Chapter 55 Dealing with
As the smoke cleared, Song Jinhe quickly shot down the zombies attracted by the gunfire and went forward to collect supplies.

The man in the lead was barely alive when he saw a woman emerge from behind the tree. She was slender and carrying a rifle, and he could hardly believe it.

Was she the one who just walked through the thick smoke and killed someone with pinpoint accuracy?
It's rare to see a woman like that who can shoot; she must be gifted! Otherwise, how could she shoot so accurately!

"Long time no see," Song Jinhe said with a slight smile, her voice very soft.

Brother Du struggled to lift his head, not understanding where he had seen this woman before.

"So it was you, kid, who was trying to kill my teammate, right?" Song Jinhe narrowed his eyes.

The companions who followed behind felt a chill run down their spines when they saw her speak such irritably with such a gentle face.

Song Jinhe picked up the dagger from the ground and slashed it across his neck.

After clearing out the usable ammunition at the scene, the group also found some medical supplies in the other vehicle and drove the car into the woods for a while.

That spot is no longer safe.

"You guys hide here for now." Song Jinhe grabbed the bullets and stuffed them into her pocket.

"Are you going in?" Zhuang Ting asked.

He had just fought with one of the guys who fled in defeat, and he wasn't in good shape either.

Song Jinhe nodded; that person with the talent for smell was troublesome.

Only she could go in here; Zhuang Ting didn't leave behind two and a half wounded men who had no chance to protect themselves.

"The zombies over there are swarming in like they're going to a market. How are you going to get in? Besides, that guy just notified the people inside. What if they ambush you on the way?"

Qi Sixing frowned deeply, as he saw this behavior as no different from suicide.

Song Jinhe carefully corrected him, "Be more confident, remove the 'what if' part."

With so many zombies and powerful enemies, of course she was afraid of dying.

"But I don't have the habit of betraying my teammates." She has to kill the people inside too.

It would be better if no one else went in, as she could use the supplies in her space without any worries or need to hide anything.

Here, the team that had just entered the park and received the message had just cleared out a wave of zombies.

"Boss, we've been tricked. There's an ambush outside."

Wei Wenchen raised his gun with a cold expression, shooting down the overhead camera and alarm. Wherever he went, there were zombies. Two people had already been killed as soon as he entered. It would be a miracle if it wasn't a trap.

"Have you found him?" He looked at the short, thin young man beside him.

"Old Wang and the others are upstairs. There are a lot of zombies there, and the scent of strangers seems to be heading towards the pharmaceutical workshop."

"They summoned zombies to block our way using a timed broadcast, then retreated before we could get there." Their calculations were incredibly accurate.

I didn't dare say the last sentence.

They used their innate tracking ability and moved at maximum speed, but they still felt like they were being led by the nose.

It's as if they're not the ones tracking them, but rather the other side knows their every move.

The cameras and sirens were activated, but there was no improvement.

"Follow them and see what they're up to." Wei Wenchen raised his hand and sprayed bullets at the zombies in front of him. "Those zombies are suspicious. Don't get yourselves covered in their pus."

Song Jinhe picked up her things and returned to the cut barbed wire fence.

The situation inside is much worse than when they came out!

The zombies in the pharmaceutical factory and dormitory buildings were all drawn out, and there was not a single path to pass through the entire square.

Seeing the zombie turn its head in their direction, Song Jinhe immediately crouched down and hid behind a trash can.

The pungent stench masked the scent of the living, and the zombie, finding nothing, turned and continued walking towards the source of the sound. She followed behind, relying on her innate ability to detect the distance between humans and zombies, and cautiously making her way forward.

This approach wasn't foolproof either, as individual differences among zombies couldn't be discerned from their appearance alone. Just as she was about to enter the building's perimeter, she was spotted by a more perceptive zombie.

The two, one human and one corpse, recognized each other instantly: one was experience points, the other was food; both were each other's angels.

Song Jinhe originally wanted to quickly go forward and quietly deal with it, but as soon as she picked up her weapon and went over, she saw a large group of zombies roaring and asking for food appear behind it.

I'm sorry, she was wrong.

Song Jinhe braked suddenly and ran in a different direction.

Oh no! The zombies behind her are multiplying and running so fast! She turned around, panting heavily, and fired two shots into the zombies' heads.

She didn't need to aim with her eyes, and the speed at which the gun moved couldn't keep up with the speed at which the zombies ran!

There are also pus-filled zombies; you don't dare to fight them at close range. The direction of their mutation is simply amazing.

Song Jinhe always took the correct route. Even if there was no way to avoid it, she could still dodge the zombie's claws. However, the double drain on her physical and mental strength, and the most fatal thing was running out of energy to run away.

She sensed the other person was in the direction of the pharmaceutical factory! Jiang Shi'an was most likely there as well.

Unsure of the extent of the other party's sensory perception ability, Song Jinhe harbored no illusions.

Dogs can track targets within a 1-2 kilometer range, so his natural precision is an upgraded version.

So the moment she noticed him, he must have noticed her too.

Next, we not only have to guard against zombies, but also against people.

Song Jinhe stopped in her tracks, turned around and ran back, opened the metal door on her right, and slipped inside just before the zombie touched her, then lowered the latch.

"She's going to be in trouble soon if she goes that way," the short man said gloatingly.

There was more room to hide, but he insisted on changing direction. I thought he was some kind of smart person.

The power control scheme had outmaneuvered them for a while, but with his talent, he could tell where the zombies were from by the stench of decay in different directions. How could they possibly not be able to get out? Ge Hong thought smugly.

"Are you sure you're not mistaken? There's a woman too?" His companion was skeptical.

“Men don’t smell this good.” Ge Hong shook his head. “It’s too chaotic here. We can’t tell exactly how many people are on the other side, but there aren’t many.”

He only detected a person by smell, but it seemed unlikely that a woman would dare to barge in.

Perhaps the others over there haven't entered his detection range yet.

"Listen, there are gunshots," Ge Hong warned.

"You guys go to the left, Ge Hong, come this way with me," Wei Wenchen ordered.

"Yes, boss."

At this time, the other side.

Before Song Jinhe could change her bullets, several pus-filled zombies arrived, so she could only throw Molotov cocktails to slow them down.

The pharmaceutical factory's production workshop was not far away, and people from the opposite side also came, splitting up to surround and capture her.

She couldn't sense it clearly enough to determine which direction was which person.

But it's not impossible.

The reason for entering this place is because the terrain is complex and there is a lot of room for maneuver. We can find out where the scent talent is by probing around.

Song Jinhe slung the knife over his shoulder and switched to another pistol with bullets.

On the surface, she seemed to be wandering through a maze, dodging zombies, but in reality, she was outsmarting and outmaneuvering her opponent.
