Chapter 806 Encountered an Unforeseen Circumstance

Liniang cried and said, "I don't know either. He was playing here just now, and then he disappeared in the blink of an eye..."

Zhu Xiong Ying forced himself to calm down, "Don't panic, I'll send people to find them right away!"

He immediately ordered a city-wide search for Zhu Yunwen. However, a night passed, and still no clues were found.

Zhu Xiong Ying's heart sank, a sense of foreboding washing over her...

Zhu Xiong Ying suppressed his anxiety and tried his best to remain calm. He took a deep breath, his gaze sharp, and scanned the palace maids behind Li Niang. "Tell me, what did you all see before Yun Wen disappeared?"

The palace maids trembled with fear. One of the older maids answered hesitantly, "Your Majesty... I saw the little prince playing in the courtyard, and then... then an old woman came and gave the little prince a sugar figurine..."

"Old woman? What does she look like?" Zhu Xiong Ying asked sternly.

"That old woman... had a hunched back, her face was full of wrinkles, and she was wearing a gray dress..." the palace maid recalled. "I... I didn't pay much attention..."

"Useless!" Zhu Xiong Ying roared, startling the palace maids who all knelt down.

"Li Niang, think carefully, have you offended anyone recently?" Zhu Xiong Ying forced himself to calm down. He knew that getting angry now would not help. The most urgent thing was to find Yun Wen.

Li Niang shook her head, tears streaming down her face, "I haven't offended anyone..."

Zhu Xiong Ying frowned, a growing feeling that this was no ordinary child abduction. Yunwen was a prince of the Ming Dynasty, a man of noble status. If it were for money, the kidnappers should have already sent a letter demanding a ransom. Yet, there was no news at all; something was definitely amiss.

He paced back and forth, deep in thought. Suddenly, a thought flashed through his mind. He remembered the King of Kucha mentioning a mysterious force in the Western Regions that specialized in human trafficking, and whose methods were extremely cruel. Could it be… that Yunwen had been kidnapped by them?

Thinking of this, Zhu Xiong Ying felt a chill run down his spine. He had to find Yun Wen as soon as possible, or the consequences would be unimaginable.

"By imperial decree, mobilize all troops, seal the city gates, and search every household to find Yunwen!" Zhu Xiong Ying ordered, his tone filled with unquestionable authority.

"As you wish!" The guard took the order and left.

Li Niang gripped Zhu Xiong Ying's hand tightly, her eyes filled with worry and fear. "Xiong Ying, Yun Wen... Yun Wen will be alright, won't he?"

Zhu Xiong Ying gently patted her hand and comforted her, "Don't worry, I will definitely find him."

Although he said that, Zhu Xiong Ying was filled with unease. He realized that this opponent was extraordinary, and finding Yun Wen would probably not be easy.

For the next few days, the entire city of Kucha was gripped by tension. Ming soldiers searched everywhere, turning the city upside down, but still found no clues about Zhu Yunwen.

Zhu Xiong Ying was extremely anxious. He personally led his troops to search every day, leaving no corner unchecked. He even resorted to torture to interrogate those suspected of being involved in child trafficking, but still found nothing.

As time went by, Zhu Xiong Ying's hopes dwindled, and his anxiety grew. He began to wonder if Yun Wen was still alive, or if he had met with some misfortune.
One evening, Zhu Xiong Ying sat alone in his study, drowning his sorrows in alcohol. Looking at the portrait of Yun Wen on the table, he was filled with guilt and self-reproach.

"Yunwen, your father is sorry..." he murmured to himself, his eyes filled with pain and despair.

Just then, a dark figure suddenly appeared at the study door.

"Your Majesty, there's news!" the shadowy figure whispered.

Zhu Xiong Ying suddenly raised his head, a glimmer of hope flashing in his eyes. "What news?" "Your subordinate discovered a group of suspicious people outside the city. They seem to be preparing to leave the Kingdom of Kucha," the shadowy figure said.

"Take me there!" Zhu Xiong Ying immediately stood up, his eyes filled with murderous intent.

He followed the shadowy figure to the outskirts of the city, where he saw a group of people gathering together furtively, seemingly discussing something.

Zhu Xiong Ying recognized one of them at a glance; it was the old woman who had given Yun Wen the sugar figurine that day.

"Seize them!" Zhu Xiong Ying gave the order, and the Ming soldiers immediately rushed forward and surrounded the group.

When the old woman saw Zhu Xiong Ying, her face changed drastically. She turned around and tried to run away, but Zhu Xiong Ying grabbed her.

"Tell me, where is Yunwen?" Zhu Xiong Ying asked sharply, his eyes filled with anger.

The old woman was so frightened that she trembled and dared not speak.

"You won't talk? Then don't blame me for being impolite!" A ruthless glint flashed in Zhu Xiong Ying's eyes.

Just as he was about to make his move, a childish voice suddenly rang out from the crowd, "Father!"

Zhu Xiong Ying looked in the direction of the sound and saw a familiar figure running out from the crowd—it was Zhu Yunwen!

"Yunwen!" Zhu Xiong Ying exclaimed excitedly and quickly picked up Zhu Yunwen.

"Father, I miss you so much!" Zhu Yunwen said, hugging Zhu Xiong Ying's neck tightly.

Zhu Xiong Ying held Zhu Yunwen tightly, his heart filled with the joy of having him back. He raised his head, his cold gaze sweeping over the people around him. "Speak, who are you? Why did you kidnap Yunwen?"

The old woman collapsed to the ground in terror. "We...we are from the Black Sand Organization of the Western Regions..."

"The Black Sand Organization?" Zhu Xiong Ying frowned; he seemed to have heard the name somewhere before.

"The Black Sands organization is a notorious organization that specializes in human trafficking. They are ruthless and commit all sorts of evil deeds..." the King of Kucha explained from the side.

A murderous glint flashed in Zhu Xiong Ying's eyes. "What a Black Sand Organization! I will wipe you out completely!"

Suddenly, a member of the Black Sands organization pulled out a dagger from his pocket and stabbed at Zhu Xiong Ying...

The Black Sands member moved with lightning speed, his dagger aimed straight at Zhu Xiong Ying's chest. In a split second, Zhu Xiong Ying reacted swiftly, grabbing the assassin's wrist and twisting it sharply. With a "crack," the wrist bone broke. The assassin screamed, and the dagger fell to the ground. Zhu Xiong Ying then kicked the assassin in the stomach, sending him flying. He crashed to the ground, spitting blood, unconscious.

Zhu Xiong Ying still held Zhu Yunwen tightly, his cold gaze sweeping over the surrounding Black Sand members, radiating a powerful aura of pressure. He said coldly, "You dare to assassinate me with such meager skills? You're asking for trouble!"

"Father is mighty!" Zhu Yunwen exclaimed excitedly in his arms, completely unfazed by the danger they had just faced, and instead looked at Zhu Xiong Ying with adoration.

Seeing their leader captured and witnessing Zhu Xiong Ying's incredible bravery, the members of the Black Sand Organization were terrified and immediately knelt down, begging for mercy: "Your Majesty, spare our lives! Your Majesty, spare our lives! We will never dare to do it again!"
