Are there many cultivators in this land?
Throughout every era of Chinese civilization, the number of renowned cultivators has been extremely limited.

Even including those unknown cultivators who live in seclusion and cultivate immortality, their numbers wouldn't be too many.

However, compared to other civilizations, or those semi-civilized and semi-barbaric groups, the number of cultivators in Chinese civilization is much, much more than other civilizations can imagine.

Taking Buddhism as an example, in its place of origin, India, the eight hundred Arhats and one hundred thousand Bhikkhus in the Western Paradise were merely followers of the Buddha.

True cultivators of immortality are extremely rare, with the exception of Buddha Shakyamuni, Venerable Kasyapa, and a very few others.

In this land of China, few people specialize in the teachings of a single religion, and few religions remain stagnant and unaffected by other religions.

However, within Buddhism alone, there were also cultivators of immortality such as Xuanzang, Kuiji, and Yuance. After the extinction of the Yogacara school, their teachings were put into practice, as were those of Jigong and Huineng.

If you include Taoism, Confucianism, and cultivators who do not belong to the three religions, the number is even greater!

However, the number of cultivators in Chinese history is unusually large. What is the relationship between this and the methods of creating heaven and earth or becoming an immortal?
The crowd's minds raced, yet they couldn't grasp the deeper meaning, and they called upon the saint's name once more:
"Qingdi!"

"Fuxi!"

"King of men!"

"Emperor!"

"The Ancestor of Humanity!"

"Taihao!"

"........."

Fuxi's eyes were cloudy and he had said that he heard others call his name, but he never reacted again.

The towering body was submerged in the raging flames, gradually becoming transparent and illusory, without thought or consciousness, and merging into the Bagua diagram, operating like a machine.

At this moment, his insights completely overlapped with those of the Azure Emperor, yet he had no chance to utter a second word.

In other words, the unusual number of cultivators in China is the most illogical point that Fuxi observed and understood throughout history.
The information we know today, or the understanding of modern people, must be missing a crucial link, which is why the Azure Emperor was surprised.

Why would someone with only one sentence to say ask this question?

Chen Jing looked at the soon-to-dissipate Azure Emperor, knowing that the other party could no longer answer, and bowed respectfully, saying, "Thank you for your guidance, Azure Emperor!"

Qin Zhen glanced at Chen Jing and said, "Didn't you say you could communicate with the heavens? Tell me, what is the meaning of calling the Azure Emperor?"

Chen Jing glanced back and said, "Call me Emperor, and I'll teach you!"

Calling someone "Emperor" in exchange for the answer to the Azure Emperor's question would undoubtedly be a worthwhile deal, but Chen Jing doesn't seem to know the answer, so calling him that would probably be pointless.

Before Qin Zhen could finish his thought, Chen Jing waved his hand and said, "If you don't want to call, then forget it!"

Qin Zhen swallowed the words that were rising in his throat, his gaze filled with resentment, and turned to speak to the Azure Emperor amidst the flames of the mortal world.

As the Bagua diagram rotated, thousands of human figures appeared, and the original human form of the Azure Emperor completely disappeared, transforming into a giant tree that could support the sky.

Each leaf represents a thought, some lush and green, others withered and swaying precariously, all clinging to the flames of the mortal world, like a Fusang tree where a golden crow dwells. This is the core of the world consciousness at the spiritual level of the Celestial Realm.

At the same time, a small sphere containing a microscopic model of the Celestial Realm appeared in front of the towering tree, merging with the world consciousness at the data level.

Fuxi's self-awareness is fading away, like a drop of water merging into an ocean.

As the heavens evolved, extraordinary phenomena swept across the land. In the main continent of the cultivation world, in various secret realms, whether players or natives, everyone could witness the emergence of the heavens simply by looking up.

Even virtual reality gamers, upon seeing the celestial landscape, stopped what they were doing: "Humanity's second world is about to be unveiled, and Tianyuan Group has started advertising!"

Another man with dark circles under his eyes excitedly chimed in: "In the future, games will not only have sound and visuals, but also pain and touch. Won't that be amazing?"

Meanwhile, Tianyuan Group's official website announced that it will sell a simplified version of the Dimensional Pod, with a starting price of 30,000 yuan, giving everyone the opportunity to welcome the arrival of the Second World.

Laboratories across the country sprang into action, putting spiritual plants, spiritual beasts, and incense to aid cultivation into production from the experimental stage.

By developing health and spiritual training programs, they began teaching advanced courses to create the first batch of systematic practitioners.

The world of cultivation, Dingzhou.

Wang Bulu, holding a jade seal and a spirit banner, walked out of the Lotus Pond on Mount Li.

Each step covered more than ten zhang (approximately 33 meters), seemingly walking, but in reality, the feet did not touch the ground or get dusty, passing through the city to arrive at the continuous mountain range.

Holding a jade chess piece inscribed with the character '士' (shi), he activated his divine energy to power the magical artifact and uttered a low shout: "Open!"

In an instant, a dark dragon soared into the sky, opening the gate to the underworld. Wang Bulu disappeared from his original spot and arrived in the ghost city of Dingzhou underworld.

Unlike the ten pawns and soldiers, the other twenty-two Yin Dragon branches are much stronger, with enough spiritual energy to support more Yin spirits. Thus, a ghost city was built ahead of time, and the bottleneck of the ninth rank was not broken.

Wang Bulu was born from a lotus flower and cultivated to the second realm of perfect heaven and man. He received full support from the Lishan Dao of Dingzhou. Everything was prepared in advance before Wang Bulu left the mountain.

Several City God seals merged into the Underworld, and half of Dingzhou was seized by the Underworld. The Daye Ancestral Temple could not be dealt with for the time being due to the opening of the Heavenly Court, and similar things were happening in other prefectures.

The Yin Dragon established a connection with the heavens, and an octagonal immortal gate immediately appeared above the underworld.

Wang Bulu looked up at the giant tree in the sky and murmured, "I have troubled you all to transform the heavens. Emperor Fuxi has passed away and could not leave behind much useful information, but we should still fight for the remains left by the Azure Emperor."

Xuzhou is located near the capital city of Kyoto.

A scholar walked along a mountain path, preparing to travel to the capital to take the imperial examination.

As dusk fell and rain clouds gathered, the scholar found a temple to rest in.

He kowtowed devoutly to the land: "Lord Land God, please bless me so that I may pass the imperial examination with flying colors. I will offer incense and tributes."

Looking up, he saw a phantom figure appear before him, coldly saying, "Scholar, you only need to offer up your soul, and I will bless you to achieve the highest rank in the imperial examination."

The scholar looked wary and shouted, "Where did this ghost come from, daring to impersonate the gods of the land?"

The figure smiled at the scholar and said, "I was just kidding. How could offering your soul guarantee someone will pass the imperial examination?"

Just as the scholar breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that the local deity was playing a trick on him, the phantom grinned and said, "Even if you disagree, I can still eat your soul."

Having said that, the humanoid phantom opened its mouth and inhaled slightly. A gas overflowed from the scholar's body, which was the human thought taken from the Yuan Realm and purified by the cultivation world. It was also a sliver of hope for the virtual life to come to life.

Suddenly, a golden talisman fell down, bearing only four words: "The heavens have been opened!"

The illusory figure crashed into the scholar's body, stepped out of the temple gate, looked up at the sky, and saw the phantom of the heavens clearly visible. The phantom revealed a hint of urgency: "No, the heavens must not be created." (End of Chapter)
