Chapter 113 Ancient Village 1
The zombie's arm reached out of the cage and grabbed the fresh food. The gash on its cheek opened wide, and its back teeth, mixed with black blood, came forward.

The commotion caused by the zombies all rushing to one side caught the attention of another person.

"Third brother, what the hell are you doing? You've been standing there staring at zombies for ages!" an impatient male voice rang out.

The only response he received were the howls of zombies and deathly silence.

He gradually sensed something was off, so he stood still, picked up a portable flashlight in his left hand and a tool in his right, ready to turn on the light and see what was going on.

"He's not that stupid to just go straight there," the man sneered.

His thumb rested on the flashlight switch, and for some reason, he felt a strange sense of unease.

The moment the finger slid upwards on the switch, a sharp arrow shot out.

Before he could even react to the wind blowing in front of him, the arrow pierced his throat. He fell straight down without even feeling the pain.

Qi Sixing stepped forward and gave the two people in the shadows a 'no problem' gesture. 'Aren't we going to deal with the corpse?'

Song Jinhe squatted down to check and make sure the person was dead.

"Don't worry about it. We don't have the key to open the cage, these two are perfect." The zombie transformation will attract the attention of the guards.

The three of them moved from behind the corpse cage into the interior of the ancient village. The darkness provided them with excellent cover. The defenses here were indeed tight, with the dimmed searchlights on the rooftops constantly turning.

The water dungeon was filled with faint screams and the clanking of chains; it was truly a living hell.

The murky, foul-smelling sewage was enclosed in an iron cage covered with razor blades and barbed wire; anyone inside would be slashed and bleeding profusely if they touched it.

Such filthy water, after a day or two of soaking, would cause a person's lower body to ulcerate and die. The man inside was shirtless, his arms bound by iron chains were bent abnormally, and the wounds on his face and body were oozing pus. He looked like he wouldn't live much longer.

Hearing about it and seeing it with your own eyes are completely different experiences. "Are they even human? What kind of god do they believe in?" Qi Sixing frowned deeply.

Song Jinhe withdrew her gaze. "Human evil is inherently terrible, and it will only intensify when it is unrestrained. This place was probably not like this in the beginning."

Those with strong fists control resources, the power of discourse, and even the power to control the life and death of others. In their eyes, these people are no longer their own, but rather inferior to them, sinners or possessions who are supposedly punished by God.

The route they took had to pass through a water dungeon.

The person inside suddenly opened their swollen eyes and looked at them weakly; those eyes were lifeless and devoid of vitality.

"Kill, kill, beg."

A faint, intermittent sound rang out.

He was seeking death; the skin on his arms was ulcerated, not to mention his lower body. Even if he had a chance to get out, he wouldn't live long.

Song Jinhe stopped and exchanged a glance with the other two. Zhuang Ting picked up a sharp piece of iron and used his talent to control it, striking the person inside and ending their suffering.

Next to the water dungeon was a house, with a wooden pavilion in front and a brick stove under it. There was a patch of dried bloodstains on the ground that were dark and black.

Seeing the dried and hanging items, Qi Sixing felt a wave of nausea wash over him.

"Someone's coming! Crouch down!" Song Jinhe warned.

They stood up only after watching the man walk past the stove.

A fire can't be lit just anywhere; once it's lit, the enemy will quickly pinpoint their location.

The last few chapters I've written have only been 1 words. I overestimated myself. I'm feeling really unwell in the hospital and simply can't write.
