Chapter 724 Why did you do this?

The man in black remained silent, but slowly raised the dagger in his hand, pointing it at Zhu Xiong Ying.

Zhu Xiong Ying sneered and said, "You want to kill me? You think you can?"

After saying that, Zhu Xiong Ying flashed and instantly appeared in front of the man in black, throwing a punch.

The man in black seemed to have anticipated this, and with a swift movement, he dodged Zhu Xiong Ying's attack.

Zhu Xiong Ying was not discouraged by her first missed attack and launched another attack.

The two instantly engaged in a fierce battle, exchanging blows with each other, producing a series of explosive sounds.

Although Zhu Xiong Ying had regained her strength, the man in black was not to be underestimated. The two exchanged blows, and for a time it was difficult to determine a winner.

During the fight, Zhu Xiong Ying discovered that the black-clad man's moves were unpredictable and incredibly fast, making it difficult for him to defend himself.

"Who exactly are you?" Zhu Xiong Ying asked again.

The man in black remained silent, but the attacks with the dagger in his hand became even more ferocious.

Zhu Xiong Ying was secretly alarmed. He knew he had to end this battle as soon as possible, or the consequences would be unimaginable.

With this in mind, Zhu Xiong Ying no longer held back and attacked with all his might.

He unleashed all the surging power within him, each punch and kick carrying a devastating force.

The man in black finally couldn't hold on any longer and was sent flying by Zhu Xiong Ying's punch, crashing heavily to the ground.

"Pfft!" The man in black spat out a mouthful of blood, struggling to stand up, but found that he was no longer able to fight.

Zhu Xiong Ying walked up to the man in black, looked down at him, and said coldly, "Now, can you tell me who you are?"

The man in black raised his head, looked at Zhu Xiong Ying, and a complex expression flashed in his eyes.

"Ahem..." The man in black coughed twice and said, "I am... your..."

Before the man in black could finish speaking, he suddenly spat out a mouthful of blood, collapsed to the ground, and died.

Zhu Xiong Ying frowned deeply; he hadn't expected the man in black to die so suddenly.

He crouched down, wanting to check the identity of the man in black, but found that the man in black was wearing a black mask.

Zhu Xiong Ying reached out and took off the mask, only to find a familiar face underneath.

"Suzhen?!" Zhu Xiong Ying exclaimed in surprise.

He never expected that the man in black would be Bai Suzhen!

"This...how is this possible?" Zhu Xiong Ying muttered to himself, his heart filled with doubt and confusion.

How did Bai Suzhen become like this? Why did she try to assassinate herself?

All of this was like a mystery, troubling Zhu Xiong Ying.

He looked at Bai Suzhen's corpse, his heart filled with grief and anger.

"Suzhen, why did you do this?" Zhu Xiong Ying roared to the sky, her voice filled with pain and despair.

Just then, he suddenly sensed an unusual presence. He turned around abruptly and saw a mysterious figure dressed in white and wearing a bamboo hat standing not far away, coldly watching him.

In the man's hand, he held a snow-white dagger, which radiated a holy light.

Zhu Xiong Ying was startled; he knew this was yet another powerful enemy.

"Who are you?" Zhu Xiong Ying asked in a deep voice.

The man in white didn't speak, but slowly raised the dagger in his hand and pointed it at Zhu Xiong Ying.

"You are... Xiaoqing?" Zhu Xiong Ying looked at the figure in white and suddenly had a bold guess in his mind.

The person in white slowly removed their straw hat, revealing an exquisitely beautiful face.

It really is Xiao Qing!
However, Xiaoqing's eyes were filled with indifference and murderous intent.

"Xiaoqing, why...why did you do this?" Zhu Xiong Ying asked incredulously.

Xiaoqing looked coldly at Zhu Xiong Ying and said, "For my sister!" With that, Xiaoqing flashed and instantly appeared in front of Zhu Xiong Ying, stabbing the dagger in her hand fiercely into Zhu Xiong Ying's chest.

The dagger pierced Zhu Xiong Ying's chest, but no blood gushed out. Xiao Qing was stunned; she felt as if the dagger had pierced a piece of hard steel. Zhu Xiong Ying looked down at the dagger in his chest, a cold smile curling at the corner of his mouth.

"Xiaoqing, you're too naive." Zhu Xiong Ying's voice was icy cold, devoid of any emotion.

He grabbed Xiaoqing's wrist and twisted it forcefully. Xiaoqing cried out in pain, and the dagger fell to the ground.

"You...you..." Xiaoqing looked at Zhu Xiong Ying in horror, not understanding why he was unharmed.

"I am the Son of Heaven, how could a little demon like you harm me?" A golden light flashed in Zhu Xiong Ying's eyes, and a powerful pressure emanated from Xiao Qing, making it hard for her to breathe.

Just then, Zhu Xiong Ying's wounds began to heal rapidly, and in the blink of an eye, he was completely restored without leaving a single scar.

"This...how is this possible?" Xiaoqing's eyes widened, unable to believe what she was seeing.

Zhu Xiong Ying snorted coldly and said, "Now, it's my turn to ask you. Where is Su Zhen?"

Xiaoqing bit her lip and didn't say anything.

"Not going to talk?" A cold glint flashed in Zhu Xiong Ying's eyes. "Then don't blame me for being impolite!"

He grabbed Xiaoqing by the neck and lifted her up.

"Cough cough..." Xiaoqing was being choked until she couldn't breathe, her face turning red.

"Speak! Where is Suzhen!" Zhu Xiong Ying shouted sternly.

A struggle flashed in Xiaoqing's eyes, but she ultimately shook her head.

"You're courting death!" Zhu Xiong Ying's eyes flashed with murderous intent, and he increased the force in his hand.

Xiaoqing felt her breathing becoming increasingly difficult, and her vision began to darken.

Just then, a white light flashed, and Zhu Xiong Ying's hand was knocked away.

Xiaoqing fell to the ground, panting heavily.

Zhu Xiong Ying turned around and saw a woman in white standing not far away; it was Bai Suzhen.

"Suzhen!" Zhu Xiong Ying exclaimed, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes.

Bai Suzhen looked at Zhu Xiong Ying, her eyes filled with complex emotions.

"Xiong Ying, are you alright?" Bai Suzhen asked with concern.

Zhu Xiong Ying shook his head and said, "I'm fine. Su Zhen, why did you do this?"

Bai Suzhen sighed and said, "Xiong Ying, I'm sorry, I..."

Before she could finish speaking, Xiaoqing suddenly rushed over and stood in front of Bai Suzhen.

"Sister, don't tell him!" Xiaoqing said anxiously.

Bai Suzhen looked at Xiaoqing, a hint of helplessness flashing in her eyes.

"Xiaoqing, move aside," Bai Suzhen said softly.

"No! I won't let him!" Xiaoqing said resolutely. "Sister, you can't tell him! He'll kill you!"

Bai Suzhen shook her head and said, "Xiaoqing, you're wrong. Xiong Ying isn't that kind of person."

"Sister!" Xiaoqing wanted to say something, but was interrupted by Bai Suzhen.

"Xiaoqing, listen to me. The reason I'm doing this is all for you." Bai Suzhen looked at Xiaoqing, her eyes filled with love and tenderness.

"For me?" Xiaoqing looked at Bai Suzhen in confusion.

“Yes, for you.” Bai Suzhen nodded. “Do you remember when we were little? We cultivated together on Mount Emei, and we went through so much together…”

Bai Suzhen began to recount her grievances with Fahai and the sacrifices she made to protect Xiaoqing.
