Chapter 23 Blackwater Pirates
"Woo——"

Suddenly, there was a loud noise on the sea, alerting everyone on the boat. They looked around, trying to find out what made such a loud noise, but they only saw the sea boiling as if it was being cooked.

"Get out of this sea quickly!"

The goblin wearing the captain's hat said in a sharp voice. After hearing the order, the others immediately dispersed and went to their respective work stations. After a while, the ship accelerated and moved forward quickly.

Jack looked at the skull flag on the mast speechlessly. He was so unlucky that he was rescued by a group of pirates.

There are many races of pirates on the ship, including humans, tauren, trolls, and a goblin captain. Everything proves that these are the Blackwater Pirates of Booty Bay.

It was the Blackwater pirate who attacked Baron Dex's ship a year ago and whose captain was killed by Sam.

It’s really a narrow road for enemies!

Just as Jack was thinking about how to escape from the pirate ship, the goblin captain's voice came, "Take him and follow me."

A minotaur walked up to Jack, grabbed him by the collar, lifted him up, and followed the goblin captain to the captain's cabin.

The minotaur threw Jack to the ground, found a pair of large pliers, and broke the shackles on Jack. Then he walked to the side of the goblin captain and looked at Jack warily, acting like a bodyguard.

The goblin captain grinned and took out a contract, "Human, I saved you. In return, you will work for me for free in the future."

The corner of Jack's mouth twitched. The goblins were indeed a race that loved money, and the emphasis was placed on the word "free".

The Minotaur brought the contract to Jack and threatened, "Sign it, or I'll throw you back into the sea."

Jack wanted to refuse, but thinking of a huge sea monster waiting for him at the bottom of the sea, he immediately backed off. He took the quill pen and signed the contract as Jack Sparrow.

The goblin took one look at Jack's signature and smiled with satisfaction.

"Welcome to join the Rich One!"

He carefully put the contract into the drawer, and then said to the minotaur, "Anu, take him to work."

The minotaur nodded and pushed Jack out of the captain's room.

A few months later, Jack started mopping the deck again. He didn't do this job often and didn't seem very skilled. But the Minotaur was very satisfied, which showed that Jack was not a person who drifted on the sea all year round, and his misfortune must have been accidental.

As a result, the Minotaur's vigilance was lowered a lot and he did not regard Jack as a threat.

At night, Jack wanted to follow the Minotaur to the crew cabin to sleep, but was stopped by the Minotaur.

"This place is full. Go to the cargo hold on the lower level and sleep."

Jack grinned. Was he being bullied?
Considering that the sea monster might still be nearby, Jack didn't want to cause any trouble and turned to the cargo hold on the lower floor. There were a lot of boxes in the cargo hold, and the smell coming out of the boxes was a bit strange, with a lot of earthy smell.

Looking at the boxes and the traces in the cargo hold, Jack had an idea: Is this filled with ore?

When will pirates transport ore? Jack shook his head, feeling that his idea was a little unrealistic. After all, pirates only need to rob, and the cabin should be filled with gold and silver treasures. The earthy smell may be treasures dug out from a tomb. Although he felt a little uncomfortable, Jack was really tired, so he found a safe place to lie down.

After turning off the lights, Jack fell asleep soon. The lucky rabbit's foot on his body slowly lit up, emitting a faint halo of light, which enveloped Jack. When the halo passed through the box, it seemed to be attracted by something, and turned around inside the box, but then came out of the box with another kind of white light particle.

The white light particles merged into the halo and purposefully merged into Jack's head. As the light particles merged, the muscles on Jack's face began to twitch, as if he had a nightmare.

The next morning, Jack felt very tired and his stomach was growling with hunger.

He got up and walked to the deck, where the pirates were having dinner. Jack walked over without hesitation and started eating.

The boiled seafood had no taste at all, but Jack ate it ravenously.

When the pirates saw him like this, they immediately hugged all the seafood in front of them. There was only so much seafood, and if Jack ate more, they would have to eat less. This stuff was not enough to satisfy hunger, and they didn't want to work on an empty stomach.

Jack finished the food in front of him and immediately looked at the seafood in the arms of others.

Everyone stood up hurriedly and moved away from this starving ghost.

They were also wondering, although Jack was able to eat yesterday, his appetite was not so big? Could it be that he was just rescued yesterday and didn't feel like eating more?
Jack was speechless and could only look at his minotaur Anu, "Anything else to eat?"

"You only know how to eat, get back to work." The minotaur Anu said unhappily. Just now, he relied on his status to not pick up the food that belonged to him, and Jack ate most of it. He was not even half full, and it would take several hours before he could eat again. It would be strange if he could be nice to Jack!

Jack felt his stomach and felt hungry even though he had eaten a lot. However, the food was gone and he could only wait for the next meal.

Before going back to work, he did not forget to tell the minotaur Anu: "Ask the chef to make more at noon."

The minotaur Anu rolled his eyes and asked, "You tell me? If I don't do more, I will have to starve with you."

It was not easy until noon, and the minotaur Anu specially asked the chef to cook an extra pot of seafood, but Jack snatched most of it. However, this time Anu deliberately sped up his eating speed and managed to fill his stomach.

In order to avoid eating so fast during dinner, the Minotaur asked the chef to cook two more pots, and finally he had a full meal.

At night, Jack still slept in the cargo hold, and when he woke up the next day he became a glutton again.

Jack himself was wondering why his appetite increased so quickly on the pirate ship? Could it be that the water pressure compressed his stomach when he was at the bottom of the sea, and when he reached the surface, the water pressure disappeared and his stomach also expanded?
This explanation was a bit far-fetched, but Jack couldn't find any other reason.

This situation continued until the ship docked.

Jack was surprised to see the Rich changed its caravan flag and sailed into Treasure Bay. The caravan flag they flew was exactly the same as the flag flying in Treasure Bay.

The goblin captain got off the ship and greeted the goblin guards at the dock. One of the goblin guards looked familiar to Jack. He had three earrings on his left ear, and Jack was deeply impressed. He seemed to be the goblin first mate on the pirate ship that robbed Baron Dex's merchant ship a year ago.

Although he knew that Booty Bay was a pirate den, he didn't expect that everyone here was a pirate.
