Chapter 763 Leading His People to Conquer the World
Having said that, Zhu Xiong Ying took the lead and charged towards the city gate. His sword flashed like the wind, its sword energy crisscrossing, and he instantly killed several monsters that rushed up.

Seeing this, the soldiers mustered their courage and followed Zhu Xiong Ying into the city gate.

A fierce battle unfolded inside the city gates. Although the Ming army's morale was high, these monsters possessed strength and speed far exceeding that of ordinary people, and were fearless in the face of death, causing heavy losses to the Ming army.

Zhu Xiong Ying was like a god descended to earth, his sword invincible, slaying countless monsters along the way. But he was, after all, just one person, and could not attend to all his soldiers.

"Your Majesty, be careful!" a general suddenly shouted.

Zhu Xiong Ying turned around abruptly and saw a huge monster wielding a spiked club, smashing it down on him.

Zhu Xiong Ying was unable to dodge in time and was hit by the spiked club, sending her flying and crashing heavily to the ground.

"Your Majesty!" the soldiers exclaimed, rushing forward.

Zhu Xiong Ying struggled to his feet, a trickle of blood escaping from the corner of his mouth. Looking at the ever-growing number of monsters around him, a sense of powerlessness rose within him.

Is he really going to die here?

No, he cannot die! He is the Emperor of the Ming Dynasty, and he will lead his people to conquer the world!

Zhu Xiong Ying took a deep breath, his fighting spirit rekindled in his eyes. He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and raised his sword once more.

"Soldiers, follow me and kill!"

Zhu Xiong Ying charged into the monster horde once more, his sword like a scythe of death, reaping lives one by one.

However, the number of monsters was simply too great, and the Ming army gradually became overwhelmed.

Just then, a loud bang suddenly came from the city wall.

Everyone looked up and saw a huge gap in the city wall.

A general clad in golden armor, wielding a long spear, rode out of the gap on a tall horse.

"It's the Great General!" the Ming soldiers cheered.

This general was none other than Zhu Xiong Ying's capable lieutenant, Chang Yu Chun.

Chang Yuchun led an elite cavalry force, charging into the monster horde like tigers descending a mountain.

The cavalry's charge was unstoppable, instantly scattering the monsters' formation.

Zhu Xiong Ying and Chang Yu Chun fought side by side, like two war gods, slaying the monsters and causing them to flee in disarray.

"Kill! Kill! Kill!" The morale of the Ming soldiers soared once again, and they fought bravely, slaying the monsters one by one.

Ultimately, the Ming army emerged victorious.

The monsters inside the city gate were all eliminated, and the man in black also disappeared.

Zhu Xiong Ying stood on the city wall, looking down at the scene below, his heart filled with emotion.

He didn't know where he was, nor what these monsters were.

But he knew he had to keep going and conquer the world!
"Soldiers, let's continue!" Zhu Xiong Ying raised his sword high and pointed it into the distance.

"Forward! Forward!" the soldiers shouted in unison.

The army set off again, heading towards the unknown distance.

However, unbeknownst to them, an even greater crisis awaited them. Shortly after they left, a figure appeared on the city wall.

This was a tall, handsome man. He wore a black robe and a mask; he was the same man in black who had appeared earlier.

He watched the departing Ming army, a strange smile appearing on his lips.

"Zhu Xiong Ying, do you think you've won?" the man in black said in a low voice. "You've only just stepped into the first level of hell."

The man in black waved his hand, and the breach in the city wall instantly disappeared.

The city returned to calm once more, as if nothing had happened.

However, deep within the city, a huge dark shadow is slowly awakening.

The dark figure let out a deafening roar that shook the entire city.

"Zhu Xiong Ying, are you ready to face my wrath?"

Zhu Xiong Ying reined in his horse, which neighed and came to a stop atop the hill. He gazed into the distance; the setting sun dyed the earth a blood red, just like the mountains of corpses and seas of blood he had traversed on his journey. The joy of victory did not cloud his judgment; instead, an inexplicable unease settled over him. This unfamiliar land, the strange monsters, and the mysterious man in black all instilled in him an unprecedented sense of crisis.

"Your Majesty, what's wrong?" Chang Yuchun rode up to his side, his rough voice breaking the silence.

Zhu Xiong Ying shook his head and pointed to the distant, undulating mountain range: "I always feel that something is watching us."

Chang Yuchun followed his gaze, but saw nothing but rolling mountains and a few circling vultures. "Your Majesty is overthinking it; perhaps they are just wild beasts."

"I hope so." Zhu Xiong Ying sighed; he knew his premonitions were usually accurate. He turned to look at the soldiers behind him, each one exhausted, their armor stained with blood, yet still vigilant. "Pass down the order: rest on the spot, and increase vigilance!"

The soldiers obeyed the order, dismounted, and began to set up camp. Zhu Xiong Ying also dismounted, walked to a large rock, sat down, and closed his eyes to rest.

Suddenly, a chilling wind blew past, making him shiver. He abruptly opened his eyes, and a powerful killing intent rushed towards him!

"Protect His Majesty!" Chang Yuchun roared, drawing his long sword and standing in front of Zhu Xiong Ying.

A dark figure descended from the sky at an astonishing speed, arriving in front of them in the blink of an eye!
With a loud clang, the blade in the dark figure's hand clashed with Chang Yuchun's longsword, sparking dazzling flashes.

Zhu Xiong Ying looked closely and realized that the person who came was the same man in black who had appeared on the city wall earlier!
"Who exactly are you?" Zhu Xiong Ying asked sternly.

The man in black let out a cold laugh, his voice hoarse and icy beneath the mask: "The one who will take your life!"

Having said that, the man in black launched another attack, each move deadly, aimed directly at Zhu Xiong Ying's vital points. Chang Yu Chun fought back fiercely, but gradually fell into a disadvantageous position.

"Damn it!" Zhu Xiong Ying cursed under his breath, knowing he couldn't just sit and wait to die. He drew his sword and joined the battle.

The three were locked in combat, their swords flashing and the air thick with murderous intent. Although Zhu Xiong Ying was highly skilled in martial arts, the black-clad man's strength was far more unfathomable, his moves unpredictable and difficult for Zhu to parry.

"Bang!" Zhu Xiong Ying was struck in the chest by the man in black, and flew backward, crashing heavily to the ground, spitting out a mouthful of blood.

"Your Majesty!" Chang Yuchun was shocked to see this and quickly stood in front of Zhu Xiong Ying, using his body to shield him from the attack by the man in black.

"General Chang, run! You are no match for him!" Zhu Xiong Ying struggled to her feet and wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth.

"We'll go together!" Chang Yuchun roared, and charged forward again, brandishing his sword.

However, the man in black simply waved his sleeve, and a powerful force sent Chang Yuchun flying, crashing heavily to the ground some distance away, his fate unknown.

"General Chang!" Zhu Xiong Ying's eyes were bloodshot; he had never felt so angry and powerless.
