab similar to the one over there as the cornerstone of the magic circle. With this, we should be able to go back."

Ron raised the ever-burning lamp - he placed the previous candle in the lamp so that he could carry it with him, and illuminated the surrounding environment as instructed. On a stone wall a few steps away, he saw another stone slab that was almost identical to the one in the camp.

He reached forward and pressed the button after confirming that there was no problem. But there was no response.

"The magic power is exhausted," Ron pulled his hand back and frowned slightly. "The inscription on it shows that it should be able to recharge itself, but I don't know how long it will take to be restored."

His study of enchantment was not in vain. Even if he could not create magical items of this level, Ron could still analyze the enchantment effects on known items.

"But this doesn't make sense!" A goblin is a goblin after all. Driver's ingenious solution made him the first one besides Ron to escape the influence of teleportation. He raised his hands above his head and stood up upside down. "Why were those two little guys teleported to the barn?"

"How dare you say that! It must be your fault!" Ivy said unhappily, "You mentioned the Queen's part, and this teleportation array must have taken that as an order..."

The atmosphere suddenly froze.

If, as Ivy said, the teleportation was activated due to Driver's influence, then if Driver was talking about something related to the remains of the last queen of Falama, wouldn't they be there now?
I don't know from which direction, as a breeze blew, the seemingly disorderly holes on the wall began to play a plaintive tune. Everyone's hair stood on end when they heard it, and even if they still couldn't stand steadily, they rolled and crawled to get their weapons, as if they were facing a great enemy.

"Fortunately, there should be no enemies coming, so it's relatively safe." After a moment, Victoria breathed a sigh of relief and stood up from the ground.

"This looks like a cave. Could it be underneath that monument? If so, there probably wouldn't be too many undead creatures."

"I don't think so," Sylvia twitched her nose. "Remember how you dug out the stone box? If they built such a cave, why would they bury the things they were supposed to protect under the bricks of the monument? This obviously doesn't make sense."

"Since the teleportation array can't be used now, why don't we explore the passage here a little bit? Maybe we can find some clues or even walk out directly."
