Chapter 86 Hearing My True Nature

With a mechanical body in the real world, the main god can communicate without having to log into the metaverse, which is much more convenient. He can also promptly establish data on his cultivation insights as reference data for deduction.

The main god robot's eyes flashed with a dark light as it transmitted the information to the main body of Xiaotuanshan, saying, "So, the contractor can achieve invincibility of the golden spear simply by cultivating the first volume of the True Scripture, 'Seeing Truth'?"

The robot smiled and said, "I'm just offering the most practical and insightful advice from a human perspective. If contractors can make good use of this ability, they may be able to create enormous value, since very few people are born with this ability."

The noise outside the window was so pleasant, the food tasted so delicious, and even the roadside weeds looked so vibrant under the sunlight.

After resting for a day to recover, Chen Jing prepared to begin the second volume of the True Scripture: "Volume 1: Upholding the Precepts and Seeing the Truth, followed by Volume 2: Hearing My True Nature."

Wenwo: This step is the simplest, and there is absolutely no difficulty involved.

Simply maintain the state of concealing one's true nature, without the sixth consciousness interfering with the body, allowing the seventh consciousness to sense the body and establish a deeper connection to strengthen oneself, just like a tree absorbing nutrients and growing naturally.

This step is estimated to take an average of three months to complete, and there is no effective way to improve efficiency; we can only rely on diligence and hard work to increase efficiency.

Chen Jing maintained his hidden state throughout.

In this state, the body was originally a puppet on strings, but over time it became a vivid and lifelike puppet.

Chen Jing could sense the budding seed gradually growing into a towering tree, its roots spreading to every corner of his body, urging the seventh consciousness—the Manas consciousness—to be applied to his heart: "Hibernation!"

Instantly, the force of the heartbeat weakens, and the frequency of the beating also decreases.

After a minute, the "thump-thump" sound rang out again, and the heart resumed beating at a normal frequency.

Chen Jing smiled and said, "It's all going to happen naturally! Now that my cultivation is over, the next step is to see my true nature."

After completing the process of hearing oneself, with the help of the seventh consciousness (manas), the step of seeing one's true nature becomes exceptionally simple!

Seeing one's true nature, and thus seeing the nature of all sentient beings, is the foundation for cultivating the Bodhisattva path. However, seeing the nature of all sentient beings is something that happens after Nirvana.

The first being one needs to see to realize one's true nature is oneself, one's own nature, one's original nature.

Therefore, seeing one's true nature can be placed before Nirvana, because seeing one's true nature is free from the defilement of other natures, and naturally there is no need to cultivate the attainment of a self as a prerequisite.

This step only requires sensing the body with the seventh consciousness. The heart is associated with joy, the liver with anger, the spleen with thought, the lungs with worry, and the kidneys with fear. The body is the source of emotions, and the place where emotions give rise to nature is similar to the brain but not quite the brain.

The mind is in the brain, but the nature is in the body. If only the brain thinks without being disturbed by various emotions, the resulting thoughts will be quite rational. This is why some people who have had their hearts and kidneys replaced by others experience drastic changes in their temperament.

The fearlessness in the Lion's Mark refers to the ultimate courage, which can be anger or fear, both of which are composed of the seven emotions and six desires. If the fearlessness is infused with the seven emotions and six desires, then the Lion's Mark will greatly increase its power, turning a dead lion into a living lion.

After seeing one's true nature and original self, one can then complete the step of Nirvana and the realization of one's true self.

Sexuality can be like the original mind and the two minds at the level of consciousness, allowing people to understand the wonderful realm of all beings without being corrupted by animalistic instincts.

This step, according to calculations, takes an average of three months to complete. However, one can improve efficiency by stimulating emotions; the greater the emotional fluctuation, the faster one can complete the step of seeing one's true nature.

"Waaaah..."

Chen Jing chose the simplest way to stimulate his emotions: watching a movie.

Feel the emotional changes transmitted through the heart, kidneys, spleen, and other organs, which come together to create an influence on one's mind.

Using the seventh consciousness—Manas—as the eye, I recorded the changes in temperament dominated by the seven emotions and six desires of the body, and spent a month and a half completing the self-observation of my nature.

Although observing one's true nature is the simplest, it also means that one's physiognomy skills have successfully reached the second level.

Four months!
To be precise, it was four months and six days.

Chen Jing finally completed the first and second volumes of the true scripture, and was only one step away from perfecting his practice: "After completing the second volume, 'Hearing My Nature,' and finishing the last volume, 'The Dharma of Nirvana,' I will be able to cultivate the Bodhisattva path and reach the realm of no-form."

What is human nature?
Human nature is inherently good; human nature is inherently evil.

Is the self-nature perceived by the Manas consciousness at this moment the true self?

Nirvana is the merging of the self-nature perceived by the Manas consciousness into the lotus of the heart.

After Nirvana, my nature does not remain unchanged. If a person has seen the changes of the world and the transformation of the sea, yet remains unawakened and as stubborn as a rock, what difference is there between him and dying at the moment of Nirvana?
This is the risk one must face in achieving Nirvana.

The word "妙" (miao) in "涅槃妙心" (Nirvana's wondrous mind) refers to change.

If one's mind and nature cannot possess the essence of "wonder," then one is merely an empty shell.

The inner vision of the lotus not only needs to integrate with one's own nature, but also needs to establish a connection with the five internal organs of the body.

Normally, Xinlian maintains a connection with her body, making my nature constantly changing.

When the mind is in a state of imprinted consciousness, the connection is severed, and one is not influenced by animalistic instincts; this is the true formlessness.

Seeing the lion's fearless courage inspired me to develop great courage and increase my boldness. That's acceptable.

The fearless lion's bestial nature invades my nature, and the change in my mind is not what I desire. It is also mixed with the pollution of ignorant wisdom, so it is not permissible.
